“The service was good. Delivery on time and the pallet was unloaded into a convenient place. My only gripe is that, although the timber is dry and well packaged, the majority of the individual logs are small and more suited to a log-burner than to an open fire, which is what I wanted. Nevertheless, a good service overall.”

“This year is the third time I've purchased kiln dried logs from The Luxury Wood Company. Always pleased to get this in the woodshed. Perfect size for my wood burner, efficient burning, great for those winter nights. Bonus is the crate it comes in, weeks of good dry kindling once cut and chopped. Recommend any day.”

“This time some of the logs will need chopping, they are rather large. They do say that if you chop the logs you get warm twice! Otherwise, good, as usual.”

“The compressed logs and ruff bricks are great. Delivery charge should be made more obvious before purchase. Many different delivery companies have been used and are of varying helpfulness.”

“Product is fantastic. Ash purchased burns really well. The delivery driver however turned up in an articulated lorry which caused a few raised eyebrows when it arrived and needed some thought regarding access.”

“There was certainly a lot of wood in the crate. Burning is good, no spitting. I am using it on an open fire so the fact there was quite an amount of small pieces wasn’t necessarily a problem effectively they were kindling. Overall I’m perfectly satisfied.”

“Went with a pallet of birch for a change, good variety of sizes small and big. Delivery was spot on driver bought pallet round and placed it where I needed it to go. Burns well and gives of a good heat and has a nice smell.”

“We have purchased our wood from the Luxury Wood company for the last couple of years - and have always been very happy with the quality. This time however the logs did not seem so dry - it has caused the stove to blacken a lot and is harder to light - not all the logs were damp but some were.”

“the ash logs are very dry and burn well, idealy they should be of a larger diameter to slow the rate of burning, it is the surface area to mass ratio effect. The pallet they came in/on generates a lot of kindling which again is dry and burns well, I cut it up with my jig and band saws. The delivery company accomadated my timing to the hour so my young gardner could be on hand to store the logs. apart from the size can't fault the logs and I buy annually”
