“My only (minor) criticism is that neither the delivery company nor the driver rang me about a delivery time, so the lorry turned up at an inconvenient time.”

“I ordered 50 nets of ash. Nets all evenly packed and manageable. Ash burns cleanly, hotter and more slowly than cheaper alternatives.”

“Quality log properly dry .they burn well and the stove work better.i have been using many different company buying always 3 pallets per year ,I was buying briquette because very dry and good output but real wood look better when burning .one advice would be to try to have log more uniform some are maye to small and I like personally the one a bit more chunky.i will recommend your company if someone wants quality logs.”

“The full crate of ash logs was well packed and waterproofed. Delivery was a little "awkward" as an 18 ton lorry came when a smaller delivery vehicle was asked for. It meant the load was difficult to move and had to be left in the lane so I had to move everything straight away, which was ok as it was a sunny day. Pleased with the wood though there were quite a lot of small pieces included which obviously burn faster than larger sized logs. Nice addition of kindling. I will definitely use LWC again and hope for another sunny day.”

“The logs are easy to order and easy to light and enjoy. Service could be improved though: the bags of logs were delivered on such a flimsy pallet that off-loading them from the lorry and moving them into the store took ages. A pity.”

“The whole process was great. Communication was good and they helped with contact with the delivery driver. The only problem was that the delivery man said the pallet had been too big and had to be split and a couple of bags were damaged as the load was transferred onto a cheap pallet that broke.”

“Bought combo pallet of Heatlogs, peat and half crate of kiln dried ash. Very happy with the product, and the £20 freebie of kindling, firelighters and lighter. Delivery chap was very helpful and we manhandled what was a rapidly collapsing pallet/crate up the driveway and into position. Chopped up pallet / crate and it made excellent kindling! One star dropped due to inability to deliver outside Mon-Fri, 9-5. We both work so even a more accurate indication of WHEN on a particular day would help, but depot were very reluctant to do so.”

“Quick delivery, good customer service and a very good product. I didn't give 5* because they now add a surcharge to deliveries to the Highlands which they haven't done before and other suppliers don't do. Sadly I will have to reconsider my future supplier out of principle for this reason. LWC might want to shop around themselves for another haulier with no surcharge?”

“They sell the product at a reasonable price but what really sells it to me is the courier they use for my area. They are so very helpful and make the process so much easier. Having a tonne of pellets delivered in the rain when your husband is at work is not a pleasant experience when you have a difficult driver (the reason I stopped placing orders with another company) but our local haulier don't see us as a problem.”

“The crate was well packed. The only criticisms was the good quality wood was on the outside hiding the poor quality logs in the middle. The aftercare was very quick resulting in a positive outcome. Issue now resolved thanks.”
