“A well organised service. Delivery contracter was prompt, and did indeed call 60 minutes before arrival as stated. Shame that you can't get the wood up a driveway. Great wood!”

“The product they supply is excellent - We bought Kiln dried Ash and this is the third or fourth time we have ordered from them. Interestingly this is the first time we have had to pay an excess for delivery - we live 30 miles outside Aberdeen - the courier they are using is still the same and instead of taking a week for delivery it took 2 ... If they can sort this out they would get 5 stars”

“Purchase and delivery was easy; courier rang to give time of arrival, much better than local log men who can always find an excuse for not turning up, so you end up wasting a day.”

“I am very happy with the prompt response to my order, however I am less than satisfied with the extreme rise in cost. I have been praising your company to friends who have new burners,but the cost is a consideration.”

“However a lot of the wood is of a very small size, some I used for kindling! This obviously is not an economical buy which is a shame as the wood was dry and very clean. I would prefer larger logs please.”

“I am happy with the service from the Wood Company but unfortunately there were problems with the delivery.Having agreed a delivery date with the haulier by 3:30pm on the day there had been no sign of them. I telephoned them and was told that they had technical difficulties but my goods would still be delivered that day. About 5:00pm they called to say that they where still having problems and would I accept delivery the next morning (Saturday) to which I agreed. While appreciating that technical problems do arise it would have been better if I could have been informed sooner and not spend a whole day waiting in. Having said that the haulier company representative was apologetic and pleasant and did what he could to solve the problem.”

“Excellent burning, great heat, a good purchase. The only fault I have is that the logs were a bit on the small side, would prefer much chunkier logs.”

“The logs were well packaged and up to their usual high standard. The only problem I had was the local delivery which failed to turn up at all on the day that the delivery was promised. I waited in all day which is very frustrating especially as they had my phone number and could have let me know they had problems. The logs were eventually delivered 2 days later.”

“Delivery of 70 bags on single pallet means consignment is so heavy it beds in on the roadside. my wife and I have to carry all bags to store in garage. I am nearly 80 and maller batches on soft tyre trolley better please”

“Bought a full crate of oak, great wood and great value. Delivery company were rubbish. Been having logs delivered for five years from another company who dropped the pallet outside the door this man left the logs at the end of my road and we had to barrow them down. Still I would recommend the logs.”
