“The delivery was very good, in particular, as neither my wife or I were in, the driver waited whilst a neighbour contacted us and when we got back he manouvered the delivery into the garage. We've not yet lit the fire but the wood is dry, tested with damp meter, the crate it came in can also be sawn down for the fire.”

“Normally deliver pallet ok but the last time I got a delivery, I was out and the pallet was all over the drive with broken bags, I did get a refund for the broken bags so all was good”

“Good service and quality wood although some logs very thick which can be a pain if you only have a small wood burner like mine... Also had two pallets delivered which is fine but not when one of them is blue!! Please only deliver on white as I can use them as kindling.”

“Good delivery, driver very friendly and helpful, put the logs just where I wanted them, thank you. I haven't tried burning any logs yet as its only th e beginning of September so I can't comment on that part of the order. The reason I gave 4 not 5 is because the picture shows a lady standing by the jumbo crate and I guess she must be tiny, slightly disappointed by the size and won't know how well they last until we use them. All in all a good service. Thank you very much”

“Ordered a large crate of kiln dried ash. Delivery came on expected day, but driver had been told I'd be out and to leave it on the drive, I have no idea where this info came from. I saw him arrive and was able to have it placed where I wanted in my garage. There is not much room and the driver was very helpful and went to a lot of trouble to help me place it inch-perfect. These pallets are immensely dangerous to move, it nearly toppled over twice as we were moving it, despite being on flat tarmac. I would happily pay up front and have it delivered in two halves a few months apart. Wood looks very good. As for the amount, the outer dimensions do just about match what is stated (I measure 170x117x97), but I think they should give internal measurements too so people can compare volumes of actual wood. The photos also need updating, they look far taller in the photos than they actually are.”

“Delivery on time andf the logs look good. However, I would have given 5 stars had my request for a 7.5 tonne delivery lorry been complied with. As happened, the carrier decided to save money by putting my delivery on an 18 tonne lorry, which couldn't access my driveway.”

“Excellent service during the order and delivery process. The logs were obviously everything you claim in terms of moisture content and the bags make them very easy to handle. My only complaint - and the reason that I have given you 4 stars and not 5 - is that some of the logs would fail the Trade Descriptions Act. In fact, several bags contained pieces that would struggle to fir the description of kindling. That said, I am really pleased with your company and product.”

“Good quality wood. Poor delivery service. Didn't ring me 1 hour before delivery and had to beg driver to bring wood to dry cover store. He wanted to leave it on drive 70 yards away. It would have taken me two days to move it piece by piece on my own. And it would have been soaking wet by then. He lost a ten pound tip, as is the norm when I have wood delivered. It only took him fifteen seconds to pull it down the drive on a pallet truck.”
