“I was looking to stock up on the same kind of compressed sawdust briquettes I got last year. The company I bought them from last year don't do them any more, so I was delighted to see the LWC had them - and at a slightly lower price. But I find they aren't *quite* what I was hoping for. This year's batch seem to have a higher water content. They are crumbly - you can break them into chunks by hand, they burn quicker, and they expand a LOT on burning, leaving quite a lot of fluffy ash to clog the grate. The other lot, from last year (I still have a few) are much harder, burn slower (more like coal) and leave almost no ash. I'm not complaining - these are fine, a really good product, and will keep us warm all winter at a really good price. But I do prefer the other ones!”

“Delivery let down. After waiting in all day in a Thursday. Mechanical fault so unable to unload. Promised Next day deliver. Never happened finally delivered Saturday. Numerous phone calls to delivery Co and No answer over the 2 days. Unacceptable.”

“The wood is good and I was grateful in particular for the delivery guy who was in touch before he came and I met him outside the house and he did his best to get the wood as close to the door as possible - it made all the difference.”

“Ordered logs and then peat. Both orders turned up on time and packed as advertised. Logs are kiln dried and burn very well, peat also very good Will re buy when needed and happy to recommend to friends.”
