“I'm a longstanding customer who has always been very happy with my orders and value for money. This order of a crate of briquettes had got wet somehow with some of the briquettes split and blown from the water. I e-mailed with some pictures and immediately was offered the option of returning the damaged bags or a store credit of £75 which I accepted. Excellent responsive, friendly and competent customer service - just what I need to carry on being a happy customer!”

“The kiln dried wood is excellent - and once you get over the price differential it is actually better value - it burns hotter, it burns longer, its burns cleaner in the stove, its easier to light - difficult to see any downside”

“Very pleased with logs which were delivered in a tightly packed and well wrapped crate. Logs were of a good size and quality - ready to use - no need of further chopping. I will re-order.”

“We purchased a full pallet of eco logs,even though we have limited storage space we assumed that if they were packed in plastic they would be protected if we had to leave some in the open.When delivered many of the bags were split & obviously damp because the logs started to swell & broke the plastic even more before we had time to get them into the wood store.They are still swelling & disintegrating.Even the seemingly whole undamaged logs invariably break in 2 while being handled.All in all a bit of a nightmare & we shall not be reordering from your company”

Dear Anthony, any goods arriving damaged we can compensate you for if we have documentation on the delivery note. Please can you contact us as the heat logs are individually wrapped and also fully shrink-wrapped before dispatch, and we would like to know what has happened here.

“Ordered the half crate of kiln dried oak logs. Delivery completed without any problems or chasing, the driver was exceptionally helpful, dropping the pallet exactly where i wanted it. The logs are really dense and burn for much longer than the ash and birch I used beforehand. They do take a bit longer to get my stove up to temperature, but once there they burn beautifully. Every log is consistent in size (I'd call them medium to large) so if, like me, you like to start with smaller ones, you may need to split some yourself. All in all I'm really happy with LWC and will be placing an order for a full crate next time.”

“Luxury wood company does exactly what it says it will. Great service and great prices on firewood. Website is simple to use and order. We bought a pallet of Ash nets. Wood is kiln dried Ash and delivered shrink wrapped. Cut to the stated size and it burns great in my wood stove. Delivery was a breeze, the driver getting it right to my door, exactly where I needed it to be. Very happy with communications by e-mail, and an order traking link that works well. Will definitly buy from you guys again. 5* for everything..... Many thanks .... D”

“The quality of the kiln dried oak and birch is excellent. The delivery went well but it arrived in the late morning rather than the predicted 'pm' slot which in the event didn't inconvenience us. The driver was really very competent and easily the most capable we have had this year. Ring for access numbers should be highlighted on the invoices to help the drivers.”

“I am happy with the service from the Wood Company but unfortunately there were problems with the delivery.Having agreed a delivery date with the haulier by 3:30pm on the day there had been no sign of them. I telephoned them and was told that they had technical difficulties but my goods would still be delivered that day. About 5:00pm they called to say that they where still having problems and would I accept delivery the next morning (Saturday) to which I agreed. While appreciating that technical problems do arise it would have been better if I could have been informed sooner and not spend a whole day waiting in. Having said that the haulier company representative was apologetic and pleasant and did what he could to solve the problem.”

“I wouldn't say the luxury wood company made me happy, the initial ordering procedure was quite straightforward, but the delivery system leaves a lot to be desired. I got an email telling me to contact my local delivery provider to find out the date of delivery, I got a total runaround, nobody available to take my call, leave a message, only to be told ...this mailbox is full, call back later or hold the line for assistance, which then cuts off your call. I called again and was transferred to 3 different departments, and then got the leave a message, nobody available message again. I Called the luxury wood company who promised to sort this out for me and get back to me with a delivery date, they never got back to me...what a surprise!. Late that same evening, there was a knock on my door and lo and behold my wood delivery was here, we had to move two vehicles, and run around like idiots because we were totally unprepared for the delivery due to the total lack of communication from the luxury wood company and its associated delivery providers. That being said the delivery driver himself, was absolutely brilliant, very helpful and wasn't annoyed at having to wait while we got organised. I won't be using the luxury wood company again. An email in the morning telling me to organise delivery, and the actual delivery arriving the same day without any warning is totally unacceptable.”

“The wood arrived in good time and is of good quality. We do rattle through quite a lot due to the size of our boiler stove but the wood burns cleanly and efficiently and I would only buy Kiln Dried wood. It saves money in the long run!”

“The logs are cut to the perfect size, beautifully dry and burn slowly to a great heat, best logs I have had, and would be reluctant to buy from anywhere else. Prompt delivery in watertight container or bag. Would certainly recommend.”
