“Generally I have no major issues, although this last drop I had to chase, and the wood is not as good a quality as it used to be from my experience with the last couple of drops.”

“Great product (we buy the kiln dried Ash logs) and the price is always at or below market. The only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is there has always been a complication of one kind or another with the pallet delivery company.”

“Delivered on the notified day, product well packed & performs well. First time I have received a pellet delivery in the dark, next time will request delivery in daylight as there are no street lights.”

“Product looks okay, bit too soon to fully comment on the product. However, yet again problems with the storage and transportation of the pallet. This time it was the top of the pallet. It had been damaged and the top weather protection plastic sheet had been ripped along with one 15kg bags of pellets had been totally exposed. Fortunately, we received the pallet and it was placed under cover; had it not been left under cover and it had rained at least one 15kg of pellets would have been ruined. Logistics companies still have a lot to improve upon.”

“Wood arrived as arranged, delivered by very helpful driver who dropped it straight onto the drive. The wood burns well without fogging up our wood burner. All in all an excellent service and product, very pleased.”

“No complaint with the Company specifically but please note the following: I ordered expensive oak logs because they reputedly burn hotter and slower - not true. Hotter, possibly but slower no. Somewhat disappointing as I could have bought cheaper logs elsewhere. The courier did not notify me of when the pallet was due to arrive. I rang LWC and they chased it up - they were arriving the same day. The driver refused to drive up the driveway (other bigger lorries have managed it) so he spent an age trying to manoeuvre the pallet from the lorry onto the driveway. Then I had to drive my car down the driveway, load it with logs, drive back up the driveway, stack them in the shed and repeat the process until the pallet was emptied - exhausting at an age but I am a 76 year old woman.”

“Delivery was fine, wood is in very thin pieces (last time I ordered I had some huge chunks that wouldn't fit into my stove), which means refuelling more often. Am also finding the there's a lot of soot coming off this batch of wood, which shouldn't be the case if it's properly kiln dried.”

“I have purchased numerous items from this company, all have been as they advertised. The quality, service and delivery is first class. They can be a bit pricey but you get what you pay for and much more product for your money than companies who supply in a bag. Service is impeccable and they are a joy to deal with”

“Logs are excellent, this is our second order. Regrettably the holding pallet on both deliveries was damaged by the delivery courier making it very difficult to move.”

“I waited a while before I wrote this review as I wanted sufficient time to try out the logs I bought from the Luxury Wood. I am very happy to say I am happy with the quality of the wood, it burns beautifully and gives a long lasting steady heat supply. The quantity was very good as was the delivery. I will definitely be buying again in bulk and would highly recommend Luxury Wood as one of the best Log fire companies.”
