“We have had several deliveries of your kiln dried ash and we are very pleased with the quality of the wood and with your service. One occasion the wood was outside the range re water content and you dealt with the issue straight away and sent a replacement without any argument. Excellent service”

“The wood order was exactly as described however delivery was difficult. Date provided for delivery and we arranged to take time off work to accept. Delivery time between 9am and 5pm. At 5.15pm called delivery company who apologised but they were not able to deliver and we should have been contacted. Delivery re-scheduled for Monday. It snowed we lost phone/internet and mobile signal only in one part of the house!!!! Advised luxury wood co that we were ONLY contactable by email and please would a further re-schedule of delivery be arranged. After a few emails back and fore because contact was being attempted by phone, delivery was eventually re-arranged between 9-12pm. The wood arrived at 4.15pm. Luckily my husband was home who had to help get the pallet off the lorry and out of the middle of our shared driveway. If my husband hadn’t helped, the delivery was going to be returned to the depot. As a result of the delivery problems I would not feel comfortable using Luxury Wood Company again. Luxury Wood Company did pop some freebies to apologise for the delivery problems which was lovely but there is no way I could have helped the delivery driver extract nor move the pallet.”

“Ordered a full pallet of Ash logs. I have to say outstanding quality. They are brilliant. Very pleased. The delivery driver wheeled them into garage... took him 2 minutes.”

“Quick easy to order good delivery advice good delivery company very nice pure ash logs burn well with minimum ash fragrant smoke best price large well packed crate wood from crate chops up to nice kindling best vfm I could find what's not like :)”

“I bought the large crate of Birch logs. If your considering this purchase, you need to check the dimensions of the crate as the girl they use in the add must be very short. Also the pallet is not square as per a standard pallet it has the same width but is not as deep. The birch logs are not very thick so they burn through quite quickly. This is probably due to the type of wood though.”

“Really pleased, burns well, great size. Overall seems good value for the money as heat generated from a few logs lasts ages. Would definitely consider buying again as moisture levels appear as described.”

“Very good customer service. The delivery company, is as they are called, First class efficient and helpful. Quality of the logs is very good, although for my needs(a small fire place) quite a few of the logs are too large and I am having to get them chopped. All in all I have and will continue to recommend The Luxury Wood Company”

“Lot of small pieces, this is our second order, the first also had a lot of what I would classify as kindling. We assumed that we were unlucky with the first load, two strikes and you are out. The logs where delivered on a lorry with a maximum tailgate load of 500kg, the logs weighed 600kg. We had to help to manually off load a minimum of 100kg. Just not good enough.”

“Wood was ok but delivery was not prearranged. I asked for a call to arrange convenient delivery time, but instead I got a call when the truck was on the way - just as I was leaving for work. Following initial review they came back to me and offered to make it up.”

“I have had logs from your company previously and been very happy with the size and quality. This time the logs are very small, some so small it is almost like kindling. Really disappoint as people have commented in the past about the quality of wood in our basket st Home. At least 3 friends have used the luxury wood company on our recommendation.”
