“This review relates to my recently delivery of KG Premium Wood pellet: The pellets themselves looked to be EN A1 compliant in that there were few long pellets and the bagging was sufficiently robust. However, on arrival, there was a significant loss of pellets caused by poor handling i.e. 4 bags on the pallet corners were torn but, worse still, another 5 bags on the bottom layer were torn because of the flimsy pallet used; it flexed excessively when lifted by the forklift. Finally, the bags had no recycling information. I would have hoped for an LD4 symbol?”

“Very pleased with the quality of the logs as usual and the efficient service. The delivery arrangements have improved dramatically over the years with the on set of the electric pump truck which according to my recent delivery driver most drivers now have. He can now easily manuover up drive and straight into garage, so I can unload at leisure. It makes a massive difference. He was exceptionally helpful. Overall a very good experience which I would highly recommend.”

“Ordering process very good and free delivery great. I wish a smaller lorry could be used as we live on a country lane and have a steep drive which means the load has to be dropped at the bottom of our drive which, in turn, makes it very difficult to move into our shed. Apart from that, excellent service and would definitely recommend them.”

“I got a full crate of ash logs, well dried and handy sizes. I cut a slot in the plastic wrap and the crate then serves as a log store; when it’s empty, I’ll burn that too ! Good value and fast delivery.”

“Been using this company for quite a few years now and would definatly recommend to others. Their pellets are delivered with in a week of placing ordering on a pallet by carrier to our door. There a good price and most importantly they don't jam in our feed hopper which did happen with others I've used in the past before finding this company and their pellets. Thank you for good customer service.”

“Seemed expensive at first but the pallet is so well packed I think this was actually better value than the ton bag supplier I used previously. Delivered a day later than expected but this wasn't too much of an issue. Driver left pallet in a good place on the drive. Will use again.”

“I've ordered kiln dried wood (both oak and ash) several times from the Luxury Wood Company. The wood is securely packed and delivered in good condition. I wish they used a little less plastic -- but I can see that they intend to protect the wood in top condition. The delivery service is helpful and friendly.”

“Company should offer larger size as most wood too small,burns quickly. The palette delivery is not suitable for rural areas as very difficult to move from roadside. Too much plastic packaging alongside palette and also are the nets recyclable ??”

“The compressed logs and ruff bricks are great. Delivery charge should be made more obvious before purchase. Many different delivery companies have been used and are of varying helpfulness.”

“I was extremely dissapointed at the delivery of the wood. The carrier company driver was told explicitly by me to stay on the gravel road within my farm and he failed to do so, getting his lorry stuck in the mud which then took 5 hours to remove, by which time my ground was completely turned over and one manhole cover pulled out of the ground. He did not drop the wood off but then proceeded to tell me that it was road side delivery only and he left the pallett outside my gate at the end of this long episode which meant that I had to spend the entire following day lifting the wood out of the pallett onto my very small trailer and depositing it in my barn.”

“It took more than 7 days to deliver with no intermediate contact until I phoned to enquire where the delivery was. However the delivery driver was excellent and did everything in his power to help drop the pallet in a convenient place.”
