“Unfortunately the oak logs arrived covered in mould. I contacted your office and received an apology and compensation so will probably continue to use The Luxury Wood Company. However as the full crates are inherently unstable when being transported (especially on the lorry tail lift) you should instead offer 2 half crates for the same price as a full crate.”

“The web shop is well set out and ordering is easy.The delivery company is first class and the drivers have been delightful.The logs are of a consistent high quality and I would not bother with any other supplier.”

“The oak seems of reasonable quality. Have found it variable as far as burning is concerned, but Tha may be me getting used to setting the fire. When burning well it lasts well and provides balanced heat when not burning well seems to want to go out. I think I may need to clear Ash more often but my burner is designed to run on an ash bed and only be cleared every 4 or 5 weeks. A season burning will decide whether to burn again.”

“Luxury wood company good, but the delivery wasn't as when they delivered the 960kg we had to man handle them off the truck off the pallet both being over 70 it was very difficult as we handled them 3 time's once of the truck then in to the wheelbarrow and finally into the outbuilding. So that was 960kg multiplied by 3 nearly 3 tons we moved. The delivery Company send trucks that can't handle the pallets this is the third year on the run this as happened.”

“Delivery arrived 30 mins after I called and spoke to the Luxury wood company to find out when delivery would take place. During this call I was told it would be not for a couple of days. It arrived just as I was leaving for work and the driver had to drop it on drive and not in garage where needed. I then had to unload move and re stack whole pallet. I Have now started to burn wood and is is not to the standard of previous orders. Moisture content varies between 16 and 24 %. This is much higher than the 8 to 15 % range I have been used to. Would need re assurance of quality before I would place another order.”
