“Wood - excellent as always, nicely packed great wood..... However!!!! Delivery was an absolute nightmare. Was promised delivery on the first Friday, nothing, no show no phone call nothing. Called up and was promised by the next Friday AM delivery.... no show again. Then called three times Friday afternoon and could not get through, waited 15 minutes on each occasion to get an answerphone, left a message 3 times and no one answered. Final (fourth call) after no one called me back to get a message saying the "office is now closed until the Monday morning". Logs finally showed up around one month after delivery. Received a credit note for some compensation which was appreciated, but not received, 2 weeks and counting, not sure if it will show up or not? I'm sorry to leave this review, but I was asked what my opinion is and I can only report as per the facts. Shame - been using Luxury Wood for years, but it's gone down hill for some reason? Summary. Great product. But nightmare logistics and customer service in terms of answering the phone.”

“The customer service when ordering was excellent and very helpful. However the delivery company not so, only gave me 10 minute notice of my delivery arrival and then was not best impressed that he had to wait for the fork lift driver. A number of the bags of pellets was also split.”

“Ordered a giant crate of oak logs. Driver put crate exactly where I wanted in the garage. The driver also took the time to talk to my 2year old son who’s mad about lorries. First time I’ve used this company as only just had wood burning stove installed in our new house. Will definitely be ordering again when we eventually need more logs. Wood burns brilliantly. Thank you”

“I have now had 3 loads over the last two years and find that the kiln dried logs are cut with no further work required. cheaper wet /non dried logs offer poorer value due to the energy used in expelling water. The pallet wood is great for kindling and the bags are great for delivery in the winter when they can be left outside.”

“We have been having wood from you for years.We find wood is great to burn with no large pieces we cant get in our multi burner. It also doesnt clog the chimney up so is very easy to clean no sticky tar deposits which we have had from other places.”
