“The website was wrong so they didn't have all the stuff I'd ordered. Then the delivery company only delivered part of the order. However, despite all this they were good to deal with, sorted the problems out, and the product was good. I would use them again.”

“JUMBO CRATE OF KILN DRIED LOGS; fantastic quality of wood, beautifully stacked, good price when bought on special offer. The reason for 4* instead of 5* is the delivery. I had clearly stated I needed to know when this delivery was going to arrive as I needed to make sure there was going to be a strong man in the house to help. It turned up unannounced. We have easy access, the trouble is the ever so slight slope to pull the crate onto our premises and there is NO way one driver can do this. Luckily (for the driver and me!) a strong man happened to pass and he kindly helped!”

“No problem with the product. No problem with the delivery - except the pallet. The pallet is of very 'thin' timber and virtually collapses when being 'trolleyed' off the lorry. Makes the task very difficult for the driver.”

“All arrived as scheduled and stacked away. The wood looks very good with some softer bits in the middle of the crate but a god effort all round.”

“This is the second time I have bought firewood from The Luxury Wood Company and like last time, the quality of wood is fantastic !! However, delivery was a big let down. I had two pallets delivered but one was accidentally dropped off the back of the truck, which smashed the crate and spewed wood all over my drive. The driver was embarrassed and said the truck was too small for the load. It meant I had to urgently set time aside to clean up the mess.”

“Prompt delivery, good quality pellets, I tend to buy on price, but happy with latest batch of Latvian EN1 pellets, burn well, bags good quality, hauliers never ring so taking a chance of someone not being present.”

“pellets are excellent for biomass boiler unfortunately delivery is shocking two days after we were supposed to get delivery still not arrived going into third day will not answer the phone when I try to find out whats going on you should seriously look at changing who delivers your product”

“Bark mulch very good, delivery on time - but was difficult to unload. 2 of us had to handle the cu.m bag off the trailer, spilling half of it! Could have done with some sort of lifting equip.”

“This was our first purchase from this company and having three wood burners a good supply of wood is essential. Wood is excellent. Had to wait slightly longer for delivery of wood as purchased out of so called season so that brought our overall rating down to good rather than excellent.”

“This is wonderful wood, really carefully seasoned and dried and cut.. Thank you. The only thing we're going to have to get used to is the delivery - it would be great to have a more precise time as we need to bring it into the house straight away and it takes a while.”

“The product has always been very good but the last delivery driver damaged my 5 bar gate post by trying to be more helpful when I was not at home. Normally my loads are left just inside my gateway but on the last occasion the driver attempted to reverse up my drive to make it easier for us and clobbered a gate post with his vehicle. These things happen and it will not put me off purchasing from you in the near future. Jack Asquith”

“My first order was for netted kiln dried wood which arrived promptly though for some reason the haulier split the consignment and half went back to The Luxury Wood Company. The problem was resolved really promptly. My second order was spot on. The wood quality is excellent - it's dry and burns really well. In future I'll be ordering logs in nets because they are so convenient to handle and are very stable when stacking and have virtually no mess. I will use The Luxury Wood Company again and have recommended friends and family to do the same.”

“The quality of the firewood itself seems pretty good. Delivery was timely, easy to organise. However the delivery driver took it to the wrong property, when I rang to tell him this I was then engaged in what can only be described as a surreal experience as he insisted the wood was at the right house, that I must therefore be wrong. You might think the homeowner would know which house they live at, but apparently this is up for debate. Fortunately after a couple of calls he was sent back to pick it up and move it again before my neighbour came back to find a giant stack of firewood on her drive. There does seem to be waste though. I have no need of a huge bag nor of a pallet. Surely these can be collected for re-use.”
