“Great product. Fair price. Would have been 5 stars but the shipping company used did not let me know when they were planning to deliver the wood. They just turned up. Redelivery arranged. Email telling me they were going to deliver turned up 4 days after delivery!”

“Delivery was efficient and the driver very friendly. Quite a good mix of sizes and the crate was well packed. The only down side was that it was expensive and some of the logs seemed to have active woodworm so no inside storage near the fire!”

Dear customer, I am afraid that the Logistics industry has been affected lately by a lot and they all struggle with driver and fuel shortages and increased volumes. This has led to severe drop in quality of the service and their customer support. I hope the industry will recover soon and will go back to their previous standards. LWC Team

“On the day of delivery the driver was extremely unhelpful. He requested assistance on taking the load from his truck. As the only person in the house at that time was a young woman working from home. She explained she was on a call but that didn’t go down well with the driver. She asked if he required assistance on previous load deliveries to other customers and was a bit vague in his answer. I can’t understand this as previous companies we have ordered wood from we’re all trouble free and would go to any length to accommodate the customer. If this was one of your regular drivers then I will not be using your company again. Sorry can’t be a bit more positive but it was not a nice experience. Regards Brian Walker”

“The wood is great, dry and well stacked. This is a repeat purchase. However their communication lets them down badly. We got no notification that the order had been despatched, and a message from the delivery company to say they were on the way arrived AFTER the delivery. As a result we weren't prepared for its arrival. Every other company I order from has an automated email and usually SMS as well to say that your order has been despatched. It's a shame because it made the whole delivery very stressful.”

Dear customer, Pallex offers the same text message and email notification service however it is new and apparently not perfect. All of the problems within the Logistics Industry have led to severe drop in quality of the service and their customer support. “Great logs have the same ones every year, but I must say its almost impossible to ring and order over the phone Nobody answered my call three days I tried and I even left my number for a call back but to no avail so I had to order on line and pay on line which I really don't like doing. Anyway apart from ordering difficulties the logs are perfect.”
