“i bought the oak logs but there is to much thin rubbish and not enough logs. the ash logs were better”

“Ordered a wood store on the 11th December still not received it although it says delivery will be 3 to 5 days on web site, very disappointed. Still waiting”

Dear Sheila, We apologise deeply for the delay. Our log stores are hand crafted and indeed take longer than any of our fuel products which we have in stock. A member of our staff should have already contacted you to assist with arranging your delivery.

“I have ordered kiln dried logs on three occasions and every time the service has been very good. The forwarding company always call before delivering to make sure the delivery day is suitable for both parties. I will be ordering again in the future.”

“Always very good quality with the logs all of the sizes and quality quoted. The email updates were good and the direct contact from the delivery company works for me. They delivered the pallet and transported it into my garage for me - excellent service. I have tried other companies who always seem to have much larger logs of a poorer quality at the bottom of the pile on the pallet -.this doesn't appear to happen with this company which is excellent. Thanks and you can expect a follow up order for me.”

“Update 04/01/2017: Since the review below, the Luxury Wood Company have addressed the issue with the delivery company. Because of this good customer service I intend to reorder from them in the future and would recommend them. Original Review: I ordered a ton of eco logs which themselves were fine. However the delivery firm were unable to unload the logs from the lorry as there was only a single driver and he could not budge the pallet in the van. Luckily my daughter's boyfriend happened to be here and he just managed to move them with the driver. Next time he won't be here so I see no way that I can put in a repeat order if the delivery firm can't unload the pallet. Also, he could have very well injured his back.”

“I found dealing with your company and the delivery service good however, I am disappointed with the eco logs as they are very messy, swell to twice their original size in the wood burner which alarmed me somewhat and do not last very long. On average I am burning 20kg per day”

Dear Anthony it sounds like you are overloading your wood burner. All heat logs swell and for this reason we encourage people to put just one or two logs in at a time. 20kg (two packets) is not excessive for keeping a stove burning daily but you will use less if you only load one or two at a time.

“Happy with the price. Delivery was great with good communication throughout. The crate was sufficiently packaged. Only one thing to note. The logs were cut perfect length, but split a bit too small, some logs I could have used for kindling!”

“Very quick delivery by courteous helpful driver. Quality of wood as good as usual but contained far more than normal very small pieces, however not a problem as used them for kindling. Overall very good will use again.”

“Went for oak dried logs as was told they burnt slower which may well have been true were it not for the fact that for the third time the delivery of a full crate was essentially mostly twigs. I will be looking at other companies now as if you can't get the size of logs right you ought not to be in business. Shame really.”

“Appoint made for the first delivery date. Waited in all day. Nothing. Next appointment made after my phone call. Waited inconveniently all day. Nothing. Told that compensation would be forthcoming. Nothing. Delivery made supposedly before 12.00 on the third delivery date but eventually arrived around 2 pm. What are you going to do about this appalling service? I was recommended by a friend who is most embarrassed by the service.”
