“these heat logs expanded far to much for my liking, I have had to break them into three parts I prefer a log that stays in one part, as a purchased last year from a different supplier, they do burn ok.”

Hi David - the ECO BRIQUETTES are very dry and because of that they will expand. We advise people to break them in two, and never put more than two logs in a stove. They will burn very hot as well.

“The delivery company didn't contact me before they made the delivery, and left a pallet of logs on my drive. I had to remove all of the woood piece by piece and put it in my garage. No longer being on the pallet it's snow takes up a lot more space than the pallet would.”

Hi James, the delivery company should ALWAYS contact you prior to delivery - if they turn up unannounced you are within your right to refuse delivery (and have them come back on a suitable day which you agree). We will be looking into this case.

“Excellent service. Well packaged. Driver was very helpful although an hour late delivering the pallet which in turn made me 2hrs late for work. Still good value and would recommend to any potential customers.”

“product was as described and well packed. We were promised a call to arrange delivery but instead courier turned up without warning. Courier had not been passed our phone number so were unable to call.”

“Normally good products and service but this time the quality of the oak logs I bought was poor and not as depicted on the website. Many smaller branches and offcuts. Offered £20 off next order.”

“Happy with the quantity and moisture content of the wood ( average approx 9% ). If prices remain competitive then I'll happily shop again. Delivery company failed on first attemp to deliver as driver turned up without pallet trolley. Hence he couldn't get my order off his truck. They delivered the following day with a sincere apology.”

“Kiln dried ash delivered promptly and efficiently by local delivery service, and logs burn well - have been using them for nearly one month now. Would recommend luxurywood to anyone with a woodburner.”

“The logs supplied this time, and the first time, were excellent - just the right size for our woodburner. Unfortunately the time before many of the logs were too large and we had to cut them. They are beautifully dry and because they are kiln dried there are no hatching woodworm!!! which we have had in the past with seasoned ash.”

“We have been regular customers with L W for sometime now, having ordered kiln dried ash, bagged ash in large crates and large pallet of peat .The wood has always been well dried and ready for use. Our last order was a large crate of kiln dried oak. This was extremely well dried, below 10%( well pleased). We live out in the sticks , but have never had any problems with the local carriers, infact they have gone out of their way to put the wood where we want it. The price for the wood/peat is really very reasonable and the service from L W has also been good. Pity that we now have to pay to the cost of delivery. That's life I suppose.”

“I ordered 50 nets of ash. Nets all evenly packed and manageable. Ash burns cleanly, hotter and more slowly than cheaper alternatives.”

“Quality log properly dry .they burn well and the stove work better.i have been using many different company buying always 3 pallets per year ,I was buying briquette because very dry and good output but real wood look better when burning .one advice would be to try to have log more uniform some are maye to small and I like personally the one a bit more chunky.i will recommend your company if someone wants quality logs.”
