“I cannot fault the kiln dried Ash firewood supplied in easy to handle netting bags HOWEVER have found the delivery of the wood to be unacceptable. The delivery company refused to drive down the unadopted lane to my garage and back gate. The driver then left the pallet on my neighbours driveway and I had to use a wheelbarrow to move the bags to my garage. I cannot understand their reluctance as the lane is used by council refuse trucks and skip lorries all the time. Perhaps you can take it up with the carrier and make quite clear the delivery needs to be to the back gate or I will not accept the order. R.N.Enraght-Moony”

“Good company to deal with, prices vary, and I do shop around, but all the Firewood is good quality and the extra large crate is very good. No problem with delivery, the only thing this time was not knowing when it was due to arrive. Hence 4 stars rather than 5 . I enquired by email after 3 days and it arrived within the next 4 days after that.”

“Logs were packed so tightly I had difficulty in getting the first few out - so quantity supplied was impressive! Delivery driver was extremely helpful and pleasant (unlike the delivery driver a couple of years ago) The quality of the oak supplied is excellent too and burns well.”

“The wood quality is excellent and we have ordered maybe 7 or 8 times. However the delivery service is a problem for us as they often drop the pallet on the entrance to our drive right next to the road when it could have been put closer to the house( it’s a big driveway) . It is very vulnerable to being stolen and therefore we have sometimes been wheel barrowing wood to a safe place at midnight.”

“I was impressed with the manner of delivery although a bit delayed. The stack was well crafted and bone dry assisted by the excellent waterproof wrapping. The burn in the wood stove is excellent and very efficient.”

“It's our 2nd delivery from the luxury wood co. , I was out when they were delivered and didn't manage to pick up their call, but they were in the right place when I arrived home. Also very pleased with how they are packed and weather protected, to be honest I haven't bothered to move them to my log stack as they are tidy and dry where they are.”

“Great product (we buy the kiln dried Ash logs) and the price is always at or below market. The only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is there has always been a complication of one kind or another with the pallet delivery company.”

“Product looks okay, bit too soon to fully comment on the product. However, yet again problems with the storage and transportation of the pallet. This time it was the top of the pallet. It had been damaged and the top weather protection plastic sheet had been ripped along with one 15kg bags of pellets had been totally exposed. Fortunately, we received the pallet and it was placed under cover; had it not been left under cover and it had rained at least one 15kg of pellets would have been ruined. Logistics companies still have a lot to improve upon.”

“Second delivery of Logs from here! Just a bit disappointed with this delivery as didn’t get a Phonecall advising when they were arriving and also Pallet packaging damaged and Logs disturbed! Overall the Logs are very good quality and will probably order again!”

“Luxury wood were a very good company to deal with, fast delivery, decent communication and the delivery driver was excellent and accommodating. I think a little more notice of delivery day would be the only improvement I could make, but then again I am notoriously bad at answering the phone.”

“The ordering and delivery brilliant as ever even in these difficult times. The only thing we noticed this time was we had a lot of smaller logs in amongst the load. They are ok to start the burner off, but not as good for long burn. We are continually having to replenish the fire. Overall though very happy.”
