“Nice polite delivery as always. We were surprised to see the crate was smaller than usual ( 100kg ) but dearer. After using your company for some years we may have to look around whereas before we'd just use you . Thanks.”

“After a small delivery issue the pallet was delivered right where was convenient. Pallet size is good and logs are stacked so no gaps. Logs all cut to same size now I have to unpack when my log store is finished. Happy days.”

“After looking at different suppliers we got a good price. The delivery charge was reasonable too, cheaper than other suppliers. Delivery was completed and the driver messaged me prior to delivery and instructions given and followed. The oak sleepers look good.”

“I have been a customer of Luxurywood for a few years now. Their delivery service is excellent. However, I've noticed the crate sizes are getting smaller, yet the price remains the same or marginally higher. my neighbours all obtain their logs from local suppliers and whilst not in crates they have them tipped onto their driveway. Due to my last Luxurywood delivery being disappointing in its size, I will be shopping elsewhere for my logs.”

Dear David, We have stopped the Giant crates for Health and Safety reasons and are very clear on the new size and dimensions we offer at the moment - the full crates are approx 2 m3 loose volume where the giant ones were 2.4 m3 loose. Sadly we have no control over the raising firewood prices although we do our best to maintain them as low as possible. LWC

“Bought 14 Oak planks, they looked good but on closer inspection had a lot of sapwood. Agreed to collect and refund 6 planks I deemed to be unusable, but I don’t think they really understood my complaint. Unfortunately will not purchase from them again, they describe themselves as luxury wood company, but don’t seem to understand the difference between usable and unusable oak”

“Ordered a 2sq M crate of Alder, wood was as expected dry, well packed and wrapped and from the sample I have burnt so far excellent condition with good heat and medium time burning. Only thing I would mention would be the poor service by the delivery company who had me waiting for them most of the day on two occasions only not to turn up with lame excuses.”
