Worst experience, ordered my item 4 working days before mother’s day and was assured it would come in time. It arrived the following week. The personalised item was double up and charged for twice and I wasn’t sent any confirmation or delivery emails, upon recieving my item (LATE) and 2 of each I called to query and was spoken to very rudely and unapologetic and was told categorically that it was my problem. STAY AWAY!

Do not use!!!!! Received an engraved clock from them with letters missing. The message was fine when I put the order through and they couldn’t have been any less helpful. Called to get advice about what could be done and was basically called a liar and told it was my fault and I was stuck with it! Terrible customer service

Hi David - I am sorry you are not happy. I have checked the order you placed and the preview you saw at the time of placing the order is what gets engraved as we have an automated system. You would have also received a confirmation email which should be checked. Also any staff caught calling a customer a liar would be sacked. We have an open office so manager can here all conversations.

Recently ordered something from the gift experience for Mother’s Day. Sadly instead of sending me what I ordered in 2019, they re-sent me my 2018 order - so that was a massive disappointment

Ordered something intending it to be a meaningful gift for someone very close to me, when it didn't arrive I attempted to contact the company a couple of times by email. No response to any of these, would have expected at least an explanation, or an apology and an offer to return my money. Resulted in having to raise a PayPal dispute. Obviously very poor customer service, would definitely advise to steer clear.

Awful ! Poor quality, damaged products, poor packaging, incorrect date printed on cushion. Still waiting for refund 2 weeks later. Will never use again.

My gift was dispatched to Republic of Ireland 15 days ago by Airmail, still hasn’t arrived. To be fair they do warn on the website when ordering that there can be problems with the link up between Royal Mail and the Rep of Ireland Postal system.

I bought a gift (i love you to pieces personalised necklace) for valentines day for my partner, the item itself was ok but was missing the card that should have come with it. Considering its advertised as a unique gift experience, to be missing this card it ruined me and my partners experience. I contacted not to complain, but to make them aware of this, but have had no response. I would have been happy to accept an apology for the mistake, hence customer service here has been sadly lacking. This review is solely for the lack of customer service, and is not a reflection on the gift itself. Had everything been there the review would have been a 5. Had they redeemed themselves with an apology a 4. Their customer service is non existent, hence they receive the lowest possible score, a 1. They have lost my custom, Iwont be buying from the gift experience again.

Engraved cone crystal vase is very disappointing. Engraving is hardly visible and not as sharp as shown in the advertised image. Response was too pathetic and so will put my money where my mouth is and go elsewhere in future

I ordered 2 items one being a card and one was a personalised candle i received the card but didnt recieve the candle. I tried to contact customer service but they said it has been delivered and signed for but how can a card be signed for nothing was signed for on that day as well the card was posted through the letterbox

Ordered my personalised product, sent to me on time (1 star) but it was incorrectly personalised. Have sent 2 emails with no response. £20 lost. I will never use gift experience again.

I ordered a Liverpool mug with the picture of Liverpool jerseys on the side. The idea was that you selected a jersey number and submitted the name you wanted printed on that jersey. The mug arrived in pieces!! - No bubblewrap etc to protect it. I notified the Gift Experience and they said they would send out another one. The second mug did arrive intact (allbeit with no protective packaging). However I had expected to see the row of jerseys e.g. numbers 8 -12 with my chosen name printed on number 10 as requested. Instead I see the various jersey numbers and two number 10's. One for the name I had submitted and the other was the regular number 10 player for Liverpool (Mane). What is the point of that!!. How many football teams have two of the same jersey number with different names on it. Surely you would think the regular number 10 name would be replaced with the name you had submitted and the next number would be 11 and so on. Very disappointed with the outcome and the misleading advertising. Not good marketing gift experience!!!!!!!

Unfortunately my review is a very disappointing one as I ordered a personalized gift for my Grandaughter for her 1st Birthday and to this day that gift has not arrived. So my experience with the gift experience is extremely bad and as a result of this i would be very reluctant to order from your site again. Noreen Reynolds

We sent champagne our sister in Nottingham the order was completely messed up this was a gift but the invoice was sent to the recipients instead of the sender the message was from Vonda and Sam to Vonda and Sam Instead of Barry and Anna to Vonda and Sam Not only that they have been receiving emails from your company which they do not want. Rubbish customer service. Made an order had a dispatched email and TWO days later an email to say they didn’t actually have any stock and I was refunded?! Said I’d had an email to say it was in its way! No explanation. AVOID

Needed a present for Christmas, paid extra to delivered on 24th Dec but didn't arrive till 28thDec. when contacted told the company was closed for Christmas from 21st and only opened on 27th. Nothing on their website stating this and they refused to refund my next day delivery money.

Paid for next day delivery, item didn’t arrive for 8 days, when I asked for a refund I was told items to arrive before Christmas should be ordered before 17th (I ordered after) so I was unsure why I was able to select next day delivery, I believe this was misleading however as they sent me two of my item by mistake I will just call it even :-) won’t be buying again.
