Shocking. Ordered the 4* overnight theatre package for a 70th birthday present for my mother. Terrible communication, having to chase up constantly for tickets. Poor quality hotel (which was then cancelled on the day with no suitable alternative offered) and the cheapest tickets for the show available. In the end we arranged everything ourselves for approximately the same price. Still waiting to the refund but wouldn’t go near this company again.

My gift never arrived! I even paid extra for ‘next day delivery’ but it didn’t even arrive… in fact I’m still waiting and that was 2 weeks ago! It’s a shame as it was a surprise gift for my partners 40th birthday.

I will never buy from this company again. I ordered a personalised cushion for our daughter and her husband for their anniversary. I ordered it on 16th August, the money was taken from my account on 20th. Their anniversary was 27th. Today is 28th and still no sign of the cushion. I am very upset and disappointed as this was a special anniversary. When I rang the company they were of no help at all. The delivery information states it will be despatched within 1 to 3 working days!

Pleat note that the item has not been received by recipient.they phoned me today to say that they haven't yet received it could you please look into it and let me know if and where this was delivered.

Despite contacting the customer service team, I still haven’t received my item. This was ordered on 17.7.25 and reordered on 5.8.25. I explained this was for a 50th birthday - but no fast track delivery was offered. And I still haven’t received the order. I will not be using this site again

Took longer than the website suggested. Customer service a complete waste of time no help whatsoever. After my 3rd day of calling for an update the line became unavailable. No response at all from the contact us form. I hoped it would have a presentation box but arrived in a battered cardboard box just wrapped in bubble wrap. I am amazed it's not broken.

Personalised tea light holder Writing was not straight. Customer service were rubbish. I had to send it back at my expense for a refund when all they will do is throw it away! Terrible service. Will not be using them again.

The board was printed back to front. I complained & sent photos, but they have told me that I have to send it back to them for a refund.. The catch is... AT MY EXPENSE!!!.. JUST BEWARE

The gift personalization was wrong took awhile to get any resolution I am still waiting for the replacement item .It was a birthday gift for April would not use this company again.

I ordered a front paper print on Wednesday 30th April on Thutsday 1st May I contacted your customer service ro say I had put on the wrong date and asked if I could change the date from the 7thmay to the 9th may was told it had been processed and would ne out for delivery but was not delivered until the 9th May does not take over a week for delivery.I dont thinlk customer service even bothered to contabt dispatch to see if it had been sent.No help at all.I was in tears abd was told to send it back when it was received.Surely it was not all done in less than 24hours,Customers keep these people in a job.Need more training.Was told to return it saying wrong date.Im sure it could have been altered as I said you were contacted within 24hours.Had to go out and purchase somethin else as it was for an 80th birthday if I could it would be nil stars

Very bad experience with The Gift Experience. They sub contract the experiences out to a hotel group called OMG (check out the awful reviews on Trust Pilot). We never got to have our experience (the day it was booked for the experience the experience wasn't even open). We have tried phone calls & e-mails to get our money returned, to no avail. I will certainly never be using this web site again.

Clock was not working and nut on the end of the winder fell off when trying to move the hands to the correct time. I have already emailed to complain and ask for a label to be sent so that I can return the clock. It is a personalised gift and is required for 24th May

Bought a voucher for vineyard and half the places wouldn’t take the voucher. Ended up giving the money on top of the voucher, total waste of money. Also no person or number to contact to resolve. Won’t ever bother again
