Too many emails Total overkill One a month is enough

It did not. I applied as a new customer expecting the 20% discount offered. I was sent the Welcome code and applied it witin 5 minutes of its arrival. I received an immediate repsonse saying that this code was invalid as it was out of date! This was not a good introduction to the Fish Society and I shall warn my friends against it.

Good morning The 20% discount code for new customers is applicable on orders of £60 or more so unfortunately your first order didn't meet the criteria. Or unhappy. The fish is fine, but the delivery was poor. The big parcel was left at Mr Thompson's door, only several feet from the road, in plain view. No doorbell ring or knock. Mr Thompson was home but only learned the fish had arrived because a neighbour alerted him. I provided his phone number, so he could have been contacted. I assumed he would have been contacted anyway, since the product is perishable. Please instruct your deliverers to use some common sense! Carole Colsell

Unfortunately not a great experience as a first time customer. Ordered caviar for next day delivery prior to the cut off time. It appears from the tracking that it was dispatched on time but it was delivered a day late. Not great for a refrigerated product. I emailed right away to see if the product was suitable for consumption. But only got a response 4 days later.

Good quality products, but 2-3 marketing emails per day was complete overkill

It didn't .... And, I'm sick to death of your emails blitzes. Have tried opting out of your email traffic, but I'm being ignored. I also note other customers feel the same way.

Apart from the Lobster Bisque and the Gravadlax Smoked Salmon, I was very disappointed and will certainly never again order through this company. It is too watery and tasteless, and next time, I will double my budget with another company. It was meant to be celebrating a special time and sadly, we needed up ordering from Deliveroo. The delivery company delivered my order to an incorrect address. I spoke with them and they promised to contact the driver and instruct him to retrieve the order and deliver it to my address. I heard nothing back from them. I also contacted your customer service team and was promised that the delivery company would be contacted to ensure the package was delivered to me. I did not hear anything further from you. Luckily for me the owner of the property of where my order was delivered (just left on their doorstep) kindly bought the package to me. In the circumstances I believe the least you can do is refund the delivery charge. Very disappointed with the service and lack of communication once the problem was relayed to you.

I was UNhappy on the whole it was very overpriced for what I was sent, a pity as we were so looking forward to it and have had better from you previously. You need to smarten up and make sure that people get what it looks like when they order.

the package was a day late again, on order you said next day, then when day was nearly over it had changed to the next day, the parcel was due to be delivered around 5/6, i kept checking my e-mails as i had problems with the last order, I waited and kept checking.... then a delivery confirmed e- mail arrived, the driver hadn't even rang my apartment to say it was here, instead he just dumped it at the foyer door, where anyone could see it and he drove off. As I stated last time I am disabled and in a wheelchair, so I had to go down to the foyer in my wheelchair and attempt to carry it back to my department, there is a board in the foyer with clear instructions to ring the apartment number and I would answer, and as it stated on the order DELIVER to apartment 52. i checked the package immediately with it being a day later than it was due, most of it was still frozen but the smoked salmon and a packet of the crab claws were completely defrosted, and I wasn't going to re-freeze those, so I had to give them away, they were supposed to be for my family over the Christmas period, so I let them down and felt awful about it. So the last two orders were not delivered on the day specified, but the following day, the first delivery the driver had been very rude to the reception staff, and when I rang you to inform you I was told it6 was nothing to do with you, it was the courier, my order was placed with you therefore my contract was with you, not the firm you chose to deliver your orders. I did e-mail you the very next day, but did not get a response, so I have replied to this e-mail you sent me hoping maybe this time I will get one. Despite a delivery email and clear instructions… the courier left parcel in the wheelie bin on the main road in driveway. Despite instructions to ‘be patient, knock loudly’ … I gave my parents a time slot and they were sat in waiting for delivery! This was an expensive box as a Christmas treat for them. It wasn’t up to your advertising standards. Disappointed!…not only with delivery care but the quality of the dressed crab, didn’t taste or look great… they have yet to give me feedback on the rest. I’m not sure I will be ordering for a third time.
