“The mussels were awful, they looked no better than scraped from the rocks. They were tasteless or even worse, the second bag will go in the bin or to see if the birds are interested.I So much for Bantry Bay, I had such hopes a delicious meal that I ordered 2 kg”

“Absolutely terrible! I am a private chef and I ordered the fish to be delivered on a very specific date - it was delayed (despite paying £26 for delivery) and so didn’t arrive at the house I was working at until I had been abd gone making it a complete nightmare situation for me. Adding to this - the fish society refused to give me any refund. Absolutely shocking customer service (AI). You have lost a regular customer today.”

“Ordered the Seafood Broil for Christmas Eve 2025 which was brilliant - a hit with all our guests. Based on this I immediately ordered another for my husbands birthday on 30th January to share with friends who couldn't attend at Christmas. All fine, payment taken - everyone looking forward to it. 10am today (29th - day before the party) I get a call to say they're sorry but they are out of stock!! No alternatives offered just "sorry" - and advised it will take 48 hours to refund. Why take payment for something that's out of stock? Oh - apparently it was in stock when I ordered. This stuff is frozen so if it was in stock when I ordered it why wasn't it in stock to post out when I needed it? They've really ruined our plans for a cock-up on their part and rather than admit it they've blamed their suppliers. Don't buy from them if you're wanting anything for a particular event - or at least have a Plan B. Other than that - it's ok, everything is frozen but nice enough. In future I'll shop locally for fresh”

“Excellent products - the crab was very tasty. Didnt give 5 stars just because two of the crab legs had snapped. It did seem well packaged and the majority of the crab was fine, so not a big problem.”

“The most of times, not always, frozen stuff was half or almost defrosted. Therefore I buy a stuff just before I need. You have many nice seafood but frozen stuff is not frozened. That's ashamed.”

“Our experienced is mixed so far. The prawns, mahi-mahi,and monkfish were all very good. The real problem was the poulard clams. I could not go them to open naturally so had to throw them away not eaten.”
