“The " cod' in batter I've been sent is very disappointing. A thin sliver of fish between two oily layers of batter. It does not brown as claimed. The amount of fish is a disgrace at £6 each. I had a good opinion of the Fish society but not now ps nothing like the web pictures”

“First purchase with this company and I was very impressed with the help and service when ordering to delivery and the freshness of the fish was amazing. I decided to use one of the helpful recipe guides on website to cook a birthday meal, Dover Sole with clams! It was delicious and honestly the best thing ive ever cooked. The recipe was very easy to follow and I couldn't believe the results, I made it!!! As I have disabilities with my upper arms, I decided to adapt the recipe slightly and made a cream sauce and I added capers, I also cooked the fish entirely on a low heat on the gas not in the oven to help with my disability. I've added a picture so you can see my results, if I can do it, so can you. Great experience from ordering with questions to every tasty morsel of food, I'm actually sad the meal is over and it's a couple of days later, it really was that good! Thank you for all your help.”

“This company is amazing. I've ordered for the first time and I'm very happy with the quality of the products. Was some slight misunderstanding with the delivery company, but has been sorted out for me very quick. I can recommend. My doctor recommend cod liver and it's so delicious 😋 Thank you!”

“Great service but poor quality product. Would not use again unfortunately. Skate was nearly inedible and salmon and bream lacked flavour. Will stick to fresh fish from now on”

“I'm so glad I found The Fish Society for my purchases of fish, prawns and scallops. From the well presented web site which is easy to navigate, information on delivery slots which is important to me and the packaged order arriving safely to put into the freezer. I've found a few recipes too. All in all a great result.”
