An excellant product, good value for money and well packaged but totally let down by the courier. I was fortunately in the kitchen at the time and saw the courier 'deliver' the package, he got out of his vehicle and threw the package over the garden gate onto my gravel path, he then got back into his vehicle and drove off. He made no attempt to alert me of the delivery and as it was a hot sunny day had I not seen the 'delivery' the product (frozen fish) would have been ruined. I complained to the courier company (DPD) who emailed me a photo of the package on my drive and said it had been delivered to a safe place your gravel drive.

Products great, correct order delivery and items being delivered on time very poor. Customer service seemed not bothered in providing an r platoon of what went wrong, felt I was inconvenience, for complaining

I ordered clams as part of the order - the order arrived around 5ish and the clams were put straight into the freezer. The croquetas felt slightly soft - these have been frozen and not yet eaten. The clams were prepared the following day and not one of them opened when cooked - was really disappointed. The halibut was prepared as part of the same meal and was fine. Just disappointed with the clams - feel that possibly delivered too late

The dispatch and delivery were prompt and impressive. There was no catalogue as shown in the promotional video. The fish was bland and unexciting. Small in size, more so than expected. I keep receiving marketing emails, sometimes two per day. This is the second survey I have received from you in two days. This after managing preferences so that I get one email per week. I have since unsubscribed due to an email getting through a little while later. I thought it was instant these days with advanced technology. Now this one has arrived.

Very small for the cost, DPD left in the wrong place in full sunlight and the pack of dry ice had split so the lobster was only just cold. I complained but was told this was all okay…..? Won’t use again, and i had planned to order for a big birrhday coming up and Christmas.

The Salmon was not useable for me I need dinner party shapes I received mis-shapen and broken up pieces. I should have stayed with tesco they are £16.06 a KG you charged £26.42.

I used the Fish Society for the first time because there was a nice offer for Lobster. I made up the order with Prawns and Dusted Plaice fillets to get free delivery. However, the Lobsters were unavailable and had I been notified in time I would have cancelled the order as didn’t really need the other items. Also, there was a slight defrosting in the packaging which did concern me. I am a bit disappointed with the service, but I might give them another go.

The fishing superb but the delivery service was terrible wr live on a main rd I was taken into hospital so I called my neighbour to say can you look out for my order.we have a doorbell photo & it shows your delivery driver just throws the boxes on the doorstep & walk off it says in the porch way it's a step which is onto the public pavement anyone could have pinched that luckily for me we managed to contact our neighbour who took it in.This is a frozen product & could have been defrosted sitting on a step.so your delivery driver did exactly the sane in Milton Keynes. It's a shame but we probably won't order again do that's 2 new customers you have lost Neil heath

They didnt, I asked about thawed fish and the reason I have to re-freeze it since the fish will be mushy and flavourless, dry once defrosted the second time.

I thought the fish was pretty poor quality to be honest. I know it is off-cuts, but it didn’t feel very fresh at all

The pack arrived on time but the tails had started to melt. One was in a polythene bag that was not sealed which I thought was not good from a hygiene perspective

I am a previous customer and was disappointed with how my order was handled from the outset The level of updates on delivery were less than usual and deliver date was 24 hours after I had specified All items although gold were all defrosted, and whilst I understand this may be “acceptable” it’s not what I ordered or expected . Your delivery company was not great. And on calling I was given a pretty poor response. A shame as I can get mediocre fish from the supermarket so not sure you’re offering anything better.

Disappointingly, even though I added a note requesting extra ice packs (because previous orders did not contain enough), the entire delivery arrived defrosted because there were only two ice packs. Especially for larger orders, there need to be more ice packs placed in the box to ensure the fish remains frozen.
