Hi David, are you sure? We're a price comparison website, we don't sell you the insurance we just show you the quotes that insurers provide based on the information you gave to us.

Very poor service. I was quoted a vastly increased premium. I got an alternative quote, same insurance company significantly less. Bike Insurance wouldn’t consider getting any closer.

Very poor communication, not listening to information given to your staff and not filling out correct information even when given to. Strongly advise retraining!

took payment twice with repeat subscription after no permission given for that, took along time to get refund with very difficult salesman on phone, never use again.

However, as The Bike Insurer is simply a provider of insurance quotations, we do not take payments from customers so we think your grievance is with the insurance broker with whom you took out your initial policy and not with The Bike Insurer. Terrible comparison site every quote i got was at least a hundred pound dearer when I tried to buy insurance

Thanks for feeding back Michael. There shouldn't be any difference between the basic policy price we show you and the basic policy price that the insurer charges. If you choose added extras obviously the price changes, or if you leave it a long time between getting the quote and buying the policy the price may change and the insurance market is dynamic. Hi Lee. The Bike Insurer cannot cancel insurance policies because we are a price comparison website and don't issue insurance policies. If you have experienced a problem with the insurance broker that you chose, you should contact them directly.

Policy was fine until attempting to cancel the policy due to sale of the bike. Then it took a lot of going back and forth to get them to actually cancel it and this was then followed by a ridiculously high final payment. I have no issue paying a cancellation fee but it’s everything else they try to throw in. Legal advice being sought

Poor system. Details can't be changed easily? Driving date passed? Couldn't change at all before purchasing. Not a sinple process.. Had no option other than to pay. For the insurance then ring up and change. Costing more... What else is the issue. They are now tracking every search you even put in. Then the insurer questions you about your searches... which interrogation doesn't start a relationship very well.... if I want to ride my bike to work or not depends on the price... so if it's reasonable il insure to ride to work. If not. It will be used as a toy. I pay to insure my vehicle. That is your job Not to interigate.

The only reason I gave it a 1 was because a nought or preferably the facility for a minus figure was not available. You clearly haven't received or have igbnored my earlier review.

I am not happy with you, I paid 155 pounds for 2 days and I cancelled the insurance and I have not received any money back...

Hi Tudor, thanks for your review. The Bike Insurer is not Carole Nash and we don't charge you to use our website when you get quotes from us. If you have cancelled your policy with Carole Nash then you need to contact them directly about your refund. If we can help further, then contact us at customer.services@vastvisibility.co.uk

Got told I couldn’t get a better offer on my insurance so went ahead with it had look online found it massively cheaper. So sorted the much cheaper one out. To find out it was same company you guys then charge me £60 to cancel old one. Taking money off people for no reason so don’t sen me a message saying your trying to save me money because your not you have robbed me. Disgusting

Hi Gareth. Sorry to hear you're not happy. However, The Bike Insurer doesn't issue its own insurance policies, we just show you quotes and prices from insurance brokers. To be clear, The Bike Insurer hasn't charged you £60, this would be a cancellation fee charged by the insurer that you initially chose to purchase the insurance from.

Paid £144 then unfortunately I’ve found I can’t ride the bike and so cancelled and you would give me the enormous sum of £25 back so I’ve told all my biker mates not to bother with your insurance company

I’d like to speak to someone please as I was left last week when my bike broke down I was told when I got dropped off at sevises I wouldn’t be waiting long and yet I was on my own from before 11pm at night till 7.30am next day on my own very scared and upset

After obtaining an online insurance quote, and despite always being careful to select no communication when getting quotes, I was bombarded by nuisance calls. Extremely frustrating & infuriating, I will not make the mistake of getting quotes from them again.

Disgraceful that you punish me by not offering insurance based on my legally claiming against vehicle insurances in the last 18 months. One was a car that was driven into me - not my fault. The other was a theft of my motorcycles from my locked garage Now you decide this is my fault and you punish me by refusing to wuote on a new bike. So now I can't even sell the bike that was stolen, repaired and returned to me. I have to live with the personsl abuse of horrible humsns who take my personal possession
