“The flaw with insurance companies is that the main insurance records are only held for maximum 6 years and then deleted. You are expected to keep proof of your no claims bonus indefinately ie more than 7 years to stand any chance of keeping your NCB. Even buisnesses do not hold records for longer than 7 years. It is a method of charging people more for premiums as they argue the onus is on you to prove you are max 9+ years NCB and they will not hear of it that they are to prove you HAVE NOT 9+ years NCB.”
