“The tiles I ordered are better than I imagined. Only downfall was the delivery was delayed for a while. Not through any fault of Stone Deals I understand. I spoke to Eleni and was communicated with all along. I ended up picking them up from the haulage company's warehouse as I could not wait for the delivery any longer. I have my next order in the process with you too.”

“Terrible terrible do not buy stone from here. They delivered in 2 batches and the stone was completely different. THIS WAS NOT A NATURAL VARIATION BUT Instead was COMPLETELY DIFFERENT COLOUR AND APPEARANCE. They refused to help or even acknowledge fault and did not even return our calls. Please note I have fitted natural stone flooring before and appreciate natural differences but this was completely different stone. Never buy from here.”

Hi, On the 2nd delivery (continuation) apparently the customer received darker material, customer sent us some photos before fixing, the photos were close up and we could not spot anything wrong. As we gave from the same pallet, we did not think that the colours would be different. After the tiler laid the tiles, the customer complained that the colours are not right. This time they sent photos from a distance where we can see a difference. We said no problem, we will send free tiles, even though the tiles are laid. Now customer is after more compensation which we do not agree, hence the review. We always advise our customers, if you think there is a problem, DO NOT attempt to fix the tiles. Thanks.

“The tiles arrived with a few chips and cracks on some tiles, when I spoke to the customer service they were some what helpful but would only offer to exchange the tiles if I took them to there suppliers warehouse which was 110 miles away from where I live. They would only exchange if they deemed them unusable and insisted I use them for cut.”

Dear customer, thank you for your comments. We need to correct some of the comments made here in regards to the transaction: Customer reported breakages, after confirming whether some can be used for cuts, corners, the customer requested some number of tiles for replacement. One of our colleagues lives only 10-20 miles far away so we asked if they could meet at a closer location for exchange. Then customer requested that he does not know how many tiles to replace, he wants to go through all the tiles when our colleague arrives. We said this is not possible as our colleague has not got a van. Customer then called us that the replacements will not be needed, if he needs he will come to the warehouse for exchange. We did what we could to help the customer for this transaction.

“Tiles arrived safely, securely packaged, on time and good communications from courier. My adverse comments would be, the small pallet used for delivery is not suitable for hand pallet trucks (only forklifts). I happen to be an expert on this being on the BSI & ISO Pallet Committees. This leads to unsafe handling as the only option to transport from the vehicle (if a forklift is not available as on most occasions for kerbside delivery) with a hand pallet truck by breaking the bottom slat for entry, endangering the handling procedure and potentially causing damage to the load. The other point would be the two page disclaimer if each tile is not inspected prior to sign off. Completely unmanageable but with using the wrong pallets probably necessary. Very poor packaging management ..... spoken from a 30yr professional in the subject!”
