“AVOID SELLING PHONE
Smart Cellular offered best price to trade in my phone which I thought was great but was a little sceptical with their 10% higher offer promise, but I knew the risk involved.
Firstly trying to book a free collection is impossible as email instructions were contradictory and links often lead to general pages. This looks too good to be true and was so I paid £8 to post myself on the basis that this was refundable by Smart.
So a few days passed and panic as the tracking confirmed delivery but Smart said phone was not received however it was eventually located.
Then came the offer which was more than 30% less than the initial offer, despite the screen being in pristine condition and up to 3 minor marks being permitted. Offer was made without any explanation.
By this point I had enough but the form held me to ransom and wanted return postage paid upfront Notting that they were to refund my postage for sending. Time had passed and phone still hasn't materialised and master now reported.”

“Absolute scamming scum.
Avoid at all costs.
Sold my phone, based on criteria on their grading list it ought to have been €410 if considered Pristine, €270 if considered Excellent or €195 if just good. The phone was somewhere between Pristine and Excellent at worst, no damage and in original packaging.
When they recieved the phone I was sent an email to tell me that they had regraded it and would offer me £100 (just over half the lowest advertised value). If I wanted the phone returned I would have to pay additional shipping charges and all of a sudden they don't use PayPal and wanted my bank details.
The whole thing is a con. Save yourself the hassle and take your phone to a local reseller.
Worst experience I've ever had with an online service provider.”
“Having waited weeks, the wrong phone was delivered. Weeks after returning the phone, which they signed for, I still haven't had a refund despite chasing several times. Certainly wouldn't use them again and would actively recommend against.”
