“I write this review to warn others about my experience buying from Smart Cellular (SMART CHERRY MOBILES LTD, Company No. 09036738), whose director is Yaasameen Maryam Ahmed.
Having now read the many other negative reviews, I only wish I had read them BEFORE making my purchase. That is my biggest regret.
I purchased a phone expecting delivery within 2–3 days. Around five days later, I received an email asking whether I would accept a different colour because they had one of those in stock. I declined.
This certainly gave me the impression that they had accepted my order for a phone they did not actually have available to dispatch.
Since then, I have chased and chased through numerous emails with absolutely no resolution. When I do receive a reply, it appears to be a standard response saying they are “looking into the issue” and will come back to me promptly. Nothing meaningful happens.
I wouldn’t even bother with the phone line\. In my experience, it simply diverts to an answerphone. On the one occasion I actually managed to speak to someone, I was told I would receive an email update the following day. When I asked him to confirm matters by email while I was on the phone, I was told: “I don’t have access to an email.”
Unbelievable.
I have now lost all confidence in this company and have taken the matter up with my bank to pursue recovery of my money through the Visa chargeback process.
My advice to anyone considering buying from Smart Cellular is simple: READ THE REVIEWS FIRST.

“Bought a phone, google pixel 7 with them for £130, if memory doesn't fail, the phone had the thermometer hardware physically removed or deactivated as when I run a diagnosis it show wasn't able to read temperature.
Surprise surprise, when me and my wife was o the car with the phone connected to the USB I saw smoke and told her to remove the charging cable imediatly. And the saga begun.
Got in contact with the costumer service in March and after back and forward with the phone we did everything they requested but they stopped answering emails or give money back. Their costumer service number is useless as we tried many times different days, different times of the day and the message ( when it doesn't turn down automatically ) is always "there's no one to pick up your call please".
On the main website site I tried the direct chat, as soon I mention the problem went silence.
I'm writing this and going to file a theft report with police after this and begun the process to try to force them return my money.”
“Would not recommend, I had placed an order back in June 29th didn’t even receive my order I had contacted the team about over 20 times regarding this is issue to eventually where I had to ask for a refund even after I have asked for a refund they told me it would be issued within 2-3 days and it now been a week I would definitely not recommend as the company has poor communication, delivery is not what they said it would be up to nor is the customer service or refunds”
“I ordered an iphone 13 on the 27th of June for my mother's birthday on the 2nd of July. They said I would receive it on the 1st of July, but nothing heard... I tried to call but no answer, for several days. Email reply to say that the warehouse was busy so I would receive the phone early next week, nothing heard again when my order did not come through. Received a call to offer me another colour, over a week after my mother's birthday. Asked for refund and ordered phone elsewhere which was sent the following day! 29th of July and still have not received my refund. Absolute disgrace of a company, will be reporting to Financial Ombudsman. Do not use this company!”
“I sent my iPhone based on the original quoted price, but the offer was repeatedly reduced. After refusing the revised offer, I paid for Next Day Delivery to have my phone returned.
My phone was not dispatched the next working day, and I still have no clear information about where it is.
I have also received text messages encouraging customers to leave reviews in exchange for a reward, which makes me question how representative some of the positive reviews are.
I had no choice but to report it to the police as a missing device and pursue all available legal remedies.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company.”

“I would advise that you avoid ordering anything from this company.
I ordered an iphone and and apple watch, easy enough to order and the price seemed competitive, the parcel arrived the day before the delivery date, great! and when i opened the parcel the box inside was taped up and written on the tape was ' Before opening this seal please record a video to support any claims'. Well I am so glad that I did, as when i opened it, it only had the phone inside...no watch. I immediately emailed the company to ask whether the watch was being delivered separately. I had no reply, I phoned and emailed again the next day and had no satisfactory response, checking my order online the status said order complete. I phoned and emailed a few more times and still no satisfactory response.
I initiated a Chargeback from my bank and advised the company of this via email, 3 days later Royal mail tried to deliver me a parcel from the company which i refused to accept.”
“Absolutely horrendous company to deal with. They make you a reasonable offer, once they give your phone they greatly reduce the offer then up it very, very slightly. I had to pay for it's return and it's damaged. 1 star is too generous. Avoid!!!”

I was then called and told they didn't have my phone in stock but could 'maybe' offer a differernt colour. i was promised numerous times that they would sort this out and get back to me - but nothing. I've now requested a refund - still waiting for a response.”

“Offered 1000 for my devices online then offered 400 for both so I sent proof of purchase but because it was through Apple they offered 400 then said the price moves up and down daily, refused so they offered 500 then refused and offered 630. Don’t use as the price they quote regardless if you phone meets the criteria for excellent they still under cut you massively. No one answers the phone aswell.”
“DONT BOTHER! Bought a £600 phonethat was "in as new" condition. When it arrived it had one big chip and numerous other marks. Managed to get hold of some one that said email pictures and I'll ring you back. Despite numerouse calls and emails, still no contact. Glad I purchased with my credit card. Look at the pictures if that's 'As New Condition' then stay clear of this firm”

I am still waiting for a date for delivery and I have had a ‘very sorry we have experienced a high volume of orders response’. I’ve now asked for a refund or delivery asap. I will wait and see if I get a response.”
