Worst company to sell your phone This is the worst company I have dealt with, not only in attempting to sell a phone, but overall. I sent a brand-new, sealed phone to the company. I was initially told that I had provided a false document and was later informed that the phone was on a contract. I provided the original Google invoice to demonstrate that this was not the case. The advertised price of £535 was subsequently reduced to £250 without a clear or reasonable explanation. I requested information on how to submit a formal complaint on multiple occasions, but these requests were ignored. I was also advised that my postage costs would be refunded; however, after the phone was returned to me, this refund was refused, steer well clear of them is my advice.

I purchased my phone off them mid October 25 , it was for a present in a weeks time , I was assured this would arrive, it didn’t , seems like they didn’t even have the phone to sell at that stage , I immediately cancelled my order received sluggish emails which confirmed this cancellation but a few days after along comes the phone , I requested to return it and have a refund, this request alone took 2 weeks to activate, they sent me a return label for Royal Mail, I immediately sent this back, , this was mid November 25 , they took weeks to confirm it’s safe receipt but have since done so , and I have 30 plus emails apologising for the delay in issuing my refund repeatedly saying the same despite advising them that I’m seeking legal advice etc etc , it’s 9 Jan 2026 and still waiting, please people DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

The payments are not same day after a lot of back on forth and they decided to offer me £300 less than I was quoted and way less that is quoted for my device online for even the lowest grade which my device they admitted was in amazing condition, I then got told I need to wait 3 days for payment even though on the website it clearly states 'same day', it has been nearly a week and I am still waiting for payment

Price quoted £595 and on receipt of the phone they reduced it to £150. Nothing wrong with the phone, as new condition. Furthermore out of pocket as I have to pay to send the phone to them and for the return too. I won’t recommend this company to sell or trade your device. Would have given zero star ratings, but no option to give below one star.

Wrong phone delivered, returned and Smart Cellular wouldn’t send a replacement so requested refund which all in all took about a month after several phone calls.

Save yourself the hassle and stress - AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I ordered two iPhone 15s in pristine condition on 9 December. The company’s website stated both phones were in stock and qualified for next-day delivery, however nothing has been delivered. Over the past two weeks I made repeated attempts to resolve this via phone and email. On the few occasions I managed to speak to someone, the conversations were vague and often ended with the call being disconnected. When calling back, my calls then went unanswered. I also exchanged multiple emails with a representative named Scott, but the situation remained unresolved. On 18, 19 and 22 December, I was explicitly told in emails from Scott that the phones had been despatched. This was not true. Royal Mail tracking was created but never progressed. The status shows “sender preparing item” only, with no scan confirming handover to Royal Mail. This indicates the items were never actually sent, despite being told they were. After waiting for two weeks and repeatedly requesting delivery, I am now seeking a full refund without delay and am in the process of escalating the matter under my consumer rights. Given the lack of action and the inaccurate information provided, I have no confidence this company will resolve the issue without external intervention. The website and sales emails are misleading, advertising “in stock”, “next-day delivery”, “delivery in time for Christmas”, and stating that orders will be dispatched within 24 hours via Royal Mail (tracked). Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company.

The service has been appalling and I would not recommend or use Smart Cellular again. I ordered an iPhone 3 Weeks ago, they sent the wrong phone which I returned. I have constantly phoned and keep being told different things. The phone never arrived, so I cancelled the order. I’m still waiting on a refund of £181. The service has been disgusting. Save yourself a lot of stress and do not use this company.

Ordered 2 iPhone 15, after 9 days waiting the items haven't arrive and customer service is just really bad, impossible to speak with anyone, chat takes ages to respond and no solution, these where a Christmas present for my daughters. Asked for refund and silence since then. Avoid this company

Would give them 0 stars if possible. Ordered a "Like new" iphone 16 on 18/11/25, took several days to confirm dispatch and then gave me a tracking number to another order. When I queried, they then sent me another tracking number (suspect mine was never sent) when it did arrive it had deep scratch and dead pixel on screen (not like new) and didn't contain the box I paid extra for either. Returned it the next day and was received 03/12/25. Queue multiple calls and emails to understand when I'd receive my replacement. Told numerous lies on the phone (when someone answered) "Its due to be dispatched", "Its being dispatched tonight", numerous emails too, responding similar, then someone said it hadn't even been inspected yet. Now at 19/12/25 trying to claim refund as still hadn't received device and had to go elsewhere due to it being a xmas present for my daughter. I've now asked for legal details as I'm out of pocket £500+ over xmas with no refund in sight.

I ordered an i phone from smart cellular 4/12/25 in plenty of time for it to arrive by22/12/25 considering the busy time of year .I have sent messages just to be told it would arrive in a day or so . I have also phoned and found it hard to talk to someone and when I did they said they would look into it but still nothing . I decided to go with smart cellular as I had a recommendation but I regret it now . It is now 18/12/25 and still no phone . Really disappointed with this company and will not recommend or buy again . Very shoddy communications

just recently purchased a iphone 13 on the 29 nov it’s the 15th still no phone i had to do a dispute with my bank as i tried to call and i reach out to no response that i had to actually purchase the same phone thru ismash which arrived next day impressive service avoid this company to much problems that is not worth the stress

The order (for a pristine iPhone 14) took a couple of weeks to be fulfilled despite apparently being in stock. When updates were requested on the order the phone and live chat were never answered and emails were responded to in an erratic fashion with replies being received in a couple of days. When the phone was finally received this was grade C at best - the screen had scratches, the camera had scratches and the case was damaged in several places. This was meant to be an xmas present for my daughter, her first phone and this rubbish. I've asked for a refund/replacement of appropriate quality - we'll see how they respond. Personally, I would save you self the hassle of dealing with this company and buy from a reputable company where you can trust the quality of refurbished goods.

If I could give 0 stars I would, we ordered two phones on the 1st December, delivery stated 3rd December. We are now on the 12th December and still no phones. They won't refund, won't reply, won't answer the phone.

The worst company I have ever dealt with. Royal Mail returned my order after a failed delivery and 9 days later I am still awaiting confirmation of a refund or re-delivery. They don't answer the phone or reply to emails.

First of all, do NOT be fooled by the fake 5 star reviews. You can tell that they are clearly made up as they include no detail and have similar phraseology. LOOK at the 1 star reviews- I am GUTTED to be having to write this as I was clearly suckered into purchasing a phone from them. Still no money back despite multiple phone calls (pointless answering machine) and the occasional email promising me my replacement device is ready for dispatch. Do check out Facebook where smart cellular customers have been shockingly treated. Incorrect phone delivered - not even correct colour and phone looked like it had gone 12 rounds with Mike Tyson - battered and scratched all over- they sold it as ‘excellent’ condition. Be wary of dodgy sales/ returns responses too that are evidently just keeping you hanging on whilst they hold on to your money. I’ve had to contact my credit card. Another little trick is that they only give you small ‘insurance’ for the inevitable return. You have to pay out more to ensure the correct amount. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! However much the price looks enticing, don’t believe it! Merry Christmas to everyone except Smart Cellular x

Absolutely shocking company to be honest! Ordered iPhone 11 Pro Max for my daughter in gold with apple box that payed extra for! Well to start off with it turned up a day late thick wasn’t a issue… but now I have it it’s not the right colour it’s came in silver when ordered specifically gold, the apple box I payed for didn’t come instead a cardboard box with the pin for taking SIM card out was pressed into the back of phone in the packaging shock Had damaged the back of the phone !!! I’d definitely not recommend this company and would warn you to avoid if I was you! Absolutely fuming what a joke of a company should be ashamed!
