It was a bit of a disaster with crashed lorries etc, but he sorted it out and got me another transporter, then when that didn't work, refunded my money so can't complain.

Am new to all this but recently booked a delivery with AnyVan which went v smoothly. I thought I would give you a go and accepted a quote from embgomez and paid £10 deposit but not heard anything back. Have emailed and left answer message on phone but no joy. Please help, thanks

You guys are jumping the gun. I have received no response to my emails. The emails have been well explained but there seems no co-ordination in what is going to happen.

The company doing the job was really excellent - and I would use him again in a heartbeat. Highly recommended! Shiply however, I would rather avoid. Their charges are shocking and I was truly gobsmacked when I found out how big a piece of the cake they take... in this case more than 20%. Perhaps there are charges they have that I am not aware of, but as it stands this seems unethical to me.

Convenient, but extremely expensive. Do not think I would use again. Shiply appeared to add 20% to the shipping bill. I only got 2 quotes in the end, was expecting a lot more.

The benefit for this site for me is not so much to find the best quote but to find a reliable service company with a good feedback/ track record. For that purpose Shiply is a very valuable resource. But I find that the site's fee on top of the quoted removals company price is too high, which in my case was 22%. It's ok for a relatively cheap move, but I cannot see that I would be using your website for future more expensive moves. Thanks.

Shiply charges far too high a commission to the drivers. Just over 16% (£57 of £352 in this case) is a very high percentage just for processing a few emails.

Although good to begin with I found a transporter and paid my twenty pounds to you but when it came to collect it appeared they would not take the electric wheelchair as it was not in a boxed carton which is not possible . It also appeared that it was going to be passed on to several other transporters before it reached me. If I knew this in the beginning I would not have wasted my time and money with them. Perhaps customers should be made aware if the transporter only takes boxed items and if they are not going to deliver the item themselves.

The service from Shiply is excellent and helped us find a very good removal company, but the commission Shiply takes is too high. I would not use the website again because such a high percentage of what we paid goes to Shiply rather than to the hard-working driver who helped us with our move.

The shiply service was ok and we found what we were looking for, but we had a lot of difficulty in setting up our request, which was to move heavy machinery and wood. The website lacked any option that I could find for this type of move (i.e. moving a workshop). In the end I had to put it down as a 1 Bed move, and the put the workshop (room) as 'shed' with machinery and benches (to cover the wood). This made it difficult to explain to the bidder exactly what was wanted. It was only after we had accepted their bid that we were able to discuss what we wanted with the bidder. It could have gone horribly wrong (although fortunately it didn't) and Shiply would have been at fault. Their website needs to take this more seriously. Not great, considering the fee we paid to Shiply.

Specified delivery after 28/06. Returned to find two FedEx stickers on mailbox: one dated 26/06 and another 27/06... ie both before specified date. Today 30/06 waiting to see if they bring parcel or not

I negotiated the price with the supplier and the page could not change. It is not well explained for whom is the deposit.

the theory of shiply is fine, and the delivery guys we used were excellent, however i agreed a flat fee of £100 with the company, and that turned into £126 with your fee, or so they claim. I believe paying 26% for your service is ridiculously expensive I resent paying that for such a simple service. reduce your fees if you want any further business from me.

Shiply had provided us a lot of choices to deliver my car to another adress in the UK. The car was picked up on the next day after accepting the quote! Extremely fast and reliable service!
