Had some difficulty setting up the account but once done it wasn't a problem and found good courier.

When it works it's a very good service. The issue I've found is that if you've paid a deposit to somebody who then fails to deliver on their end of the bargain, which has just happened to me, you've lost your deposit. So it can end up being costly.

Easy enough to use but would be better if it were known that quotes are from big companies with day long named day deliveries or smaller companies that will deliver in a specific hour in a day or provide a more personal service.

Would be better if you could communicate with drivers before excepting. Shiply messageing system is not ideal and not very practical for customer or driver

It may be due to my great age but I found it confusing I clicked onto one of the offers and then dealt - as the email replies went through Shiply -with the courier in question.The one I chose kept postponing the day and the collection was urgent. As I hadn't understood the system the first time I had no contact number for him. When I started again it all worked fine and Trusted Couriers did the job well at very short notice for which I am most grateful.

miscommunication between shiply and the transport provider meant the driver had won the bid but did not find out for 2 days.

Paid for an upgrade for a simple London to Manchester job but got no more quotes in than would be expected if I hadn't upgraded. Would be good to have a special instruction box away from the item description as couriers are quoting on jobs they can't do, after messaging them to check they are aware it's a 2 man job etc.

Great concept, but it's not clear how to load multiple requests - I'd ;like it to be clearer how to load multiple items, so that quoters may group their deliveries to me. Otherwise, great, Thankyou, Hazel

I had to cancel a delivery as the courier most unhelpful despite several tries and Shiply refused to refund deposit as it was more than 28 days. T&C are buried and although it appears simple it is not

The speed of getting quotes was good but it was not easy to understand how to view the quotes. Sometimes I was able to view comments and other times the choice was to 'accept a quote' then it asked you to log in but I am not registered. I found that quite frustrating. Delighted with the service I got from Right Move but bemused that the quote I accepted was something like sergico and then I heard from Right Move - no explanation about this at all. Also I bought the pram on ebay but didn't have an e bay reference number to put in that the web site asks for.

Good service and idea - found what I was looking for. However, significant problem with the interface when trying to list items for removal - inputting sofa would always come up as barstool and bookcases were completely ignored. Luckily I realised this and the removal guys were really helpful about it. But the only answer I got when I asked Shiply what I could do was "the error has been passed on". It's still broken weeks later though.

I find the service really good but I would like shiply to take more control of the process and deal with the payments and complaints
