it would be good for someone at shiply to pickup the phones when there is a problem. I did call lots of times but no one is there!!!!!! Paul

Collected item when agreed and delivered as required. However, Shiply have no mechanism to provide tracking number so using this method could be a problem with ebay returned items

In the end the delivery went well OK but at one point the carrier was claiming not to be able to fulfil the delivery and I was in the situation of having paid a large deposit to Shiply and having invested in flights to meet the carrier at the pick up and it not being clear on the Shiply site how to get the deposit back. In fact reading other independent reviews state there are many problems to get the deposit back for Shiply. Shiply should make it a simple process to get the deposit back (a credit is useless for most).

Would consider using again, was a little worried about the poor internet reviews which did concern me. A deposit was taken they was higher than the terms stated, I didn't know who to contact to discuss.

I think this Guy has allot to learn, he is willing to take advice on how to improve his service eg: good communication. I was caused quite some inconvenience:. There were some problems but he has offered to compensate should I use him again. I was disappointed, however he is a nice Guy and deserves the opportunity to improve.

Your "deposit" goes to Shiply, not the carrier. This is not obvious from the website.

Took almost a month for item to be delivered but I didn't specify a specific date it needed delivering for. Quite slow to reply to emails but pleasant when did reply. Very competitive price.

The check boxes on the site didn't work when I was creating my submission. I checked the box for 'yes' for 'Is there an elevator?' it showed as there not being an elevator. The check boxes for whether I needed help carrying also didn't work and said I didn't need assistance when I did. Even deleting that submission and resubmitting another one didn't rectify it.

Useful site. Would be good to be able to leave feedback on couriers even if they didn't complete the job. I found some of them too eager to get the work but ignore questions and try to force you into paying more as soon as you seem as though you will choose them for the job. Bit crafty!

Effective service but should not claim it is fee free when the claimed deposit, once you've selected your courier, is a free paid directly to Shiply and not the courier service. This is stated in the agreement but is deceiving as it claims at the top of multiple pages it is fee free.

Good Customer support which spared Shiply from getting a 'poor' rating. It seems to me that the idea of Shiply is a good one but finding a reliable transporter who can communicate enough to make you believe there is a real human being in control and taking care of your items is a little way off in my experience thus so far. A work in progress...

delivery companies should at all time stick schedule agreed and not change it when they want and not even informing the customers.

The delivery was O.K.and on time but disappointed to be informed of the delivery only the day before,and as i was at work that day it was a scramble around to make arrangements to cover the delivery.

The shipment will not take place for one month. I cannot give a review until after the shipment takes place. Since I am forced to leave a review or the option will disappear, I have checked normal. I hate to do it since I anticipate that the shipment will be very good. But since the site forces me to leave something. This is what I am doing

Great idea that really works but the website design and user ease needs to change quite a bit. There is a limit to what information one can put in there, meaning a lot of time wasted going to and fro with different carriers who are completely unsuitable for some jobs but choose to bid anyway. Eg option of 1 or 2 people required, stairs or not, congestion charging, time limits etc. A lot needs to change!

Fox14 was a1 on delivery and contacting me.. shiply wasnt as quick on details as they should have been
