Organising the delivery and timings was all very good and easy. Lots of communication. We were in a very out of the way difficult village and the fact that they found us on time was impressive. However they had clearly lost time and were in a hurry to leave again, leaving me with a Butlers sink I couldn't lift on my own in the street. Fortunately a passer by helped me lift the sink into my car but I felt that actually they could have been more helpful on point of delivery.

Not always easy to inderstand what is going on, ie what is a "ticket"? Could not down load photos without sending them to the office by email, (despite the site confirming the down load satisfactory)! Only contact by email, nobody to talk to. Having said all that it did provide a good quote from a very proffesional company - Teelogistics, so it all worked in the end!

They where very obscure about times and dates not committing to a date or Time until the day before with no advance notice. Wouldn't take the item upstairs as they said it was a 3 man job to my wife, and they struggled to get from the van to my living room. Me and my wife managed to get it up stairs with no problem it wasn't overly heavy or a 3 man job in my opinion. However I did like the way the Shiply site works the fact I can enter the eBay item on and the bidding system works excellently so I would use again and have recommended the site to friends and family.

Obviously it was a useful service and when I rang the office they were very helpful. But the website and the process are quite CLUNKY. It's confusing and frustrating trying to understand the quotes coming in. For example messages are not easy to organise and seemed to be in different places. The message trail was difficult to read/poorly presented. One supplier's messages ONLY came to my email and NOT to my Shipley inbox all adding to the feeling of confusion and disorganisation. The overview of new and past messages was difficult to manage. Therefore it was difficult and annoying when trying to communicate my moving job to suppliers. I mean it was only 4 non running cars in one go, not an unusual job really. All in all it worked out fine and I found a good car transporting guy. But it wasn't easy! Ok it's Saturday and my head hurts now, I usually get paid for this kind of effort.....good luck!

Couriers do not read the eBay listings before they quote, once accepted they change the collection date, the delivery date and the cost! Apart from that they are cheap

Plans made for collection and delivery of item on Sunday fell through due to problems with another customer, so we doubted his reliability. It was rearranged for Monday morning. All involved felt the driver should have seen the collection and delivery through for us on Sunday as Monday was much less convenient. Also it would have earned more respect for his reputation but finances and time were an issue for him. However he was true to his word and on time for Monday morning, very polite, helpful and all was fine, a great relief for all concerned.

The service was ok, the driver and mate fairly helpful and the whole thing went broadly according to plan. I probably won't use Shiply again simply because of the constant stream of 'leave Feedback' emails sent from a no reply email address. They were invasive and hugely unprofessional.

First Currier was rubbish in spite of having reasonably revues, never delivered, lost my shiply deposit, could not get in touch with shiply, wouldn't answer phone. Second Currier was first class delivered quickly and within 5 mins of the stated time. Shiply needs to vet their currier's carefully. Second currier received the job fourth hand, they didn't say from who, but it had come from shiply originally. I had the number of the currier who delivered but I was also given other numbers and names of people from shiply who didn't answer their phones or E-mail. Very confusing and could have gone horribly wrong. I was lucky to only loose the first deposit of £12. COME ON SHIPLY GET SORTED!!!.

The Delivery Man was so good, very helpful, helped me take my furniture up the stairs and was generally just a nice guy. However the owner of the business was extremely unhelpful, he couldn't give me a time when the delivery would arrive. Was waiting from 7 in the morning to when it came at 8 in the evening.

The delivery was quick and a reasonable price, but when my bike arrived, it had several deep paint chips and is costing me more that the delivery to repair. So I am quite shocked about that and the fact I have to spend more money

I have used Shiply previously and arranged successful deliveries. This time the website held up delivery (couldn't fill in details to send to the courier whose bid I had accepted until I had full collection details and then couldn't re access as delivery had moved from "active" to "past" deliveries. The courier didn't respond. Shiply have not responded to my com yet. I don't know who has my deposit or whether I can relist the delivery.

The idea of using Shiply is good in principle but as overall i was very annoyed at having to chase the guy who had been given the job via shiply so i think if your paying shiply then they should finish the job of arranging when where what is being picked up. In defence of shiply the lady i spoke to ( katie ) was absolutely fantastic in helping me sort and resolving my issues ...

Lack of communication very frustrating but got the job done. Had slight damage to one of my chairs. In terms of delivery no problem.
