They didn't. The driver John Slattery was unreliable, he didn't collect and deliver when he said he would, he did not let me know, told me that there should be someone to help him with delivery, was unimpressed that as a 68 year old woman would have to do, was rude, bullying me. The seller of the item which he collected called his behaviour "challenging". Luckily my family were visiting and the two adults were both ex police officers and took issue with driver otherwise I would haven't been at all comfortable with this man as his behaviour is intimidating. Never again. I paid him £1 less than I needed to so he said he could give me bad feedback!

The courier delivered the goods for a great price. NOTE: Shiply are just an introduction service. My recommendation is to ask the sender to send a picture of the van, the goods and the driver.

The good were not picked up or delivered on the original days that were arranged. When it did happy the service was ok.

My transport provider requested more money after I accepted their quote and the day before they were meant to pick up my items. I contacted shiply for helped but was told that they only act as third party and could not get involved. In the end, I ended up paying the extra 70 euros just so we could get the job done, it was simply too last minute to find another provider. I felt taken advantage of and unable to rely on shiply for any help. Not sure I would use again.

pleased with price and actual pick up and delivery but the time between the two was too long ! over two weeks ! Difficult to communicate with -no one answers the phone -e mail reply eventually

Collected my eBay purchase quickly but we're late with the delivery to me , when chased they delivered the next day as promised.

Got there in the end and to be fair they carried a heavy wardrobe up stairs to designated bedroom . Were also punctual on delivery . There were communication problems with pick ups as in they said they had made contact but left pick up sellers in the dark about day and time of pick up so I had to a lot of mediating, whereas really that side of it should be sorted with courier and pick up sellers- my conclusion is that they are a little disorganised albeit a perfectly pleasant duo.

Good to be able to share a van and cut costs. Only complaint is that Shiply adds £12 no matter what price you agree with courier. This can be disproportionate and be better if it was a percentage of fee rather than flat rate on cheaper bids. Couriers have been good and helps having reviews.

Easy to use to get quotes but hard to solve problems with when they arise. Once Shiply have your money they are almost impossible to contact for help if the courier lets you down

Actual driver was superb,very professional and careful,just a shame Shiply are not the same! Whilst making sure driver could make my tight schedule I was accused by Shiply of breaking their rules and I would be referred to an"advisor ". I am honest and would never do anything to dodge rules,to say I am furious is putting it mildly.
