I accepted a bid from Shiply ................... under a name I did not recognise, which is fine. (I later find out it is "Parcel Force" operating under another name. All 4 items picked up at the same timeI received the goods over two days. The first day the driver was shocked when he realised only half of the goods were there. The only explanation was "Maybe Tomorrow" Annoyed that the operating name of the company I know is withheld, I may have reconsidered the offer knowing "Parcel Forces" reputation of not being the best.

Shipley needs to better vet shippers. I had a really awful experience with a shipper and subsequently discovered that mine was not an isolated incident. Shipper was unprofessional with unprovoked aggressive attitude on eventual delivery. This type of shipper should be excluded by Shiply.

i booked a package but wasn't able to access my account to see if payment had gone through. i logged a call with the service team at shiply never received a call back. thanks guys. Luckily south coast couriers delivered beyond belief and outside the call of duty . these guys are awesome. shiply on the other hand in my opinion should be named shitly. I wont be using again.

In terms of getting quotes the system works well but Shiply does not appear to have much validation in place for the providers offering their services. I received quotes, accepted one, paid the deposit only for the provider to cancel at short notice. Apparently teir vehicle suffered gearbox failure shortly after I asked for proof of liability insurance; coincidence? No refund offered or received; surely the least they should do is allow you to select another provider? Then they had the cheek to edit out my negative feedback about the provider!

Still waiting for a response from Shiply with regards to a job cancelled/ not fulfilled in February. Awaiting deposit back of over £50. Will anyone respond? Cannot speak to anyone on customer service line just an answer machine on both option 1 and 2. Sent email and still no response

Good price, but a Totally Disorganised Company made it a very stressful experience for both seller and buyer. Wouldn't use this Company again.

The transporter made out his was a personal service, it wasn't, he was a third person/reseller who sent Parcelforce. His behaviour in chasing up the payment (before the deilvery was even confirmed) was threatening, disgraceful and the sign of an immature/unintelligent person who knows nothing about how to deal with customers or running a business. I won't use Shiply again.

I did not find the process reassuring. The website kept on slipping into different languages. There was no real explanation of how the process works and who the people are who submit quotes. The company I signed up to turned out to have gone into liquidation a couple of years ago. I could not contact Shiply by phone so I sent an email that eventually got answered but with a proforma style email saying, in effect, "make your own inquiries and if it all goes wrong don't blame us". Needless to say I backed out and found a local agent. The feedback is asked for too quickly for anyone to really know how the shipment went. It could be a good idea and, for all I know perhaps it does work for most people, but it just has a very dodgy feel to it.

The shipment hasn't been made a week after the organised date. Communication is not good Im afraid. I'm sorry to leave a negative review but I hope they pay attention.

Have contacted Shiply twice by email for support as telephone support was unavailable. Nobody has contacted me back to answer my queries.

After having difficulty with the courier service, contacted shiply who did reply although I've since sent four emails for support re: using a new courier and getting my deposit back I've had no response. I've tried ringing daily but lines never open. I've even had to contact the police re the abuse and threats from the courier I've explained this in my emails to Shiply but yet still haven't has a response from them. I am still waiting my my deposit as the link I was sent does not work. Just wish I could actually speak to someone from the team.

Was messed around for over a week after paying deposit Shipley just credited my Shipley account BUT i w ant my money back! I rarely use this service a credit for someone i have paid for and never received is tantamount to just keeping the money

Used shipley for competitive quotes from courier companies. excellent service on this part of the service BUT Kept getting emails asking for feedback ,last email stated that Shipley itself was going to leave positive feedback on my behalf even before I was to get my delivery WHY, YOU DIDN'T USE THE COURIER COMPANY IN QUESTION. I DON'T WANT YOU TO ACT ON MY BEHALF , IT IS UPTO ME TO LEAVE OR NOT LEAVE FEEDBACK WITHOUT GETTING BADGERED FROM SHIPLEY

Some transport companies are great, the problem here is there are some real cowboys too and Shiply does not really oversee, so you are out on a limb when your courier just doesn't come through as promised and already has your deposit. There is then no recourse to Shiply. Some of the couriers simply shouldn't be allowed to be on there, as they are destroying the reputation of the whole company and the other much better guys.

In the end my item was delivered by a reliable driver. But I would say I will probably not use Shiply again. Why? 1. You have to commit to a courier before you know whether they are actually available when you need them, and I think this makes some drivers offer a quote even when they are not sure they can fit in the job. Then you are stuck with them until the 7 days are up. This is what happened with the first quote I accepted - in spite of choosing the driver with the best ratings - and it can mean you rapidly lose the goodwill of the seller. The second driver was excellent. 2. There is never any phone support on your site when there are problems.

There is no control over some of these cowboy man with van set-ups and although some are very good, others are useless and promise everything and deliver nothing. I have also lost money with them too as had to organise another shipper, when one took more htan 3 weeks.
