Where to start? First, I accepted their bid, which was not the lowest not even close but because of a promised quick pick up. I paid Shiply and the company wanted $300 which I paid; the balance would be paid upon delivery. The driver arrived with a totally inadequate trailer for the load. All the information was supplied before accepting the bid. After they failed, they asked for another chance, then they went silent. Never heard from them again. I will post the message exchanges

Load-Makers did not live up to their end. They cancelled multiple times. No communication of these cancellations. I had to keep calling to get information. They kept asking for "one more day" Then that day would come and go. I would avoid. I will not be using load-makers in the future.

Before I booked I asked them to confirm that they can pick up within my needed time. Since I was leaving town which was five days later. They said for sure when nothing happened over the first few days I kept on messaging them and they kept on reassuring me not to worry, guess what when the time came that I had to leave town they said they were sorry and could not find someone to pick up my car. This company will promise you anything but not deliver.

The pick up was missed due to a ‘broken down’ truck but shipper was not informed until 3+ hours after pick up was scheduled. MORE IMPORTANTLY, the chair was broken and then the delivery agent tried to glue it back together. This is a 150 year old chair and I am now trying to find a restoration company that can remove the glue and then try to repair the break. While I realize it was an accident, it could not be more careless and thoughtless, especially in the attempted repair.

Scammed by a transporter. Don't trust this Shipley. They say there subcontractors are verified, I was getting full response until payment was made. I think this company needs to Vet its suppliers properly. No chance of refund either as they take no responsibility. Sham of a company

I ordered a removal from Gary83 on Shiply's platform. my furniture was stolen and Shiply's have accepted no responsibility for the theft, not even refunding the deposit that the site claims, let alone the value of my stolen property or the full delivery that I had paid in advance. Unlike equivalent marketplace platforms, they offer absolutely NO compensation or support if your property is stolen- they also clearly don't vet their suppliers (the address they gave me when my furniture failed to materialise was for a care home and the name didnt match the bank account) so it's very easy to be scammed- Gary83 had apparently successfully undertaken hundreds of jobs so there's no way to tell scam from genuine service provider. When I complained toShiply they have simply shrugged and stalled and now don't answer so my advice to anyone would be DO NOT USE SHIPLY- there is no way of ensuring that you are dealing with a genuine supplier and you receive no help from them at all if the companies on their site are scammers.

SERVICIO PÉSIMO, NUNCA LO VOLVERÍA A CONTRATAR, HAN SIDO TODO PROBLEMAS. De forma reiterada han incumplido los horarios de recogida y entrega, llegando a decirme que querían hacer el traslado otra semana distinta a la acordada. FATAL!!! Contraté un servicio para recoger y entregar una cama con su canapé de una vivienda a otra, con lo que acordé que vendrían 2 personas a realizar el servicio. En el momento de efectuar el servicio solo vino un chico, así que le tocó realizar a mi hermano la bajada de las cama y canapé a la furgoneta en la vivienda origen, y a mí subirla en la vivienda destino. MUY MAL!!! EVITAD TRABAJAR CON ESTA EMPRESA, OS VAN A COMPLICAR LA VIDA, SON MUY INFORMALES.

Very difficult to do business was with. Promised a great price and a fast service but didn’t get either. It took 2 weeks for the car to be delivered. I had to personally deliver my car to final destination because Shipley couldn’t find a driver. And they charged me full price. No consideration to waive any fees due to them not being able to deliver what they promised. Highly disappointed. Sent multiple emails for a refund with no response.

Firstly I was not told until the day before that I needed to pay the balance in cash. I paid the cash on collection as requested. The team tried to collect the cash again from my son to whom the delivery was going!! They wanted to contact the boss who was unavailable but my son refused to pay. They were informed of 6 garden steps at the delivery location and this was confirmed as ok. They then tried to collect another £50 from my son. Would not recommend.

Having used you several times previously, with good delivery companies, I used you for a chest of drawers delivery with the company Alwayslogistics. They claimed to be contactable, insured and wrap all items. They never communicated, delivery eventually happened 2 weeks late, out of the blue, post a call from their driver who was abusive and threatened me if I did not take receipt of the item on Easter Sunday morning. I called the company, no answer, and the driver left the cabinet at the side of road, no wrapping just shoved in a van. He was really threatening and aggressive. When I complained to Shiply that this company was unvetted ( as you claim all your companies are) and should be taken off your site, you replied saying there is nothing you can do and they remain on your site with 4.5 star reviews! This is fraud and I cannot believe you are not taking any action.

AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE! EXTREMELY SLOW IN REPLYING TO EMAILS IN THE HOPE THAT YOU WILL GIVE UP! TELEPHONE NUMBER DOES NOT WORK THIS IS AGAIN DONE TO MAKE IT DIFFICULT TO CONTACT THEM! YOU REALLY NEED BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE! 0/10 VERY UNDERHANDED COMPANY WHO SAY THERE TRANSPARENT YET EVERYTHING IS MADE DIFFICULT BY THEM AND NOT CLEAR AT ALL, ESPECIALLY WITH THERE FEES THEY DO NOT TELL YOU THEY TAKE THE DEPOSIT WHICH IS PAID! Booked with motor mover masters.. failed to pick up equipment on time and had to pick up equipment myself..asked for refund on deposit and no response.. will never think about using such sorry ass company again

Needed an item picked up and delivered. Booked a company called Flydesk through Shiply. They never turned up on the first agreed date blaming a breakdown. Rearranged to another date- never turned up again. Shiply still have my deposit even though I have asked for it back.

Worst company I have had the misfortune of dealing with. I hired Shiply to transport a boat across the country which ended up in a crash in South Dakota. Luckily driver was fine and hey accidents happen. The nightmare was dealing with Shiply, they basically ignored my requests for a refund nor would they help with the carrier refused to pay the $6K deductible. They are horrible, so use them at your own risk.

Scam company, they give me a quote for delivering one item and after I accept the quote and paid the deposit they tell me that they can’t deliver it. Never use their service. I wouldn’t recommend it, save yourself the stress and fine a proper delivery company. Very disappointed!
