Very pleased with the mirrored wardrobes I have had built by Sharps in 2 bedrooms. Fitting was to a high standard. The only negative for me was the fitter left a lot of offcuts/rubbish, which previous Sharps fitters have removed as part of the service.

We had a fitted wardrobe installed and made the 'mistake' of having Sharps Bedrooms as our first quote as no other company could match the design process and thorough measurements and drawings. There was absolutely no hard sell, our salesman/designer Jim was so pleasant and I felt bad when we decided to have another think. We came back to Sharps however as we decided that the extra cost was going to give us what we wanted. We couldn't fault the joiner, Al who came to fit the wardrobe - his work was very skilled and we were amazed at what he managed over the two days. We are very happy with the results - the wardrobe is exactly right. A very big expense for us and that's the only reason we give four stars - as this was a half price offer! Quality is fabulous.

The whole process was very smooth. The Salesman who came to our home for the design visit was very interested in making sure we got what we wanted and even made some suggestions that (some might think unusually!) didn't increase the price but did increase the functionallity of the design. The fitter was quick, clean and competent and finished well within the expected timescale. I must admit that wee did have a problem afterwards, but the aftersales service was superb and our problem solved within 48 hours. True, it's not an inexpensive thing to have done within your home, but you definitly get what you pay for, and we're extremely happy with the overall result.

Very happy with my new mirrored wardrobes. The sales rep was very helpful answering questions after his initial visit. The office admin team very understanding when I had to delay fitting a couple of times. The fitter did a very professional job , worked hard and completed fitting within a day. I wasn't offered a collection service of left over wood, but have happily kept it for other jobs. the fitted wardrobes are of a very high standard and I am delighted.

I was amazed that the work only took one day especially having been told that it would take three. Collection of the discarded wood did take longer than expected, however the fitter did well to re order the correct bed head following delivery of the wrong one. Overall we are pleased with our bedroom.

We are very pleased with the cost and the fiished result. The workman came when advsed and carried out the job in a very effic ient manner. He left the room very tidy. I am happy to recommend Sharps to anyone.

Various visits, finish by tradesmen were very good standard with professional, considerate attitude. The reason I did not rate as very good is more to do with "lack of detailed information at the shop front. Reading branch staff was good, trying her best although her knowledge was limited. Swindon staff was very bad and Newbury was not good either. Overall I am not warmed by your approach of "have to have a visit (although free of charge) to get the grip of what I can get". I don't want to keep a day for the visit without guarantee that the visit was worthwhile waiting for.

The final wardrobes and furniture that have been fitted are excellent. Well fitted and the fitter did a great job taking only one day to install, although I was originally led to believe it would be a 3 day fitting.

Highly delighted with my new Bedroom. Extremely efficient company from the first visit of the Designer through the Surveyor, who did a thorough check of the measurments, Delivery of the items and the Fitters who worked so hard. Unfortunately the first Fitter was taken ill after the second day but Sharp's quickly found an excellent replacement who worked overtime to ensure that the room was completed within the time stated by Sharp's. Cannot fault them. Well done to you all.

I needed more room in my second bedroom and as it's a cottage, it has a sloping roof at the front, hence you lose quite a bit of space with ordinary wardrobes. I enquired about Sharps & they sent a chap round to talk about what they do & show me their brochure ~ I agreed & he did a quick measure up of the space I needed the wardrobes built. Not long after that, another chap came & did a final, more intense measurements. Within a couple of weeks the fitter arrived, & after a lot of hard work over a couple of days, my wardrobes were installed perfectly !

The designer and engineer were helpful and friendly. This was the second bedroom where we have used Sharps as we were happy with the service last time. However, this time was very different, the state that the wardrobe was left in after the fitter came was not up to standard and certainly not what I expected for the price! The shelves were not cleaned, there were pencil marks all over the inside and lots of gaps that were not filled. My wife came back to find the fitter reading a paper and saying that he was finished - clearly no pride in the finished work. The customer services team were also appalling, we had our appointment changed twice despite making arrangements to be home. We also could not get hold of the team to make the final payment by credit card and were forced to pay a cheque. I filled out the feedback form explaining my frustrations with the finished product and they did not have the courtesy to even call me back to obtain any more information or apologise but they did send me a letter asking me for my review via this website. Overall, we were happy with the wardrobes (after thoroughly cleaning them ourselves!) but the experience has left us not wanting to use Sharp's again.

Communication with them was very difficult - we kept emailing them to ask dimensions (one email included a technical drawing and the question: Is this how it will be?) and they ignored our requests for info, although we needed to know as we were fitting new skirting boards and moving power points. The pieces were delivered without the one hour warning we'd been promised. And we had several issues afterwards, over which we have been passed from pillar to post - no resolution as yet. The fitter left a terrible mess. He hoovered up some of the worst sawdust from the middle of the floor, but that was it. There was loads of sawdust and plaster dust left at the edges of the room and inside the wardrobes. We are still trying to find out how to remove the drawers so that we can clean behind them. He bagged up his rubbish and left it in our bedroom (on top of more sawdust). He chose to leave at a moment when he could see I was busy, and thrust a form briefly under my nose, saying the rest of it was irrelevant but I should sign it or he wouldn't get paid. I have since found out that this was the customer satisfaction form. The bedside chest we got was not as we had ordered or been promised. We orignally chose a fitted one that joined onto the wardrobe, but the salesman/designer suggested we get a freestanding one, which would be identical to the fitted one but have its own side, so we could move it in the future if we choose to. However, the freestanding one is NOT identical to the fitted one, and we now have a chest with lips/overhangs at the sides, so it cannot be butted up against the wardrobe aand taakes up too much space. It is also not the size we were told it would be, even if the overhangs are subtracted. The lip between the chest and the wardrobe creates an ugly gap, and is also a dust trap - avoiding dust traps was one reason we wanted fitted bedroom storage. There are gaps of about 3mm between the side panels of the wardrobes and the wall, making it look cheap and not fitted, and allowing dust to enter. The fitter was heard to mutter something about not having sealant, so we suppose that he should have sealed it but, having forgotten to bring sealant, decided to leave us with a thrid-rate job instead. It has taken us hours of phone calls, writing emails and sending photos to get Sharps to show any interest in all this - time I really needed to do other things. They did say that the file had to passed from one department to another and this could only be done on Fridays!!!!! Never mind leaving dissatisfied customers waiting. The edges of the drawers were they are supposed to be gripped are very sharp, but we will sand them ourselves rather than going through any more pain with Sharps. (Are they called "Sharps" because they don't sand sharp edges??) Just as we have had to clean up after the fitter. The top box doors supplied were of a stupid design that opened up like aeroplane lockers, and would have been too high to close again, but Sharps did send alternative doors which open in the normal way. However, this would not have been necessary had the designer or salesman told us what they would be like. We quite like the look of our wardrobes, hence 2 stars although I feel I am being very generous; but this is a compnay which tries to make its customers of major items settle for shoddy workmanship, poor treatment, and customer relations focussed on their own needs rather than aiming to address and solve problems. We still don't know when the overhang and the gaps will be put right. I understand that it will be if/when they can be bothered. They are not interested in the fact that we need to use that room in two days, and will not tell us whether or not it will be all right to fill the wardrobes, or whether they would need to be emptied again to rectify problems. I think we have accepted that the filth left behind will not produce an apology. A company to avoid!

Very pleased with the end result. The fitter was quick and tidy and stayed on late to finish the job to save having to return the next day.

The work carried out was of a good standard...but the disruption wasn't acceptable. First the surveyor comes out to measure up, then another person comes to make sure its all correct and then orders the items...then the fitter comes and, basically, makes a woodwork shop in your chosen bedroom. Noise...dust...everywhere. The fitter did a good job...but why these sorts of things aren't made to measure and then fitted...instead of standard items that need cutting to shape and size in situ. I will not be using again.
