“The designer was very good, likewise the surveyor who made sure that everything would get up a very narrow staircase. The fitter was good and we are very pleased. The only thing that disappointed me was that the wardrobe doors have quite a sharp edge on them.”

“The whole process - selection, ordering and fitting was excellent - and the designer, surveyor, and fitter were all very efficient and good to people to deal with. We are delighted with the finished product - looks great and very good workmanship. This is the third set of fitted bedroom furniture we have had from Sharps (which says something!) - and the range of wardrobes we had installed in our main bedroom some 5 years ago (which is the one that gets most use of course) still looks in mint condition; I am sure that the latest installation will prove just as good over the coming years.”

“We have a loft conversion with an angled ceiling so made to measure wardrobes are the only choice. The process from a design/sales visit was good, with a draughtsman's visit to obtain accurate final measurements. Delivery was on schedule and the delivery crew worked efficient and professional. Greatest praise goes to the fitter who took great care to complete the installation to a very high standard. He was very tidy and removed the rubbish from the room after completion. I can recommend Sharps”

“We had wardrobes fitted in two bedrooms and were very pleased with both. The whole process from start to finish was very efficient and accommodating to fit to our timetable which was not straightforward. Everyone from the designer through to the fitters was thorough and professional.”

“The designer was very good in designing my bedroom. The fitter turned up 7.30am.He asked if he could work till 6.00pm or 7.00pm so that he could finish in one day. The fitter did not stop for a break he got the wardrobe fitted in one day. The fitter did a very good job and cleaned up all the mess when he finished. Well done to the fitter.”

“Good quality quickly installed. Installer for original date wasn't available but another another install date was quickly arranged installer was brilliant all done in weekend he even worked late to make sure it was all done on time”

“Had wanted a new bedroom for some time and decided it was going to be done properly. From the first contact with Sharps, right through to the end product, everything was very professional. Their designer, surveyor and fitter were so very helpful and expert at their respective role. Having got my new bedroom reaffirmed I made the correct decision to get it done properly. Excellent.”

“Excellent quality, I was very happy with the salesman, surveyor, delivery people, and the fitter was outstanding. The office staff were helpful and kept in touch. I'm very happy with the end product, which is exactly what I had asked for and looks great. One big downside though - I did not know until the day the fitter came and paperwork arrived, that I would be left with a very large quantity of very heavy material to dispose of. It was neatly bagged, but NOWHERE in the Ts & Cs was this mentioned. I am 67, and have only a small car, and it was expensive and troublesome to get everything removed. For the price paid, I would have expected this to be included, as it was by my kitchen fitters, bathroom fitters, garden clearance people, and so on.”

“This was our second Sharps bedroom and although we are fairly happy with the finished product, we would not use the firm again as we feel that the customer service has deteriorated significantly since our first order. The salesman appeared excellent but he told us that the surveyor would bring with him a full range of samples for us to choose our final product. The surveyor told us that he carries nothing and that the salesman knows that! Consequently we had to chose from the catalogue. Next problem was delivery which took about 5 weeks. Although the delivery van has "Sharps" down the side, the driver was at pains to point out that he is not employed by Sharps and just get told what to do! They insisted on delivering 10 days before installation and setting all the pieces out as in a diagram from Sharps. In a one bedroom flat, this was extremely inconvenient but customer convenience had no significance. It could all have been laid out much better so that we didn't have to climb over it but no, that was not allowed! Finally, the fitter. He told us that he had no jobs the previous week and therefore could easily have fitted it sooner at a time more convenient to us! He fitted it ok but didn't mention that he had cracked an electric socket in the process. He fitted the middle door to slide in the opposite direction to the way we had requested and was quite put out when I asked him to change it, telling me quite grumpily that he couldn't see what difference it made which way the door went. Well I could and surely that should be what counts! Also our top shelf is not as we expected it to be (much narrower) which means that the boxes we wanted to put on it and which we had shown the surveyor do not fit properly. Fitter said he could only fit the pieces supplied and he doesn't work for Sharps so to take it up with them. I filled in the sign-off form he gave me and added a comment that we were not happy with the shelf but 4 months later we have heard nothing. Overall, I have marked our experience as acceptable based on the fact that the finished product is OK but on a customer service rating I would give it a "very poor"”

“Good quality wardrobes. Good options for customising them. Shame we didn't get exactly what we asked for and have been left with a lot of dirty marks, chips and stains over our walls.”

“We were overall very happy with the service provided by Sharps. The reservation service was quick and communication regarding installation dates was also good. We had 3 rooms done at the same time, the fitter was excellent, very friendly and hard working. The delivery men were also very efficient, they unfortunately marked our carpet with their boots, so I would just suggest a bit more floor protection next time. Otherwise a good service and we would definitely recommend them.”

“We had two bedrooms done with Sharps at the same time and the service was professional from start to finish. We are happy we have a good quality product with the ease of paying monthly and a 10 year guarantee. The fitter was fantastic and worked very hard although alone. My only criticism would be that he could have wiped down and vacuumed in the drawers etc but nothing we couldn't do ourselves. I would recommend sharps to anyone.”

“I am very pleased with how my wardrobe turned out. The designer I had was great. He took his time going through various styles and design ideas even showing me material samples which helped a lot. My surveyor was very knowledgeable and knew what he was doing. I am very happy with the efficient service from Sharps but I do feel that they are quiet pricey.”

“Very pleased with end result, but the 'journey' was a bit tortuous. The office had difficulties finding a fitter after their original fitter couldn't do the work. I was left somewhat in the dark, not knowing what was going on. There wasn't enough communication.”
