The sales person came at the appointed hour and we made a decision to place an order with him on the same day. He was leaving on holiday within a day or 2 Sharps rang to take a deposit and a surveyor visit was booked. On arrival he asked for “the paperwork” but we had been left none and -upon ringing the office - it turns out they didn’t have any paperwork either. The surveyor’s visa was therefor futile and we had to start the process again. I subsequently forwarded an email that the sales rep had provided me for insurance purposes (flood claim) and based on that another surveyor was sent a few weeks later and the process was concluded. However, we were desperate for this installation to take place and this lack of “paperwork” caused at least a 2 weeks on what otherwise might have been achieved for an installation. Ironically, the sales person, seeing our plight, and recognising we had previously used Sharps for 2 other bedroom installations, said that he would do all he could to prioritise our prefer so that we could get “our life back” asap. The opposite has been the reality. I am very disappointed with Sharps performance in this instance for the following reasons: 1. Nobody would explain why the paperwork problem arose, despite me asking more than once. 2. Nobody has apologised for the mess up and the consequent delay in installation 3. Despite the sales person’s “promise”, there has been NO attempt to give any priority to our order This has been a poor & disappointing performance by Sharps and I strongly feel an explanation, apology and offer of some compensation for the delay should be forthcoming.

The lady in the sharps showroom was very helpful indeed. The designer came out within 2 days he was great . Few weeks later the surveyor came out and wanted to change our design, which we wasn't really happy with . We waited weeks for the fitters to come out and fit the bespoke wardrobes. They spent 3 hours scratching they heads and decided they couldn't work out how they build them up . They had to walk off the job . I was so upset and disappointed and didn't know what was happening. There was £20.000 worth of wardrobes in a pile on the floor . They told me someone would ring me . I waited and waited and in the end I rang the fitting department and I got a lady on the other end of the phone , who wasn 't interested in what i had to say . I ended up having a argument with her as she would listen to me , she just spoke over me . I am a customer who as paid alot of money . Customer service rubbish northern fitting department. Another surveyor came out 2 days later measured it again and printed more pics off for me . The next day I rang them up at less 3 times as before, they told me that the following Monday a fitters will be at my house . So I took more time off work for this to happen and was excited. The following Monday came and no fitter turned up . Once again I rang up 4 times and got promised someone will ring me back . Hours later I got a phone call and got told they will look into it all for me and will get back to me . I dont hold up any hope . I am sat in my house and I dont know when my wardrobes are getting fitted. 🙃 Thanks northern fitting department. You are unhelpful, and have saff that need to go on a course to learn how to talk to customers . Please learn from my experience. I am stuck with a pile of wardrobes and I don't know what is going to happen next . Great job done sharps . (NOT)

I went into the showroom and was surprised at how helpful the assistant was. She was very professional, very knowledgeable about the service Sharps could offer. An appointment was made for Sunday, 2 days time, for a designer to come and measure. The designer was female - what a joy. So many people who have done work in our house are male. She had a lovely idea which changed our minds about wardrobes. Everything was measured, planned and priced. The next visit from the designer was brilliant too. The space was measured and everything placed carefully. A date was set and we were informed how things would be. A wonderful and easy service thank you

Both design rep & surveyor were extremely polite, friendly & efficient. Neither tried to influence us in our choices other than to highlight practical aspects the resulted in a cost saving whilst giving us the design we require.

The designer was very professional but didn't give us what we wanted despite me drawing up the desired layout. He did offer other layouts but when the surveyor come we were able to get very close to our original wishes.

The designer was very professional, helped us plan exactly what we wanted, and agreed a fair price for the extensive work. The surveyor was polite and courteous and able to discuss any queries with my wife. An excellent Company to work with and we are excited about having our bedroom fitted.
