I requested a home visit via Sharps website and received a call the next day where I was asked what room they were going to look at, to which I specified it was a hallway. The customer advisor booked an appointment for the next day for a home visit. So far, so good. When the designer came by for the home visit, the first thing he said as soon as he entered the property was (pointing at our friendly and well-behaved dog, who was on a leash) that it would cost us 25 thousand pounds if he got bitten by our dog. He proceeded to recount that a few years back he got bitten in the leg by a customer's dog and that he sued them for 25 thousands for psychological trauma and due to a health condition he has. I should have asked him to leave there and then, but let him proceed. He asked "where is the job" and I showed him the alcove in the hallway. He commented "Is that it? Is that the whole job?" and complained that the minimum he would look at is a whole living room, that he is the top designer in the region, he did not feel comfortable with this job and he preferred to leave. So he just up and left. I called Sharps to tell them about the visit and they were not surprised. They offered to send someone else, saying that this other person is "lovely". No apologies about the designer's behaviour. I am still in disbelief Sharps would employ someone like this person to go to people's homes and treat customers the way he did! Threatening to sue me as soon as he got in and leaving in a hurry because he was too good for the job. Ridiculous!

The “designer” arrived very late for the appointment. Sharps had wrong details so they were unable to contact me. The technival appointment was a wast kf time, the man was useless me tokd me I could t have a wardrobe - this was after they took so we a thousand pounds from me for the wardrobe. No follow up apology, no refund, money was only refunded after I complained (which was pretty much ignored), my money was eventually refunded after a month by which this time I had been charged interest on my card. Do not use this firm. Worse company EVER. Terrible customer service. They will take your money and not deliver anything. From start to end it was stressful, long and unsatisfactory.

Cannot believe that never made first appointment- no call to explain why and when rang 30 minutes after booked time just told he wasn’t going to attend, why? Did I want to book another day off and wait again , err no. Would have liked to discuss walk in wardrobe and library design , I am sure there will be other providers who are more courteous and want my business.

Outraged, angry, upset, disappointed & absolutely disgusted on the price charged for such poor service from start to finish. Great lack of communication between staff. Surveyor made a massive error with material which wouldn’t fit when delivered, therefore having a wardrobe side made in 2 pieces, an eyesore. Like taking your money upfront but unable to get any back if not satisfied with standards. If you are happy for someone to be in your home 12 hours a day to work & still not finish on time, then don’t bother, most are subcontracted, the one who came to me only been doing the job for 2 months. The advertisement for this company looks amazing, however using them is a completely different story. My bedroom is done but I certainly do not feel blown away as they assure you or from the pictures in the brochures. I’m sure they wouldn’t dare put mine in one unless there was plenty of photo shopping! This was meant to be a treat for me, since downsizing from my family home & recently being widowed. I didn’t realise just how vulnerable you can be, a woman on her own, just get walked all over.

All materials were delivered with care and respect. The fitting of wardrobes to both bedrooms went smoothly and the results were exceptional. So so pleased with all aspects. A special note regarding the fitter - Scott McGovern - what a superb job. Worked so hard, was neat & tidy, polite, attention to detail was noticeable. Extremely professional craftsman. Thank you Scott.

I will never use Sharps again! Experienced long delays due to errors with the wardrobe design, damage to my property during the installation and poor response from the customer complaints team. The culmination of the above resulted in several visits to the property and cancellations. As a day rate consultant I lost a lot of money taking time off work to sort out the mistakes of Sharps. The customer complaints team were keen to stress their contractual position around damage to property during installation i.e. they are not at fault, and they are not obligated to pay any damages. You are paying a lot of money for a low end quality product and service.

Poor quality product and fitting. Covered in scratches and marks, door handle fallen off after a week. Room was left a mess no one came to collect rubbish. Would not recommend find a local joiner will do a better job for the same price

How can you place an order with this company that still utilizes 'Sharp' practices. My daughter asked for a quote for my granddaughters very small bedroom. The cost £12,000!! If you order within the next 7 days its £7000, but if you order today only £5000, For Gods sake, are they living on a different planet. This practice died out years ago!! So are they trustworthy? Obviously not!! Arthur Daley is alive and well and working for Sharps!! I just want a straight price, not foul play

Absolutely disappointed with Sharp service. They were suppose to fit my wardrobe today after weeks of waiting and the installer texted me that he is not able to come. I have called the admin team several times already and nobody reply. I don't know when are they going to come now and i have all the wardrobe parts in my rooms which make it almost impossible to move plus i removed the carpet and all the clothes to make space! This is a mess and i wouldn't recommend or order more wardrobe from them.

Sharps is very unreliable. I booked a first appointment on Thursday 14 th July at 1.30 pm and I no One turned up in slough. This company made me plan my day around my appointment.!!! I rang sharp and lame excuse someone had Covid but they didn’t ring to cancel to let me know .. again appointment. Made 17 th Sunday at 4 pm i spoke to staff member and we re arranged .. the staff member was in slough around 11 Am and thought she could fit me in!! But I was at work so She couldn’t be bothered to drive all the way back to slough!for 4 pm!! ! I was too naive to understand all this again appointment made 22 friday today !!! 11 am I worked my day around this apointment and someone in office said it wasn’t put on the system.. the real reason why the designer didn’t turn up today is because something closer and better came along!! For sharps that’s more profitable so It wasn’t worth them coming to my appointment in slough Incase I didnt want to buy their products !! I wasted my time on this company !! I rang sharp office again and thankfully cancelled 25 th July 6.30 pm . How would sharps like it if customer wasted their time !!??

Account number 6Y9007 Worst experience with Sharps, never use them. We ordered an office room fit out and wardrobes for 3 bedrooms. Each time an installation job was booked in, it was delayed. First installer did a rush job, subsequent installers didn’t turn up, or were not briefed on the requirements. There were several cancellations and uncoordinated delivery of materials. Original estimate for 10 days effort took 10 months and there are still outstanding installation issues. Despite being patient and providing access for multiple remediation attempts to take place, Sharps took for granted our flexibility and goodwill. They are not good for any kind of managed installation, quality of work was very poor eg wrong colour panels, wrong design, shelves not evenly spaced out, shoddy finishing. Installation managers appeared on site attempting to fix things, however only made promises they couldn’t follow up on. We will never use big brands again. A smaller company would have done a much better job than this. Waste of time dealing with this company, they cannot be trusted. Account number 6Y9007 for reference. See attached photos which show just some of the installation issues and negligence

Initial visit to store was pretty disappointing. I visited the Cheltenham store to have a look at what was on offer & in the hope of talking to someone who would be able to give an indication of what the design I wanted would cost. Store was tiny & the sales assistant(?) didn't really appear to know much about what she was selling (not sure that selling is the right word as she couldn't even give me an indication of price). Had a quick look around & she booked in a designer to visit. Overall feeling underwhelmed at this point as I'd made a special trip out just for this. A few days later, met Jasmine (my designer) at the house. She had a measure up & we worked through a design together, she was more than happy to go back over & change things & look at different options. More than happy with the service Jasmine provided, just not keen on how the business model works. Jasmine is only able to carry small material samples around in the car which makes it hard to try & fully visualise what's going to be installed - this is where being able to get a basic design done in store would be more beneficial in my opinion. Only after spending over an hour going through this process was I finally able to be given an a price, which was only valid if I agreed to go ahead there & then. Otherwise I'd lose one of the discounts that had been applied which i believed equated to around £700, so not a small difference. Again I understand the business model & why they would do it that way but when you're about to spend thousands of pounds, it would be nice to have a bit of time to consider your options. They could easily give a 7 day time frame & (as long as no changes are needed) allow for the contract to be agreed & paid for by phone/email/online. Anyway, agreed to go ahead with ordering & Jasmine sorted the paperwork & took initial 25% Deposit. Later that day I received a phone call to book in the surveyor. About 3 days later, I met the surveyor on site. I can't remember his name but a pretty uneventful visit. He just had to do a check that what had been designed would actually work & fit in the space available. No problems here, I just left him to it & then had to sign a couple of bits. He was on his way with installation booked around 8 weeks later (w/c 13/6) with a note on the system that I'd like sooner if possible. Around 6 weeks later, email received to confirm delivery & installation date as well as take the second payment (65% of total). Delivery confirmed for the Friday before installation (10/6), this all happened without a problem. Text received the day before with a 3 hour delivery window with two vans turning up the following morning to deliver. Installation was booked to start the following Wednesday (15/6). Received a call after delivery asking if the installer could start on Tuesday instead (no problem). Received another call & email later the same day asking if he could start Monday afternoon (confirmed on the Monday no problem) Dawid (installer) arrived at around 1.30 on Monday, returned Tuesday just after 8am until about 4-4.30. Returned on the Wednesday around 8am & finished up & gone by around 2pm. Dawid gave a quick run through of the wardrobes when done & final payment of 10% had to be made online. No problems with Dawid at all, he was happy to get on with his job so left him to it. After completion, all waste was left in a pile in my front garden & was told that a waste collection had been included free of charge as I'd spent over £5k. Collection has been booked & hoping it will be gone today but be prepared to have a pile of waste for a couple of days after completion The product - I'm happy with it, there are a couple of bits that aren't perfect but nothing that will bother me too much. There's a join in the framework around the doors top & bottom due to the length of the wardrobe but I was made aware of this at design stage. Also, the sliding doors are handless which I like but due to the soft close it can be awkward to open the doors that are set back. Installation was only finished two days ago & haven't started using them yet so can't comment on usability/long term performance. Overall happy with the final product. Would be happy to use the majority of the team of people I dealt with again. Value for money - I spent a lot more than I was expecting to spend but didn't really know what to expect. I feel I could have found an alternative for quite a bit cheaper. Would I buy from Sharps again - yes if the price is right (assuming my experience using the wardrobes is good). However, now I know how their business model works, I would definitely shop around elsewhere first though & try to get more of an idea of layout/design sorted before the designers visit

The savaya was brilliant. The designer although lovely booked me in for things that couldn't be done. For example the color ways I had chosen could not be done in the style that I had chosen, But he didn't tell me this. The surveyor had to spend a lot longer with me as we re did the whole thing.
