“Arranged a 4pm appointment a week in advance with Sharps (Carlisle). I made arrangements to finish work early, along with my Wife, only to find that we arrived home an arrogant sounding salesman left a message wanting to do us a favour?? and re-arrange for an earlier appointment. Obviously this could not be done as we were not home to take the call! On returning the call to say I was at home for our 4pm meeting as appointed. The same salesman said he would ring back in 5 minutes and never did (not even now 24 hours later!) We are not practiced in begging people to come and take our money, so Sharps can go and whistle - this is good news for the smaller local trader as one of them will get to fit out our 3 double bedrooms. So relieved though, after reading facebook reviews!!!”

“From the moment I contacted Sharps to enquire about a fitted bedroom the service was second to none. The salesman, the surveyor and the fitter were all very professional, nothing was too much trouble. I would recommend Sharps to anyone who required this type of service. “Do not be taken in by their sales techniques offering huge discounts. We had an under eaves full length of the bedroom, open fronted. No way is it value for money, the one day fitting quoted by the surveyor turned out to be almost 3 days. Sharps obviously have no concern over delivery drivers/ fitter walking over cream carpets during very wet weather. We contacted Sharps on several occasions concerning this only to be told a pack of lies by customer services. Total differences of opinion between fitter who I must say was a very nice man, the surveyor and the designer. Would not recommend to anyone.”

“I am very pleased with my Sharps fitted wardrobes. They lift the whole room as the white doors reflect light into what was previously quite a dard room having only one window. The service was excellent from the first meeting with their salesman to final installation. The salesman made helpful suggestions as to design and Sharps made no fuss when I wanted to change the colour of the doors a week or so later. The finished wardrobes are just as described and as I expected them to be. The materials were delivered on time and all packaging etc cleared away. I would not hesitate to use them again in the future or recommend them to family and friends.”

“I am very impressed with my Sharps bedroom furniture. I was delighted with the customer service and the meticulous attention to detail by the designer, the inspector and the fitter. The inconvenience of having to completely clear the room was the worst part, but well worth the end result.”

“Sharps provided the worst service I have encountered. We had shelves and wardrobes in three rooms. The whole process took approximately six weeks longer than agreed with delays at every stage and a very poor unapologetic response from customer services. Delivery of materials was delayed, fitters started and finished late, fitters incorrectly cut materials and we had to make 10 complaints in order to get the finished product. It was agreed over the phone that a specific discount would be applied but this was not applied when the bill was sent. There is a very out-dated attitude to customer service which is a pity as the actual physical product was quite good.”

“I cannot recommend Sharps highly enough in terms of both the superb quality of product they are selling and their excellent customer service. We were having four bedrooms fitted, which in itself required a high level of planning and designing. Their consultation and design service was second to none and they were happy to return to our home free of charge on two occasions in order to come up with the best possible design solutions for each of our children individual storage needs. Paul Baron, who fitted our wardrobes was nothing short of a master craftsman. His work is exceptional and he completed the project well under time so that everyone was back in their bedrooms in time for the weekend. Rachel Vincent.”

“had fitted wardrbes fitted in bedroom happy the service everything went as planned no hold ups installer was first class tradesman and did an excellant job .Couple of negative points slightly over priced for materials used and Sharps commitment to you that they will contact you on conpletion to ensure you have no queries and are happy with the installation two months later still waiting Sharps Thomas Tait”

“Great end result. Our room now has space, and the finish is wonderful. One comment would be time. It took two visits from the salesman and another from a surveyor before it could start. However the time gave us a chance to consider what we wanted. Delivery was on time, but does take up a lot of space when you fit three rooms. The installer was great. Very prompt (even at 7:30am) which meant I had little disruption to my day. He worked hard and was clean. Installation took 4 days, which was more than we were originally told by the salesman. I was also surprised that only one person was scheduled to fit 3 rooms. Overall very pleased with result.”

“Beautiful, high quality fitted wardrobes which have totally transformed our master bedroom. The end-to-end service was excellent overall. The only disappointing element was the lack of flexibility offered with respect to the delivery and installation. Had it not been for the poor services during this aspect of the sale, Sharps would have got 5 stars from us!”

“We had fitted wardrobes in our master bedroom, verygood overall. The design visit was very useful, answered all questions and got great advise on the best use of our space. Delivery was ontime and was fine to change date when firrst date was inconvient. The installer was great, he arrived on time and worked hard to getfinished early.”

“I purchased some wardrobes for our dressing room this Summer and found Sharps service, communication, arrangements for installation and installation to be excellent. However the person who visited us could have shown us more samples. I found that we had to visit a show room to reassure me about the choice we had made. The wardrobes were expensive when considering the materials they consist of. They look great”

“More than happy with our fitted bedroom from Sharps. From Salesman to fitter, it was completed in just over a month. Customer Services kept us updated re delivery etc. There was no hard sell and the price was very good. The quality is really good and we opted for the cheapest range. The fitter did a great job, even my fussy pants time served joiner of a Dad was impressed!! You have to dispose of the rubbish and packaging but our fitted packed it all into a few boxes so it was easily disposed of. Hardly any mess left. I would certainly recommend Sharps and would use them again. Mrs Matthew, Portsoy, Aberdeenshire”

“After seeing an advert on TV, I applied for a catalogue online. Within an hour I recieved a call from Sharps who thoroughly answered all my questions without being pushy. They set up a consultation when was convenient for me. I was extremely happy with the man who came out to do the design service. He really did know his stuff and was honest about what would and wouldn't work in the room. He was very personable and an absolute pleasure. This is also true in relation to the wardrobe fitter. Very professional and fantastic finish! I am really pleased with our fitted wardrobes and dressing table. Would defiantly use Sharps again and would highly recommend! “The rep turned up on time and was very helpful and professional. I had a good idea of what I wanted and he used his expertise to build on this. I was delighted with the plans and got a good price quote. A follow up meeting was carried out with my son so I can't comment. On the day of fitting the wardrobes, the fitter was a bit late. He was quite grumpy and blamed me for giving a wrong phone number (the new number had been given to Sharps but his paperwork was not updated). I offered him a drink but he wasn't interested- just wanted to get on with the job. This set the scene really- he was very unapproachable to the point that when I needed to go to the shops I left him a note rather than telling him. One thing that was never mentioned was that the rubbish would be left for us to clear - so be warned. On completion, the fitter asked us to check his work, when I said how lovely the wardrobes were, he just asked me for the final payment. Mr personality- not. However, just because the fitter had poor customer service techniques, doesn't detract from the excellent job he did. I love the wardrobes and am happy to recommend Sharps”
