“Reall unhappy with Sharps. I would recommend you avoid them at all costs. Had their sales chap design a wardrobe for us and we paid a deposit to proceed. When their surveyor visited he confirmed that the design was simply unworkable. Two futher meeting were arrange where the surveyor and sales chap attend togther, but on both instances the sales chap failed to show up. At this point we cancelled our order and have been chasing them for the last 2 months to get our deposit back and, no, we still haven't received it. Being sent around the houses each time we chase them. Now considering legal action.”

“i was left very unhappy . Arranged two appointments with the designer after the first visit ,as the Surveyor said that they could not fit back to back wardrobes . I think the designer is out of order ,as i have wasted two days waiting for him to arrive . LMontgomery”

“Sharps attended our home for a design visit as we wanted to get floor to celling fitted wardrobes in the main bedroom. The whole experience was wonderful. There was lots to choose from and we were even able to see samples of the wood/doors before choosing which was great. The designer knew what we wanted and drew it all up for us in a design plan. The finished result was even better, the storage space that was created is simply perfect and the quality of the fitting cannot be faulted. We certainly would recommend.”

“Thanks to sharps, i have the perfect wardrobe! My sliding wardrobes are the best thing ever. The installation was quick and they communicated very well with us. The amount of space in each compartment is amazing! I have a hidden bookshelf, where i store dvds, books and beauty products. There's even room for my vast collection of bags! Milly Ayom”

“Salesman was very helpful in assisting to design the bedroom so as to make the best use of the available space. Delivery & fitting dates went as planned. Fitter was polite and well presented. Installation was completed on schedule to our complete satisfaction. This was the second bedroom we had fitted by Sharps”

“Just had my wardrobes fitted by Sharps, they are terrible one set have to be replaced the customer service was terrible, a word of advise, never pay all the money before they install the wardrobes because this includes the fitters fee, that's why they ask you for 2 payments, I did this big mistake!!!! Their customer services is also terrible!!! They don't care if you have to take time off work to have all the work carried out again - the problem is apparently some of the fitters are excellent, but as I found out to my cost not all of them are, buyer beware!!!”

“A very positive experience at every stage. Staff were polite and punctual and the quality of the finished product is very good. I considered the quote to be pricy, but my tight deadline was met with no problems. A minor problem with the wrong drawer fronts being sent was sorted immediately with a special delivery. The fitter was very skilful and left no mess. Even the delivery men were friendly and helpul and the office staff contacted me regularly to make sure that all was in order. All in all I experienced a project that was professionally delivered.”

“I have had wardrobes fitted in my bedroom. they are beautiful, and are of high quality. Carl, the fitter, was brilliant. overall an excellent experience, and would highly recommend Sharps. Ilse Haddad”

“Fitted cupboards in 2 bedrooms. Good quality furniture - reliable. Reasonable prices. Bit of to and fro'ing with the planning but soon sorted out. Needed a hinge replacement - all got sorted out very smoothly. Would recommend and use again.”

“really really poor service and very shoddy goods, really not worth the money, the joints are realy bad and despite an imminent third try to put things right and as the above review we were promised that someone was coming to take materials away that were delivered without notice and blocking a public area, still no joy!!!”

“Sharps fitted our wardrobes so poorly that even their surveyor couldn't believe it. Gaps, chips on the MDF, even black marker pen all over the doors. They then re-fitted the wardrobes and left the waste blocking our driveway. No sign of collection as promised and Christmas is coming. The replacement wardrobes are not finished but that hasn't stopped them from asking for the balance. Awful”

“Arranged a 4pm appointment a week in advance with Sharps (Carlisle). I made arrangements to finish work early, along with my Wife, only to find that we arrived home an arrogant sounding salesman left a message wanting to do us a favour?? and re-arrange for an earlier appointment. Obviously this could not be done as we were not home to take the call! On returning the call to say I was at home for our 4pm meeting as appointed. The same salesman said he would ring back in 5 minutes and never did (not even now 24 hours later!) We are not practiced in begging people to come and take our money, so Sharps can go and whistle - this is good news for the smaller local trader as one of them will get to fit out our 3 double bedrooms. So relieved though, after reading facebook reviews!!!”

“From the moment I contacted Sharps to enquire about a fitted bedroom the service was second to none. The salesman, the surveyor and the fitter were all very professional, nothing was too much trouble. I would recommend Sharps to anyone who required this type of service. “Do not be taken in by their sales techniques offering huge discounts. We had an under eaves full length of the bedroom, open fronted. No way is it value for money, the one day fitting quoted by the surveyor turned out to be almost 3 days. Sharps obviously have no concern over delivery drivers/ fitter walking over cream carpets during very wet weather. We contacted Sharps on several occasions concerning this only to be told a pack of lies by customer services. Total differences of opinion between fitter who I must say was a very nice man, the surveyor and the designer. Would not recommend to anyone.”

“I am very pleased with my Sharps fitted wardrobes. They lift the whole room as the white doors reflect light into what was previously quite a dard room having only one window. The service was excellent from the first meeting with their salesman to final installation. The salesman made helpful suggestions as to design and Sharps made no fuss when I wanted to change the colour of the doors a week or so later. The finished wardrobes are just as described and as I expected them to be. The materials were delivered on time and all packaging etc cleared away. I would not hesitate to use them again in the future or recommend them to family and friends.”

“I am very impressed with my Sharps bedroom furniture. I was delighted with the customer service and the meticulous attention to detail by the designer, the inspector and the fitter. The inconvenience of having to completely clear the room was the worst part, but well worth the end result.”

“Sharps provided the worst service I have encountered. We had shelves and wardrobes in three rooms. The whole process took approximately six weeks longer than agreed with delays at every stage and a very poor unapologetic response from customer services. Delivery of materials was delayed, fitters started and finished late, fitters incorrectly cut materials and we had to make 10 complaints in order to get the finished product. It was agreed over the phone that a specific discount would be applied but this was not applied when the bill was sent. There is a very out-dated attitude to customer service which is a pity as the actual physical product was quite good.”
