I agree entirely with the previous reviewer, especially on the point of demanding immediate payment on completion. Once Sharps have your money they lose all interest in you. The assurances initially received regarding collection of the rubbish never came to fruition, customer services (they need to change that description!) simply did not want to know - i have just paid a further sum to have everything collected. My wife and i will also not, (my original review is now entirely withdrawn), be recommending Sharps to anybody else.

I must say I am most dissapointed with the after service . I had sliding doors fitted and found one of the doors had a large scratch on the side and the silver trim had been cut short and also there was a gap in the track where the door slides . I informed Sharps who said they would have a new door made and would send a fitter out to correct the other faults . The fitter arrived 3 days later with a door, after unwrapping it realised the wrong door had been made . Sharps informed me another door would be with me in a couple of days and the fitter arranged to phone me the morning it was to be delivered , I waited all day and he didnt ring so I phoned him and was told sharps office were meant to ring me to tell me door would be arriving a week later . The following Monday Sharps rang me but I was at work and unable to take call ,so an hour later I returned call , no-one seem to know why I,d called and said would look into it and call me back that morning . No body called so late afternoon i rang again and again was told someone would call me back . I waited two days and recieved no call so I rang Sharps and informed them no-one had got back to me . Later on that day I recieved a call to say fitter would be there to fit new door and correct track etc the following week . The fitter arrived with new door but informed me no track had been delivered !!!! He phoned the office and explained he couldnt complete job without the track , the lady apologised and said would get back to me that morning , recieved no phone call !!!! This company is an absolute joke and I would definately not recommend Sharps to any-one .

Absolutely shocking customer service, would not recommend this company. Designer came out 18/072015, then the surveyor a week later, so far so good, then it all goes downhill from there. After been told that we could have a delivery and fitting date to suit us, don't believe them. They only want everything to suit them . After several weeks and numerous telephone calls, we are still no where near a date that suits us. They want to deliver everything a week before fitting date. Still waiting for them to agree a date that suit us. Asked to speak to a manager and was told they only deal with delivery and fitting. So annoyed with this company that I am considering contacting Watchdog.

DO NOT GO ANYWHERE NEAR THESE COWBOYS. Sharps, or "Sharks" as i now call them left me with a very average looking room but also left me with a room full of scrapes, dents, pencil lines on walls, labels left on shelves and an extremely painfull to deal with customer services dept. You would think that you are going to get the "Rolls-royce" of wardrobes given the price you pay but i was left with an 80's Lada with scratches on it. Also, for the privillage of having "Sharks" in to your home to wreck it (oh, and my bathroom door was scraped badly), they leave you with all of the packaging, off-cuts and dust they have created to dump. It's not just small bits either. It's 3 metre lengths! I suppose that's ok if you have a Luton sized van! For ME to resolve this, I had to demand that someone from Sharks visit my house to see this damage for themselves as the customer services woman thought it was "normal damage" i.e. superficial decoration. I eventually agreed with money off (a measly £200) so I could get on and use my over priced Lada walk in wardrobe. I am now cutting in around every part of my Lada wardrobe before painting roof and walls and waiting on my newly ordered new bathroom door (remember.....they damaged that as well! The funny thing is, they tell you that it would be a good time to freshen up the room (paint) before the wardrobe is fitted. If you want an over priced wardrobe, damage to your house, enjoy phone calls with arrogant people and like cutting up waste chipboard before taking it to the tip.....then go to Sharps. If you have read my review, save yourself money, hassel and stress by getting a professional local joiner in to carry out work as I should have done.

After a disastrous 5 weeks with Hammonds I went to sharps.....Why oh why did I bother. Very nice designer, very nice surveyor. Paid the deposit, phoned me Last Friday , all done, we will deliver a week Monday and start fitting Tuesday. Received a call today......sorry we don't do the wardrobes you picked, can you change to a different style! Asked why only now being told when apparently they are ready for delivery.......they lied! Asked for full refund, then informed if I was cancelling them it would cost me! Let them try....they cannot deliver my order, they cancelled not me but I am glad I did! Very unprofessional.

I made an appointment with Sharps earlier this year. The designer that came around was with me for 2 1/2 hours during which time he told me all about his other companies (including legal and carpentry), talked to me about my plans if I died, and tried to get me to change my gas and electric to the company he was a sales rep for. I complained and got another designer around who was much better - or so I thought. The surveyor came around and told me that the designs that had been drawn were not feasible. The wardrobes designed would not fit in the allocated space, the drawers inside the wardrobe wouldn't even be able to open and I would have to have another designer around. I contacted Stuart Smith, South & West Regional Sales Manager, and Peter Welsh, Operations Director, and whilst both were initially helpful, they stopped responding to my emails and so the matter is still open. I took my business to Betta Living who were professional throughout and for a much better price. Please don't think I am a bitter reviewer - I am just providing an honest opinion of what turned out to be a shambolic experience from start to finish.

NEVER NEVER AGAIN !!! After 3 months of total disruption the bedroom was finally fitted. The dressing table inset draw was not delivered, had to phone and request it, 10 days later I am still waiting for the rubbish and excess wood to be removed from the front of my house and then lo and behold this morning the panel on the headboard fell right off !!!!! Very unhappy - Cobham.

A frustrating & disappointing experience. The designer & surveyor were professional & gave a great sales pitch! After this everything went downhill. Telephone service was horrendous..... rude & unhelpful staff. Was made to feel a hindrance! The date for fitting wardrobe got changed 3 times which I meant I used up annual leave unnecessarily. Wardrobes poorly fitted - had to have fitter return to correct issues which meant another day of staying in waiting! Was told excess wood & waste would be collected so was left outside front of house - I phoned 3 times to chase this & still no collection. Sick to death of looking at it so ended up clearing all myself! Have also been over charged & still awaiting a refund 2wks later. Would absolutely not recommend or use Sharps again.

If you want your blood pressure to go through the roof then order a Wardrobe from Sharps! I have spent £2,295.00 on the 29th May 2015. For this investment, I have experienced: One failed delivery date, Three failed fitting appointments, Four scheduled days off work Two bedrooms out of action for four weeks I have missed an important family event, been unable to accommodate my friends during a summer period or have both of my sons return home for a break. However, what I do have to date, is a pile of chipboard on my bedroom floor that is currently next to useless! Am I upset? You bet! I have previously complained, once by phone and once in the showroom. I have requested they collect their delivery and refund my money. No joy there either. It appears to me that Sharps are in the business of Design and Delivery only. The fitting part is probably put out to contract where they have little or no control. Particularly when managing contingency to cover sickness or over-run in scheduling. They have taken my money so I guess they have met their objective. The first two appointments (Design & survey) were very professional. Managing customer expectation there after has been appalling. As for the quality of installation, I remain optimistic. I have had Sharps Wardrobes in a previous home (some 16-17 years ago) and they were excellent. However, in todays modern age a customer service experience of this nature is unacceptable. On completion of my wardrobes, I will once again, comment on Sharps Bedrooms. - Hopefully, more favourably this time. The fitters are due to call tomorrow (the fourth appointment) between 08:00 and 09:00. Watch this space!

Extremely stressful experience Still waiting for the fitter, he was scheduled for Monday 20 /07 then they moved to Monday 27 , then moved again to Saturday 1/08... Today, Wednesday 29 they changed again to Monday 3rd ...... Are they playing with us??? They quickly taken the money and then they cannot keep their part!!! It's 2 weeks now that me and my daughter are sleeping in the living room, because both our rooms are been empty for make them ready for the delivery . This is absurd we are camping in our house, I aspect more from a big company like Sharps, but this is my last time I'll be using this company. The point is that they don't communicate with their customers either, we have to call them to know what's happening !!!! For me I call them from now on LIARS AND THIEVES !!!!! People be aware of them, don't be fooled by their promises, they won't keep them and you risk a big disappointment .

We've ordered a couple of wardrobes from Sharps. designer and survey was good, helpful and friendly. Installation? We've been waiting for a month, booked for 10 days ago, all material delivered on our bedroom in such a way that we cannot use it. The day arrive but no fitters. Rebooked for today. Waited and waited... surprise? They did not turn up either! Did not even have the decency of calling us, we called them to find out where the fitters were! They were quick to take our money, but post-sales customer service is absolutely terrible. Will report back if and when they eventually turn up and how good the installation is.

Absolutely terrible! After sales service is atrocious. Sharps hook you with a stellar sales pitch only to leave you high and dry once they have your cash. The company slogan should be 'we just don't care, there is nothing we can do'. AVOID AT ALL COSTS, IT IS JUST NOT WORTH IT!!

We have had sharpes to fit 2 bedrooms in our house, on two separate occasions. The first fitting went off with any problem . While The actual fitters are excellent crafts men. The structural engineers that have to come round are not as pleasant or professional . In fact the first one was extremely rude to say the least. The second one came along an hour early than the arranged time, fortunately for him we were in. On the day of fitting one of the large panels that had been delivered previously was damaged.. Where is their factory quality production checking?.? It was arranged for a new panel to be delivered at 6.30 am the following morning , very stupidly this panel was delivered but was also damaged. Again a third panel had to be delivered. How ridiculous is this. The amount if waste at the end of the fitting was phenomenal. The fitter said phone sharpes they will remove it. Did they no? Never even bothered to return our call. We do have an issue with them that we would like sorting their after sales care is none existent. We have phoned them several times we have emailed them as instructed 6 weeks after the fitting 2 emails later still no contact. My advice find another company

Well were do I start booked in February its been a nightmare the coving was cracked in the middle the doors were not straight the draws were not closing properly the first fitter had the couldn't care less attitude when we mentioned the problems he seemed pissed off in a hurry to go home the area manager came out to see the crap workmanship.he sent out another fitter to sort it in the meantime my blood pressure was up due to stress I work nights over the 6 months we were sleeping on the floor clearing the room numerous times phoning today they sent wrong panel were do we go from here they promised to rectify the work the room looks like a bombs hit it DO NOT BUY FROM SHARPS Very incompetent unorganized so called company this wardrobe what we purchased cost us 3,400 and its still not right its like they stole from us and gave us inferior chip board crap never again SHARPS are the pits'

Sales guy gave a great pitch but beware, things start to fall apart from then onwards. Missed tech inspection dates, delivery and installation..... product is 2nd grade at best (chipboard.... is it the 80s!). Poor quality, overheard the "master builder" tell his side kick he's had two weeks training! Finish of product a million miles away from the sales pitch of "they'll look they have always been there", didn't realize he meant they would look battered and old! Uneven joins, dents and scratches, screws visible through door; Even internal layout does not match design! Not happy and to top it off, they didn't finish installation and now no one in customer service department knows what is happening! Do not use them! Court action pending!

The Sharps salesman came to see us to quote for a fitted wardrobe, when he arrive he was all smiles and polite when we told him we were not making an instant decision for a three thousand pound wardrobe he practically told us off for wasting his time and couldn't leave quick enough. he told us that if we didn't order immediately there was no chance of us ordering as out of his 1.4 million worth of sales only 3 people who didn't order on the day bothered to call. The reason is clearly due to his not taking refusal very well and after looking elsewhere we would not buy from him if he was £1000 cheaper. I had to take an urgent phone call from my son while he was pressure selling to us and he told my soon to be wife he must have scared me off with the price and would I like a finance package Don't waste your time with this company you will be very disappointed with the waste of time pushy salesman and over the top non competitive prices. I am now using a competitor who is selling us the same product at a much better price

Just had some sliding door wardrobes sort off fitted by sharps. The salesman promised a quality bespoke fitting nothing could be further from the truth. The parts arrived damaged which delayed the installation. The fitter was sub contracted poor installation still waiting for field installation manager to come and see the poor fitting and the rubbish and mess that has been left 2 weeks now!!! Numerous phone calls made to Sharps to complain they don't get back to you. When you manage to get hold of them you get a different person each time who does not resolve anything and they don't call back! The replacement door turned up but no one contacted us to arrange for some one to be in. We were all at work we made rushed arrangements for our son to nip out of work but when he got home the delivery driver had gone. Door still damaged that they have fitted. We have not paid our deposit as they didn't request it another mistake on there part. But good on our part as they won't be receiving it either until all issues resolved. I would definitely not recommend using this cowboy company shoddy, shoddy, shoddy. Shame on you Sharps!

Disappointing all round I'm afraid. Surveyor never turned up despite chasing repeatedly. Installation cancelled at very last mninute so lost a day's pay - no offer to compensate. Installer pointed out incorrect measurements and also faults with materials. Promised to correct these the following week but has never happened despite repeated phone calls (when the phone was actually answered.....) Have emailed CEO twice but not even the courtesy of an acknowledgement, let alone a reply. Customer service have promised twice to ring me back "in 10 minutes" but still waiting days later. Never again and sadly could certainly not recommend
