Sharps are shocking!.. Booked an appointment for 7pm and never turned up or even rang to say they couldnt make it. Rang them up next morning and they had the guts to say they did come but no one answered. This is a lie because we was in all day and dog even barks when door goes. If this was the case then surely they would ring me up? time wasters

We wanted 4 wardrobes built in 2 bedrooms in a new build apartment. The Sharps sales guy was very helpful and came up with some ideas that met our expectations. Agreeing a price, we paid our deposit on January 19 2015. The guy who measures came and confirmed the measurements of the salesman and advised that we would be contacted for delivery in the next few weeks. In early March I called Sharps sales office who advised there was a technical query and that they would call me back. No call came. I called their office for the next two months chasing an update, ultimately they told me that the technical manager wouldn't agree to one of the designs (they weren't sure which one). After a few more calls (by me), we finally confirmed which one it was and cancelled that one from the order and agreed a revised price with their sales guy, who continued to be very helpful. Weeks went by so I chased up again, waiting for a delivery date. Apparently the technical manager now had a problem with another wardrobe, so we went through the process of cancelling that one too. This time I was given a delivery time, an apology and a further discount to heal the pain. The Friday before the delivery, of the remaining two, I received a call from the sales guy, more problems; the delivery was not going ahead. When I checked my credit card they had charged my credit card for the whole job that they were refusing to do. A little perturbed I called them and asked them to credit it back to me, which they did in the next few business days. They now wanted their field manager to come and view the job for the remaining two wardrobes and set a date for his visit, which was to be confirmed. Surprising no confirmation came and no site visit occurred. I have been assured that they can fix it, but it is now late June 2015 and five months from when the deposit was taken, I just don’t want to keep chasing them anymore. Good luck if you decide to do business with them, I've asked for my money back and I will start from scratch with a company that might actually show an interest in its customers.

Sharps damaged my new wooden floor during installation of wardrobes, and gouged holes in walls when delivering materials. Still waiting 2 months later for all this to be rectified. Quality of materials is poor (MDF) and heavily overpriced. Workmanship was also poor, since wardrobes had to be refitted (more days lost from work!). Trade waste left behind after the work had finished. It seems that it is the customer's responsibility to arrange to have it taken away, which is far from satisfactory. Totally disillusioned with this company.

Sharps are basically a very slick sales organisation who are fantastic at reeling you in, promising you the world, taking your money then sub-contracting the work out to any Tom, Dick or Harry who will work for their below average wages. Once the sales team recede into the background you are at the mercy of whoever gets the work. Their customer support and service desk staff are among the worst I have ever encountered, they make sympathetic noises and apologise a lot but it stops there. They never ring you back when they say they will, they don't seem to have a proper customer database system so you have to keep explaining your problems over and over to different people, they are JUST AWFUL! DO NOT TOUCH THIS COMPANY WITH A TEN FOOT POLE! AND MAKE SURE YOU TELL EVERYONE YOU KNOW AS WELL!

Terrible service. Do not be fooled by the professionalism of their excellent sales team. Once they have payment and you commit you are treated as a second class citizen. I have experienced a cancellation, missing items and incorrectly cut products(despite clear instructions and sizes on their paperwork from the Sharps surveyor). Upon redelivery they would not take away the wrong sized items. We have been without our bedroom for over 2 weeks, cancelled other trades and have wasted days holiday...all of which they are not willing to compensate due to the T&C's. Having requested cancellation, despite all of Sharps failings they would not do so without us incurring a large cost. DO NOT USE...we are so so disappointed.

The fitter was great couldn't have done enough. We had three bedrooms and had fitted wardrobe in all. Nothing but problems with them there customer service / admin dept rubbish not caring at all. In total took four months from start to finish. When done hinges broke fitter ordered new ones but they sent cheap Chinese hinges instead of good quality German ones. This cost us £12,000 and they use cheap hinges when fitter complained about hinges he got told put them in and we see how it goes. Best advice I give is stay away from this company had nothing but trouble with them.

Sharps are not a trustworthy company on that basis that despite having a firm signed order (after spending 12 hours plus finalising 8 room) with them they claimed they made a mistake pricing it and have forwarded me an invoice (not even had a survey done yet) for 25% higher price. They just don understand a signed order is a contract and are desperately trying to ignore that matter now. Their customer service is almost as bad as BT. I would not recommend them to anyone.

BEWARE They have no problem breaching the contract. I have placed an order last month with your designerl. A deposit was taken and the surveyor visit was arranged for early May. Surveyor did show up and advised that the office will call for installation dates, which they did. Installation was arranged. I followed up with the installation department before the date just to confirm again. They suggested that this is now a technical issue and that I should call the sales department which I did. Initially the lady in the sales department in South East England also tried to brush me off with the usual line we will get back to you, but when I insisted, I was transferred to the Sales Manager. After several calls close to the end of business I was advised that Sharps is unable to fulfil the order now as you stopped manufacturing this range. Whist I understand that ranges are stopped, I do not understand why the designer still has the original range in his catalogue, that a deposit is taken and a delivery date is arranged and that during none of their visits Sharps was able to advise that there might be a risk with the range being out. For me the issue is even more significant, as I do have already the same range in the existing bedroom we wanted to extend. Last time I ordered with them, this is for sure.

We paid more than £6,000 to have Sharps fit two large floor-to-ceiling wardrobes with sliding doors in our home. It is the worst decision I ever made. The wardrobes themselves look like they came from IKEA. In fact, I think IKEA would have made a better job. We had so many problems with them that Sharps had to return several times to put things right, and they are still not as they should be. In addition to this, Sharps caused a lot of damage to my home, including structural damage to one of my walls. We had to have our hallway redecorated because of two large holes gouged out. And the mess in our home was just terrible. For two weeks, our home looked like a bomb site. We actually had to make a claim against Sharps, to correct the damage, and they became extremely unpleasant and uncooperative at this stage. To cut a long and very sad story short, they eventually returned £1,000 of our money. They were rude and uncaring. I would not advise anyone to use them. In fact I strongly advise you to go anywhere but Sharps.

NEVER BUY FROM SHARPES. THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS APPALING AND THE MATERIALS USED ARE CHEAP! Could have received better matierials from Ikea. We have been waiting for a call back from Sharpes for over a month for a promise that someone would be coming out. Wish I never went with them at all.

Took 3 weeks to fit the wardrobe as they continuously delivered ill fitting parts. Customer service average, fitter poor- left mess everywhere and overall finish is distinctly average... Wouldn't recommend to anyone and judging by recent reviews neither would a lot of other people!

I ordered couple of wardrobes to scraps , the sales person at the time of the sales was very promising and everything was possible ,when the technichal person of them came there were so much "but" and " not possible" but it was too late and I had already waited for long time then after that I was contacted by them and more limitation was advised , then I told to myself if it is supposed to have this much limitation so it is not bespoke any more , I bough the wardrobe that I wanted from ikea and an handy man made it for me as good as bespoke ! at one eight price it is 17 days that I am following for the refund of the canceled orders of mine which I have got the cancellation approval from them already and yet no funds in my account and everybody in their office is confused why refund is not happened ! I strongly recommend not to go for it ! take care MB

Do not use Sharps. Absolutely appalling company/service. Ordered a study in January and told it would be fitted in 3 weeks. They came beginning of March, wrong doors fitted and some minor damage to shelf. Now middle of May and we have had various deliveries of more wrong doors/damaged doors, and I have lost numerous days earnings due to waiting in for deliveries which haven't materialised. Further damage by subsequent fitters. Customer service hopeless, do not care. Eventually a manager came out and promised he would sort it out. Final agreement that all the correct missing pieces would be delivered this morning and fitted this afternoon. Got a call just after 12 to say not now being delivered or fitted today, having emptied room yet again. Absolutely seething.

Still waiting to hear what level of compensation we can receive after such shockingly poor customer service from such a big company. Poor service. Poor communication. Deceived and dishonest. Would never recommend and would never use again. Cannot be trusted!
