Bad service poor customer care

Please don't expect the Sharpes tv advert promises. Such a poor service for such a high cost. Absolutely shocking. Last minute date changes. If you have a complaint about anything the girls are very rude on the phone. I would recommend buying the flat packs elsewhere and paying a fitter direct for half the cost. They leave behind loads of rubbish which becomes a extra.

do not go near them, very rude staff, once you pay the deposit, no way these cowboys will let you live in peace

We were left with an enormous gap at the top of the cornice of over 3 cms on one wardrobe and only 0.5 cms on the other wardrobe in the adjacent alcove. We were also left with chipped shelves and the top box not boxed in at the corner and an unsightly piece of wood next to the bay window

Dear Sharps, my in laws booked you to put in new wardrobes for them. They should have been installed already but you cancelled the first date with less than 24 hours notice. The installers came this morning. They have refused to lift the flat packs and have said they are not allowed to. I'm not sure how they install anything if they are not allowed to lift a flat pack. They have also refused to do the installation as my in laws bed is still in place. Let me tell you something about my amazing in laws. My mother in law has multiple sclerosis and osteoporosis and is mainly confined to an electric wheelchair. My father in law is blind, with a bad knee from his time in the army and he is in his eighties. I would love to know how you expect 2 disabled people to move flat packs and a bed? When the sales man and surveyor visited they both knew that my in laws were disabled and the limitations that they have. We are disgusted that they have been discriminated against in this way. They live in sheltered accommodation which should have given you a clue as to their situation. They have spent nearly 5 grand with you to get wardrobes that they can access themselves to help retain some independence and dignity. They booked you because you are a National known brand and supposedly the best, however you have left them in a right state. They are upset with how they have been treated, they are worried about how they are going to manage with all the disruption in their flat and they can't even get hold of anyone to speak to. I hope you are feeling proud of yourselves

Poor start. We have a very large bedroom and Sharpes are complaining that it is not an empty room. They would have less room in a 'normal' sized bedroom. I feel the whole process they are trying to intimidate us. They are supposed to be one of the best - please try treating your customers as though they are the best.

I have to admit and going against the grain of other reviews I thought sharpes were very professional and efficient. But the quality of the timber is rubbish(chipboard) I'm a builder by trade. I do a lot joinery you'll see in my photo's. we paid £4000 f or 2 bedside tables a chest of drawer a wardrobe and a dressing table. I could of bought the same thing from howdens or Argos for £500. The fitting was a joke, don't get me wrong it was very good. It took the guy less than 6 hours to fit over 2 days (3 hours each day) I make that the fitter was on £583 an hour. Don't get me wrong of course he wasn't on this sharpes made at least £3000 profit and slung the tradesman a couple of hundred quid a day at most. I took a picture of the sharpes wardrobe and one I made. One cost £4000 the other £200 and it is made from pine not chipboard see if you can spot the difference. Moral of this buy you furniture yourself and get a joiner to fit it for you. You'll save thousands.

Unbelievably poor. Terrible customer service form the outset and job which we were told would take 2 days has taken 4... and still going. Customer services have offered no assistance throughout. Such a rip off. Warn against using them at all costs.

We only got as far as the design visit. The 'design consultant' who came to our house was likely trying his best but was, to me personally, utterly infuriating. I found him to be condescending and rude, talking mostly of fluff and little of the actual product and service they could or even couldn't offer. We'd told him in no uncertain terms what we wanted/needed, from that he developed a drawing, which was possibly the furthest from what we had asked for as possible. We explained this and my husband and I worked together to come up with an alternative that would work. The 'design consultant' agreed with this and was originally positive then suddenly 'remembered' that 'they' had previously rejected a similar design, stating that 'they' probably wouldn't be able to do it. With this he was attempted to abdicate all responsibility. He further tried to convince me to an alternative design which was again specifically what we did not what and had been very clear about having no use for. I'm left feeling quite annoyed with so much of everyone's time wasted. Just be a bit more honest about the products and what you can and cannot offer. This is NOT a truly bespoke service. They cannot give you what you want or need if that doesn't fall inside their very narrow petty boxes and you're not going to hear about it any time soon. So use their services if you're lonely and need some interaction but if you want an actual result for a specific purpose then I absolutely do NOT recommend calling them.

Neither the designer nor the surveyer spotted the chimney breast in the room. When the fitter arrived on 27th February 2017, he asertained very quickly that the plans were not going to be constructable. The revised design is due to be built 10th - 11th April. I feel this has been too long to wait as I cleared my bedroom, as per Sharps instructions, in January.

Damaged paint work in hall way from bringing in equipment. Dirty black hand prints over cream wall where wardrobe fitted All rubbish left outside property for me to remove (including fitters endless fag butts) The responsibility for the rubbish being mine was never highlighted in the flashy sale process! No dust sheets or floor coverings brought on the days of fitting. Second wardrobe installation not finished as promised the surround looks ugly through poor fitting Very expensive would not recommend

This is the worst customer service I have ever received. The below is a list of issues I've had; - first installer caused considerable damage to my timber floor. - he installed a damage drawer and didn't install a hang rail or a mirror which was part of the design. - the person who came to install the missing parts didn't put any cardboard protection on the floor and damaged it further. - apparently, damage caused by Sharps is not their responsibility?! The level of damage they caused can only be described as reckless. - the end product isn't great. This is my second wardrobe installation by Sharps. The first one was fantastic, the second awful so it's a bit of a gamble. - to date, I have dealt with at least 10 people at Sharps. When there is an issue, they pass you from person to person. I suggest trying a different company who can provide better quality assurance and customer service.

Booked an appointment & no one showed or had common decency to telephone, held on phone for 35 mins no answer, wrote email, doubt that will be answered either. I'm so disappointed was so looking forward to having this done, oh well their loss, I found another firm, maybe it was an omen 😃

Poor quality materials, poor quality customer services, external fitters. They build all the wardrobe inside, they don´t move your furniture, they don´t clean after. If they don´t have space to build the wardrobe they will told you after you pay 90% without return and after they deliver the materials. The fitters are external workers and they have very poor communication with the factory. It took them two months to finish the wardrobe (when they told me it will take 2 days). The people in the phone where rude and put silly excuses instead of taking responsibility. At the end, after they have to come to my house 20 times, because the materials where completely wrong the compensation was just minimal and ridiculous. Don´t uses this company if you have heart problems.

Warning. Check on how bespoke your needs are! They are a very limited bespoke company. Apparently they can not help with the additional bespoke cabinet we requested. Their product and manufacturing facility is not geared up to make one off bespoke items such as this. (See photo) I am at a loss to see the complexity of our request! Oh yes, and check your invoice, they got the amount wrong, twice! Also check your delivery, ours were scratched as they were unwrapped. I could go on......
