If it could go wrong it did! Wrong design, and were sold a product they don't do - even though he spent 2 and half hours with us. The surveyor made up wrong plans as didn't add our curved bay window to the plan - he spent 3 hours with us and assured us the plan would be re-done and set out to us once he was back in the office (it wasn't). The technical team cut furniture to the sizes specified and didn't question that their 600 doors needed a support in the middle (be careful if are ordering these special size doors). Airing cupboard was designed as a closed in wardrobe with no air flow and no way to cut the shelves around the pipework or water tank - despite having taken photos of the area. First day the fitter did not show up (but give him due he did text to tell me). Second day a different fitter arrived and had to call out the area manager, who called off the job. Everything they delivered then had to be collected. Having taken finance I then got the letter to say the loan had completed and Sharps had been paid and my first re-payment was due in January 2018! Ultimately we have no wardrobes in our two bedrooms and are sleeping on the floor as I can't be bothered to put the beds back up - which we took down for the furniture to be fitted! If you decide to use Sharps be very careful, double check everything and question everything and get it in writing.

Beware of Sharps!¬I falsely thought they were a firm you could trust-how wrong can you be! I was going to have my spare bedroom decorated and wanted to have the old fitted wardrobe removed first and a new one fitted, so I thought Sharps would be a good company to do the job. Their designer, Kevin came and suggested someone to take out the wardrobe which was in situ. He gave me the number and told me to ring him and when he had done the job to let Sharps know so their surveyor could come and check the work before the fitters came. I did as he said and after Peter had taken out the wardrobe, got the surveyor back to check the work. The surveyor said that it hadn't been done correctly and some plastering should have been done to finish it off as their was a hole where you could see the ceiling and the framework should have been plastered. He said Peter should have known this or been told this and he took photos of the job and sent them to Kevin and also rang Kevin, explaining the problem. They agreed Peter needed to come back and do the plastering. This was arranged. He did come back-what a mistake! He obviously couldn't plaster-it looked like he'd thrown it on. It was a mess! I had to insist to Sharps that they sent the surveyor back. H e was shocked when he saw the mess Peter had made of it! He took photos again and sent them to Kevin. He said to me that I was right to send for him. Since then I have had to spend a lot of time contacting Sharps because they don't contact me and try to get something done about this! Sharps say it is nothing to do with them!!! One of their employees suggested I get this man to remove the wardrobe and I would never have signed a contract with Sharps to have their wardrobe if they couldn't have had the wardrobe taken out for me and now they are trying to get out of it and everyone at Sharps has passed the buck to someone else and now it has come back to Kevin again who has always insisted that I have 'his friend' Peter back for a 3rd time to give him another chance. Well, surprisingly, I have refused. I have spoken to a lot of people about this and not one has said I should have Peter back!! Eventually, I spoke to Susan in Customer Services (I had to ring her, although she had been made aware of the problem, she had made no attempt to ring me-so much for their customer relations!!) she said that she wasn't fully aware of the problem, she on part only knew some of it. Well, if she was doing her job properly she should have made herself fully aware of the problem as she later had to admit to me that it was 'serious'. Despite this, though passed, she ended up passing it back to Kevin!!!!!!! Are they all under Kevin's thumb or frightened of him in Sharp's. I am beginning to wonder what sort of hold he has over them all!! One thing she said which was very interesting was that there is someone else that they recommend to do the taking out of wardrobes (Kevin has always said he doesn't know anyone else but Peter, so this is a lie) and that Kevin's Boss has been told to recommend this person-Andrew, so Kevin would have been told about him by his Boss! The plot thickens. On Friday, after speaking to Customer Services, I was harangued by 4 mobile calls from Kevin. I answered the first, but when I realised that he was just going over the same ground about having Peter back, I wouldn't answer any more as he was stressing me out. I have had enough of his bullying tactics. I am not a well person and suffer from stress and stress related illnesses so I can well do without this. Sharps please take note! I shall be asking for compensation for all the stress you have caused me. If you don't want to suffer as I have and have all this hassle!!! stay well clear of Sharps. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED !

Ridiculous pricing, terrible service. I cannot rate them low enough - shame their isn't a zero stars option! Don't be fooled by half price sales and 15 or 25% off on top. They don't publish prices and I am sure double them to allow for "offers". Visiting staff unhelpful and shop staff don't listen and have little or no product knowledge. Avoid at all costs!

I have had to stick nearly every door and drawer edge. Shape did not want to know as the 7 year guarantee had just ended. I find it unacceptable that something so expensive should only last 7 years.

Rep came out to measure and the ideas for layout. He had not brought samples with him and said he would them send in the post. Another appointment was made for Him to return and to come out with his design layout. It was to be a large order for two bedrooms. One week later the samples still had not arrived. The day of the appointment, he failed to turn up and no one had made contact with me to say that he was not coming. After numerous telephone calls over three days, I was constantly reassured the Rep would call me. He never did. Finally I got a call back from the office who pursued him. Eventually he did telephone me all apologetic. His excuses was that he had forgotten to register the appointment, so he made apologies for forgetting. The samples eventually arrived but were very poor. So were useless. I felt that if this was the type of service at the beginning, can you image what the rest of the service would be. I am trying to find another source in this area. Nr Ipswich suffolk. Any suggestions please.

A very nice Rep called and informed me that my wardrobes are in their half price sale. Yippee I thought to myself. Rep quoted me for three sliding wardrobe doors, one being a glass one. The inside of the wardrobe would have drawers for extra storage. Price nearly £7,000. I said to the Rep "are you telling me this wardrobe originally would be nearly £13,000, I could buy a new Kia car for that price?" He did look a bit sheepish at my comment. Then said he could bring the price down to £6,000 if I ordered that day. All I could think was, looking at my original wardrobes, was no way are they worth nearly £13,000. Did not order on the day. Had Hammonds come to quote who quoted £5,9991. No pressure to sign on the day and Hammonds Rep did say that they did not do half price sales. Phoned the Sharps Rep to say would not be requiring them to fit wardrobes, he immediately came down £800. I asked why he had not quoted this price in the first place and he said it was Company Policy to get as much money out of the customer as possible. The next day I thought "well we cannot take any money with us" so phoned Sharps Rep and booked an appointment within the next two days, after arranging to have money transferred from savings account to current account. The next day I looked on the Sharps Reviews and was so shocked at all the negative ones that it really un-nerved me. The Fitters make the wardrobes in ones bedroom, so one can imagine all the dust, when we had a kitchen and bathroom fitted from Leeks the Fitters used our garage to work in. So ........ yesterday cancelled Rep as have decided my three glass existing sliding wardrobe doors look rather nice. I have posted this just for other customers to be aware that there is no such thing as a half price sale and Rep always quotes high, it is only when one decides not to order then they take £800. off of the (half price!!) which was quoted.

Sharps were engaged to build wardrobes in two bedrooms after a few design sessions. Sharps sent the packages to our house on friday and a very rude fitter on Monday morning who threatened to walk away from the job as my wife was delayed by 5mins after doing a school run even though it was conveyed to him. Following a call to customer service he decided to stay and do the job. Turns out Sharps sent wrong size sideboards and wrong dimension doors. Sideboard turned up on time for the job to be completed but doors did not. following saturday was agreed for someone to come fix at 9am. Following multiple calls all morning to find out what happened to fitter we were told at 2pm that no one will come so they will send someone on Monday. By this time we had lost 3 days waiting for deliveries and fitters. Eventually doors are fitted but he doesnt have all the other tools to complete the job so another guy is gong to come, that means another day off from work! fitter turns up completes the job then notices that drawers are not built correctly - another day of waiting for delivery and then another day for fitter!! I honestly can say that this has been the most painful experience I have had with any firm till date- I would suggest that do take this as a warning of the pain you will get from asking SHARPS to build your wardrobes.

This was our 4th installation so expected usual good service. Surveyor had problems with the cad system and estimated the job to take 3 days. The fitter arrived late every day, used an extension lead meant for the installation for his own tools, overspilled into the landing and another bedroom and took almost 4 days to complete the job, meaning we had to rearrange the carpet fitter. There was a damaged worktop and the headboard was the wrong one, p!us the interior mirror was smeared. A week later another fitter corrected the problems. We were unhappy with the corniche, as previously we had had it fitted to the ceiling. The one we had chosen looks ridiculous where it is, but the fitter said they don't fit it to the ceiling any more! Wish we had known this from the outset. We paid a lot of money and feel we got very poor service for it. We asked to discuss what has happened with an area manager but nothing has been forthcoming.

Awful customer service. Sharps do not communicate internally or with their paying customer. Despite confirming of receipt of my cancellation letter, they still took full deposit. Took me weeks to get my money back, many phone calls. Managers are never around. I explained my situation to so many people, so many times and a month later Sharps admin were still not aware my order was cancelled. When I complained of being out of pocket, the Area Managee informed me I’d left Sharps out pocket by having a surveyor. Best to use a local company who are easier to communicate with and have trained staff.

Initial sales stage!! whatever you want isnt a problem you wont need to move the electric socket, you can have whatever configuration you require etc etc etc, 3 hours later and that will be £3500 for what is basically a double sliding wardrobe!! stage 2 surveyor turns up appointment booked for 9am on a saturday morning the door is being knocked at 8.30am. The surveyor proceeds to tell me that he doesnt agree with what the sales person has sold with regards to the internal configuration and that also the electric sockets will definitely have to be moved as they sit directly where a panel will be fitted, another 2.5 hours later and alarm bells are starting to ring!! as a deposit of £850 has been paid already we just roll with it assuming it will all be ok, big mistake!! today was delivery day, scheduled for between 7.30am and 8am, at 0640am this big truck pulls up on the front of the house waking us up and at 0710 the doors being knocked. First issue occurs, the surveyor assured us that that the wardrobes could be delivered in to my downstairs front room until the day of the fitting as my daughters bedroom is in use and fitting is a week away. delivery driver refuses to put in to downstairs room and will only put in upstairs bedroom!! at 0720 I am then having to (with no help) move enough bedroom furniture out of my daughters room to allow the new one to be put in. The first unpackaged item brought through the door had a big chunk out of it!! they then brought in one of the glass sliding doors which when trying to put it in to the bedroom literally just cracked the whole length at this point I halted proceedings and said in a minute your going to ask me to part with a further £2500 and I am telling you now I wont be to which I was told we will remove the items already brought in then, I said good luck with that there going nowhere and trust me they are still there. This then led to numerous calls over the period of an hour. I have basically asked for my deposit back and for them to remove the overpriced tat they had delivered and I would find hopefully a professional company to do the job....Apparently at that point I am in breach of the agreement!! really!! I ends up speaking to another manager who proceeds to waffle about what I will or wont do and what they will or wont do, I am now agitated so tell him I dont like to argue over the phone I much prefer face to face, I am scheduled to meet with him this afternoon....further review to follow. These people are appalling to deal with, the product is at best rubbish and severely overpriced dont be taken in by 50% sales or £500 discounts it is purely marketing to get you to sign, looking at the quality of the product today if I had paid half the amount I would still feel aggrieved its S**t, all buyers beware.

decided to buy over priced and inflated wardrobes. They send us a fitter who completely rude and arrogant. he had to wait 10 so that my wife could get home after dropping me off and threatens to not do our job. Had to call sharps to request him to stay. Then it turns out wrong side board has been sent which is then replaced. Then it turns out the door to wardrobes are wrong size too. had to take another day off to wait for new doors to be delivered. Fitter scheduled for saturday morning 8am. no sign of him - call sharps and they say say he will be there. 9.30am still no sign- now sharps say well customer service is closed so no help there until monday. I wish I had read the reviews and never every give my money to these cowboys. I will call external fitter and get the doors put in and sue sharps for lost days.Kingston shop that I ordered from as equally useless

Poor designer experience (drawings incorrect), poor fitter experience (furniture not fitted according to drawings/requirements), Customer Services unhelpful and I'm still awaiting the promised response to my initial complaint (currently 6 weeks).

SHARKS not SHARPS Being a very busy person I decided on sharps to design a small room to give maximum space. Salesman arrives spent over 2 hours designing the bedroom he had no examples so had to go by a brochure we had to haggle over price as apparently we was in 50 % discount ...please don't get taken in with this it's a marketing ploy . I signed at an agreed price .A week later the surveyor arrives opens up the drawing and tuts saying this design will not fit we need to redesign the whole thing !!!! Another 2hours later we have a brand new design informs by me the wardrobe will be a double wardrobe the bedside table will fit and a dressing table I am no expert hence my reason to get sharks in I signed and waited for Installtion . The carpenter arrives and informs me that the wardrobe will not fit as the surveyor didn't take into account the rad so we have to loose about 7 inch of wardrobe space then he tells me I can't fit the bedside unit to the wall as the surveyor did not take into account the plug sockets really disappointed as we have less space than before and the quality is very poor. The wardrobe doors also were not aligned and they sent a guy over to rectify, the doors still do not open and close well. I challenged the guy who came to snag the installtion saying I have one wardrobe a dressing table and small bedside cabinet for £3000 are you telling me this is £6000 (with the 50,%) off his reply oh that's just marketing!!! I said it's very misleading !!! He said well other company's do it ... not being happy at all sharks refuse to come to a compromise and at least fit another corner cupboard I find this appalling I would highly recommend anyone to go elsewhere I am about to contact my solicitors for advise

I told the designer what I wanted she decided to design her own thing telling me I couldnt have what I wanted!! She designed it with shelving at the back and a double rails at the top and bottom. I questioned how was i going to actually use the shelves at the back. I got told its the only way!! I again explained not happy with the design. Next thing you know paperwork comes through the door to sign. Again doing her own thing!! Needless to say the paper work went in the bin and we have got someone else oh yes and its alot cheaper!..jokers!!

I had some lovely cupboards fitted. When you open one of the doors to 90 degrees its handle bangs into the full length mirror on the other door. L shape. I mentioned this to the fitter on completion and was told it's toughened glass and shouldn't break but if it does it's under warranty. It has now cracked under warranty. Customer services state glass/mirrors aren't covered. I asked why it would have been fitted if there was chance of damage and I should have been advised against fitting it, actually it was on the recommendation of the salesperson I had it done this way. To and insult to injury, was told I SIGNED IT OFF, so basically tough. I'm no expert or a designer. That's why I came to you despite your quote being more than double of other quotes. I thought I was buying quality and piece of mind. What was my mistake here, trusting a big name like Sharps or not reading your warranty small print? Which I have, to date not seen! I asked about good will, was refused point blank, because now you won't even return my calls. Disgusting customer services. Furthermore you tell me, if I replace the mirror myself it voids the 10 year warranty!!!

Well my parents wanted to install a walk in wardrobe into my room as a birthday gift. So we were giving the costs and regulations for the proceedings. Therefore we re-painted the walls and removed everything. So when the time came to install the wardrobe, at 8 in the morning, a guy came and said he could not install the cupboards as a result of a 'back pain', which needed to be seen by a doctor! So we called sharp, which the headquarters spoke in such a rude manner, and didn't not apologise for anything. Then the poor worker called Michael has to postpone his other job for us which he came at 3:40pm. Plus when he finished the job, the shelving unit wasn't furnished properly!! So not only did they delay us from our activities, but now they have to come again! And yet they still haven't apologised or offered any compensation for the mishaps. The end result was good but the way they treat their customers, is unfortunately not good. From an extremely angry customer. Never again booo!
