I just had my car serviced which seemed a reasonable price but was hit with £150 of extras which should have been part of the service.

Had an MOT and was pressured into another £800+ of work. I was lead to believe the work was essential but the MOT document had it as advisory. When the car was delivered the inside was very dirty (I guess the mechanic was wearing dirty overalls and did not protect the upholstery). Worse still was that one of the wheel trims was missing. I contacted the workshop and was told they would replace it. Eight weeks and six phone calls later I drove to the workshop and they fitted a second hand trim. My trim was not new bot it was in better condition than the replacement. The workshop was a complete tip in an industrial estate. I cannot believe the hype on the website about carefully selected approved workshops. They are only interested in extracting as much money as possible out of their clients. Better to find a local garage where you can discuss things or better still a dealership if your car is newish. I will not be using them again.

no customer service to attend calls, holding line for 47 minutes am holding call. This is disrespectful, rude customer service. Lack of value for customers time & lack of service is persistent

Working from home was on call no one has collected my car, booked in advance, am holding call for past 25 minutes no reply. No reply from your allocated mobile number. This is your customer service Terrible Terrible service providers. Rude staff members don't return calls. they waste customers time.

Booked in for 8-10 am. They did not arrive, phones do not get answered. Requested a refund by email. They take forever to get back to you. They said they were too busy and told me 5-7 days refund time. Two weeks later and still no refund. I have had to contact them again and they had the cheek to sent me another email saying 5-7 days to refund. I am absolutely furious. This equates to nothing more than theft. I will be reporting them to trading standards. PLEASE AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!

Worst company to use never again. Booked my car in for full service and MOT did they turn up NO they don’t pick up phone or return email. They wanted payment up front to get another 5% off which I didn’t pay. Looks like a scam to me. Will they phone now after this review I doubt it.

We booked up for a service and mot. Having hung around all day waiting and trying to get through on the phone someone rang to say they couldn’t come and booked a slot for a week later. MOT was then overdue. A week later we altered our plans for the morning and no one turned up. Still couldn’t get through on the phone. No one even rang this time to let us know why or rearrange. We have now spent a few weeks not being able to use the car and waiting for an alternative garage to help us out. This is appalling service. I can’t quite believe it.

I pre-booked a full service for my car and after placing all the details in the company's website, I was made to believe that the total price the computer had generated by using my registration number and details would be the final the amount I was to pay, only to discover that on the day my car had been collected and after being at the garage for a four hours, that I would still have to pay for the oil at an extra cost. The person who called me informed me that unless I paid for the oil, my car won't be serviced. What worsened matters was that he was very rude and patronizing on the phone to say the least. Furthermore, when I made the reservation for the service, I had also made a note on their system that I wanted my service book stamped, especially after having a full service completed on the car but to my dismay and although I placed the service on the passenger's seat for easy visibility and access, I looked through the service book and they didn't stamp the book either. I should have taken the car to a local garage instead. These are rude and incompetent rogues who operate from London and trick you into getting your car to a 'local' garage and then ring you to demand more money from you for a service you thought you had already paid for. I won't be using them ever again. Avoid, avoid, avoid!!

Tried to charge for brake pads, front light adjustment and brake cable as it failed MOT. Said I needed special oil for £28 another lie, I do not own a suped up sports car, only a Ford. Absolute rubbish, took to another mechanic and total cost £40 and passed MOT instead of the £349 they wanted to charge. DO NOT USE THEM, THEY ARE A TOTAL RIP OFF.

It’s a trap and you taking advantage of the fact to have the car with you threatening not to return the car if not paying and talking about not only agreed payment but paying also extra charges for work that had never been agreed and also not really existing issues. To avoid at all cost.

As many others have mentioned, they are a bunch of crooks trying to milk money out of helpless customers by adding many hidden charges which would be a shocker to many. The final total would be far more than the initial quote and they blackmail stating car won’t be released if no payment made. Absolute scam. Please stay away from this company.

This company is an absolute joke. DO NOT USE THEM - AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Easy to get a quote, easy to book - then they take your money and do not turn up to collect your car, they don't ring, in fact they have little communication whatsoever. When you ring - they don't answer!!!!! They are a disgrace. I wouldn't even give it 1 star!!!!

Wish I could review without having to waste one star. Paid for a full service and I was told I had to pay extra £36 to flush my engine. Who does a full service without flushing the engines? On top of that I was made to acquire 42mins in telephone bill to a premium number by putting me on hold only to tell me that they are not taking MOT only bookings which could have been avoided if that info was made available on their website.

Nice idea but they can't be bothered to turn up. No contact to say it's not happening, actually had texts saying someone would call soon. On hold for an hour to find out they had no intention of coming. No apology. No intent to improve communications. Don't waste your time.

Took my car and not returned, due back before 6pm yesterday! Cannot get hold of them for return of the vehicle! Called 17 times today, been on hold for over 2.5 hours in total to not get through! Stay clear!

Never turned up to collect, no contact about it after taking the day off to wait. Tried calling over 10 mins waiting and gave up. Sent an email and received a response straight away to say sorry things happen and we can rebook. Must be common issue to have an auto response so I have asked for a full refund. It takes two seconds to contact a customer!

I wish i had read this before .. stupidly used this operation for a service and MOT for my wifes car as with covid and lock down it seemed a good idea - . quoted £160 for full service and MOT . seemed reasonable. Got home and saw a bill for £460 - They had phoned my saying car needed engine flush different type of oil and new brake fluid - all which should never cost £300 but the guy on the phone who spoke v fast said all was necessary to pass MOT . Complete scam - guy who dropped car off from garage they used said we get complaint's about this lot all the time but they take the business - they just do the work and dont get involved - absolute taken - didnt think sharks like this still in business but they are

I've used S'Stop for a few years, always for MOT and full svc. Found it OK although I can not be sure that the multiple faults found EVERY time are genuine. I'm booked in today, no show for 3 hours and they won't answer the phone, just leave you on hold. I opted to pre-pay the service cost for the offered £8 discount. Big mistake - I guess that put me at the end of the queue for service.
