Do not fall for it... Cheaper than competitor, fancy website and easy booking system looks great... Don't be baited like I was. £150 service turned into a £450+ service and they managed to reschedule and keep me waiting around, uncontactable etc. Absolutely terrible experience, avoid at all costs.

Have used them before but stopped due to high charges with no evidence the work was needed. This time I was desperate for an MoT as it had run out. Then no one turned up and When I phoned the garage pretended they couldn’t find me.

After finding what looked like a great price service and MOT with Service Stop, I accepted all of the additional ‘hidden’charges. From oil, to oil disposal, air filter etc. But much, much worse was to come! My car failed it’s MOT because I had a worn pinch bolt. Service Stop called me and quoted me £670 to replace it! After questioning how and why a simple bolt could cost so much, they told me that the whole steering rack and pinion would need to be replaced. So, completely confused, I called another garage for advice, the garage was as confused as I was and told me that they have never heard of this before and the bolt would cost around £10! Upon collection of my car from the SS garage, I asked the same engineer that had done the MOT, he told me that the pinch bolt would cost £10 for the bolt and £30 to fit! I have complained to SS about the practice of blatantly ripping off its customers(of course I have had no reply)! However, I find it totally dishonest and disgusting behaviour from a national company! Service Stop should not be permitted to operate in this way. DO NOT USE SERVICE STOP!

Terrible service! I've had my car rescheduled 4 times now!!!! I've just spoken to one of there call handles once I eventually got through!!!!! 20 minutes to answer a call. Plus nobody answers the text which they asked me to response to!  There call handler said it's only a provisional booking! Well no it's not...... there email says confirmed booking. That means CONFIRMED! NOW MY CAR IS OUT OF MOT!! There online booking allows and accept bookings even if they dont have capacity to fulfil these booking? This is not good enough and is against there "hassle free" claim. Perhaps they should get there marketing team to take a look at the full process and make it clearer that they cant deliver what they say even once they say its CONFIRMED!

Avoid the company at all costs. Car collected by garage that had just been fined £11k for not doing work billed for. Called late in day to say extra work is advised which was more than cost of service over £220 extra. Later found out prices are inflated. No itemised bill so ended up paying £20 extra I can’t account for. Called two customer service numbers and waited 30 mins no answer. Emailed no answer. Car not returned That day and no one told me. Had to contact garage directly next morning to assure myself car had not been stolen.

Cancelled the service that I paid upfront for on the 17th September after reading all the negative reviews, 5th October and still haven't received a refund. They keep sending me the same copy/pasted email saying it will be back in my account in 7days. They have sent me it 3 times.

Appalling service. Avoid..!! They call you just before you want your car back with over the top work. I understand that the works are not carried out even though you pay for it too. I told the sales advisor on the phone I will review. Then a invoice comes over. You can’t ring as your on hold for an hour. Then you get a call the next day saying all works have been done and you have to pay. Joke. Go direct with the garages.

Fraud! Took Monday for service but they didn’t turn up to collect car. Tried calling them for hours for a refund but couldn’t get in touch with anyone. Never responded to my emails and heard nothing. Avoid this scam! Wish I had read reviews before hand

TOTAL FRAUDS!. book a cut-rate MOT and Service at your peril with these sharks. £100s will be added for often unnecessary work at VASTLY INFLATED PRICES. The service consist of an oil change, that may also be at additional cost, plus a whole list of visual checks, that may or may not have been carried out. In short, you pay for next to nothing and take a chance on anything actually being completed. Any additional costs that they can add on to your original quote will be at 3 - 4 time the actual garage cost. E.G £58 per lamp change. £180 for an auxiliary belt replacement and £130 for 4 new spark plugs. BE WARNED!!!

Booked a service and paid up front- night before collection received a text stating that they couldn’t; do Monday would collect Wednesday- text arrived Wednesday Morning advising that I’d be getting a call re, collection- no-one turned up. Noticed that the assigned garage was 75 miles away- ie a round trip of 150 miles- so hardly local!!! Cancelled at 3 pm by email having tried to call for almost an hour in total. Took 14 days to process refund and advised it will take up to 7 days to land on my card account- firstly why!!! I can make payments that happen instantly!!- I’m still waiting for it to appear. Old adage - if it looks too good to be true, it probably is- avoid and don’t believe the reviews on their own website.

Don’t go near this company. Utter robbery. 1. Car picked up 2.5 hours late. 2. Driver collecting the car mounted his own car on the kerb multiple times trying to park....I’m still waiting on my car back and hope it’s in 1 piece. 3. My £114 service cost me £315. I got a call at 4:15pm asking for an additional £200 to cover an engine flush and brake fluid change. Without it they wouldn’t complete the service and if still have to pay £150 to get the car back anyway. I’ll never use them again and think their tactics are a disgrace.

Took my car to servicing stop as I could not get my car MOT and service at my normal garage.Service Stop quoted me the same price as my normal garage.Cut a long story short, they I invoiced me for £719.00 against my normal garage charge of £220.00 some £600.00 dearer. They even charged £208.00 for an aux belt change they never did.Avoid at all costs

Absolute dog mess service. Have used Servicing Stop for the past ~10 years with various cars and always had exceptional service. The hard sell on any extras has never been difficult to say 'no' to, even if they do try. However this time round was an absolute shambles. I was text twice saying 'due to unforeseen circumstances your service has been rescheduled' - the day changed each time, so I had no clue what was happening. Spent 2 calls on hold for 30 mins (gave up both times). Text back to say the date wasn't acceptable, heard nothing back. Garage rung me to confirm they're collecting my car at 8am tomorrow (useless, I won't even be home so SS have obviously not contacted them!) - just spent another 30 mins on hold before giving up ONCE AGAIN. I've cancelled the service via the online portal, no idea if I'll get the £140 refund i've paid up front. Absolute rubbish - AVOID.

Contacted by a sales person with unbelievably high quotes. A total con Brake fluid £164. This should be included in the full service I paid for £64 for sir filter yet on website £12.99? Absolutely disgusting in a time like this you should be ashamed of yourselfs

Overcharged for oil and unnecessary extras, that were supposed to be only £24.99 + vat. Car supposed to be road tested came back with the same puncture warning light. Service book not stamped even though all the items had been all ticked off on work sheet? No itemised bill received for extra payments, which were more than the initial outlay on booking. Unable to reach garage or Srevice stop for answers, even though I have left several messages for them to contact me. Woulld not recommend!!!!

Tried to contact Servicing Stop about twenty times by phone waiting an hour on one call. Then I had a call back and when I didnt want certain work carried out the customer service person was quiite abrupt. Having worked in senior management in the automotive trade I would not use this company again.

I had to call the police. the car returned after 7pm. Its meant to be between 4pm and 6pm - There is no app to track the service progress. Even though they claim it The service is not even done completely. the I drive system is still telling me the car needs service and brake fluid swap! - i was on the phone with police for car theft but same time they came to deliver the car. you cant contact servicing stop because they only work 9-5 pm. - When i called servicing stop i was on hold for 1 hour 25 minutes This company is too much stress and down the line they are not even cheap

Just been mugged by Servicing Stop. They had quoted £96.50 for a full service on a Fiat 500. Paid up front on line to save £10 but instead of deducting this amount they ADDED it making initial payment £106!!! Car was taken to a garage 20 miles away. SS phoned within an hour giving me the story about special oil (IT IS ONLY A FIAT 500 AND NOT A MASARTI OR A FERRARI ??) and also needing the brake fluid change and all at an extra cost of £185. I foolishly agreed to this then they wouldn't release the car without paying. Clicked on pay now and it said Owing £185. Clicked on pay and it came up with pay £226. I ended up paying £333 for what amounted to an oil change being the only item i could check. Yes I got MUGGED but my own fault. If this Company is still linked to Dragons Den or the BBC then they should hang their heads in shame for not keeping an eye on this lot. Their advertising is very well done and I am sure they are doing nothing illegal, so pointless going to court. Hopefully ROGUE TRADERS, Martin LEWIS and TRADING STANDARDS will look into this company and try and get them closed down. If they were cowboy builders they would end up in court or in jail. AVOID this COMPANY they are rip off merchants and all the one star's reviews printed here are all true. Follow the advice given to save you money and your sanity.
