To cheap to be true, thought so, £94 for a full service. Thank goodness for reviews, saved me a lot of time and hassle by the sound of it. Read the small print. By the way this excludes spark plug ( if petrol, im diesel don't need em) , air filter, fluid top ups, low saps oil, etc - oh and any thing else they find.

Booked in for a supposed bargain£114 pound full service. I also had warning lights I wanted dealing with (and etc) Later in the day they phoned ( very polite and cheerful)wanting over £1000 - without fixing the issue with the warning lights which were caused by a failed motor in a rear caliper. They wanted a further £400 for that. It's a 2015 Jaguar and they pointed out that the Jaguar main dealer would have cost a lot. Yes, maybe and that's why I would never use them! Outrageously over priced (diagnostic = £150 + vat) I got my car back having paid over £800 without the main issues being attended to. I am a pensioner and cannot just work overtime to pay for bills like this. Not cheap, not safe, go to a known local garage. I am sure I would have had a far better deal and more reasonable prices if I had. I now have to either have a go at fixing the rear calliper myself or paying out again for someone to fit one floor me. I will never use them again. I feel scammed. Stan Sanders

Dreadful. Read the small print concerning what is actually covered by your “full service”. Mine included oil and an oil filter. That’s it. Not even an air filter. Even then I had to pay more for the oil. They tried to upsell me an engine flush before the new oil and filter. Totally unnecessary and can actually be harmful. Modern diesel oil already has plenty of detergent in it. Then it was “you need this, you need that, we can do it all for £500 and have payment plans”. No thanks. The guy on the phone got really short with me when the sales pitch failed. They had no access to my car’s service history, no digital stamp, didn’t know what had been done and what needed doing, drove it bloody miles away. Never again. Supposed to get the car back by 6pm. Got it back the next day with zero communication. ‘As seen on Dragon’s Den’ milked to boost sales since 2009 when they got an offer from Deborah Meaden , who later withdrew it after performing due diligence. I wish I had. I’m out.

If only it could be zero or negative stars. Booked an MOT and service with Service Stop and paid in advance. Got a call around noon to say the were mandatory repairs to be done and they were also going to add an oil surcharge for about £35 (including VAT). This call clearly did not come from the garage, but from a sales person who rushed through the report in a clear bait and panic strategy to trap you. Repairs were for: 1. Front Anti-roll bar linkage ball joint dust cover no longer prevents the ingress of dirt 2. Track rod end ball joint dust cover excessively damaged or deteriorated so that it no longer prevents the ingress of dirt 3. Repointing the headlights I was quoted ~ £1,000 (this was in addition to the MOT and service). I remained calm and composed and declined the repairs and asked for the car to be returned and the full service done. I was then pressured with the old the car will come back as failed MOT. I responded I was comfortable with that. A quick google, and parts were around £150 at the top end. I had the repairs done and MOT retest at the SAME garage for £280!!! Use at your PERIL. Oh I forgot, the person that called tried to wrap in instalment payments into the mix. A bunch of cowboys who need to be investigated!!

Do not use these thief's,had service done today for what i thought was a reasonable price, once car was taken I received a call saying extra work was needed namely a break fluid change which they charged me over £200 , this should have been about £40 , other basic work was done at a ridiculous price and was told that it had to be done to complete the service,i paid £500 for basic service, keep well away.

I am writing this to warn other consumers about the deceptive practices and poor service provided by Servicing Stop. Despite the professional-looking reminders and the incentive of a "pre-payment discount," the actual experience was a logistical and financial nightmare. Key Issues Experienced: Total Communication Failure: After receiving numerous texts and emails confirming my 8:00 AM–10:00 AM collection window, the company simply failed to show up. Their provided phone numbers went unanswered, and their website is managed by an ineffective AI bot. I was left "high and dry" until the independent garage—not the company itself—contacted me to cancel. Predatory Pricing: Once the vehicle was finally taken, I was presented with quotes for remedial works (including standard service items like filters and oil) that carried a 50–80% markup over standard garage rates. Unauthorised Vehicle Usage: Most alarmingly, when my car was eventually returned two days late, the fuel tank was nearly empty. The odometer revealed that the vehicle had been driven 280 miles while in their possession—an entirely unacceptable distance for a service and MOT. This company acts as a middleman that adds significant cost while providing zero accountability or customer service. If you value your time, your money, and the security of your vehicle, I strongly advise you to book directly with a local Approved Garage instead.

I booked a Service + MOT with Servicing Stop and I deeply regret it. They collected my car on Friday. Both on their website and during our conversations, they clearly state that the service is completed within one day. I was told the work would be finished on Friday and that my car would be delivered back the same day. Communication was perfectly normal until I made the payment. After payment, they confirmed delivery between 4–6 PM on Friday. However, after 5 PM on Friday, I completely lost contact with the company. No one answered the phone. Later, I realized they do not operate on weekends, which meant I would not receive my car that week. I had to cancel and rearrange all my plans because of this. On Monday morning, I called again. They gave vague and incomplete information and told me the car would be delivered on Monday. Yet after 4 PM on Monday, despite calling multiple times, no one answered the phone. Their attitude after payment was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. If they had honestly informed me that the work would take 2–3 days, I would have understood. However, the lack of communication, ignoring calls, and failure to provide accurate information is simply unacceptable. On top of that, the prices are very high. Many other customers also report being overcharged. Paying such high amounts and receiving this level of service is outrageous. I absolutely do not recommend this company.

Absolutely disgraceful 'service'. If I could give no stars I would! Like many others, I was attracted by the cheap MOT and Service for £130.94. With the £40 off if I paid there and then, which I did. The upselling was unbelievable and they wanted £1900 for various jobs, when I mentioned that the car was not worth much more, the response was "I have checked out its price and it is worth over £3000. Clearly did their homework before hitting their 'mark'. The full service I paid for was far from a full services and they charged me £35 for an oil change which I had expected as standard in a 'full service'. Filter changes were non existent and they wanted yet more for those. Wanted £48 to change a brake light that was ok when it left my home! I intend to take this matter to small claims as I genuinely feel quite abused and conned!

If I could give no stars I would have! These guys are conmen. I was drawn in like hundreds of others on here, by the cheap MOT and Service for £130.94. With the promise of £40 off if I paid there and then, which I did. My KIA RIO 2018 car was taken to Coppen Road, Dagenham. The guy rang up from the garage called Dean, he spoke at 100 mile per hour, and as a pensioner I trusted what he was saying. Saying these things needed doing. I was shocked by the outrageous charges from Coppen Road, Dagenham for my MOT & Service. See attached receipt! Servicing Stop Limited invited me to take out a payment plan, which I initiated a for £524.32 over 4 months at £131.04 per month. I have checked the KIA Dealership and it would have been far cheaper to have taken it there. The prices I obtained were for the following: Long Life Oil (3.5 units) Kia dealerships generally use specific, approved oil, such as Castrol Magnatec Professional MP 5W-30 C3. The approximate cost per litre from a genuine Kia parts supplier online is around £15.77 per litre (inc. VAT). For 3.5 litres, the estimated cost for the oil alone is approximately £55.19 (inc. VAT). The oil change is typically part of a service package, and the labour cost would be included in that. Standalone engine oil and filter changes at a franchise dealer may start from around £122.95 (inc. VAT). Renew Brake Fluid Brake fluid renewal is often a service item included in a major service or a standalone job with its own labour charge. The estimated average cost for a Kia brake fluid change at a garage (including parts, labour, and VAT) is approximately £60-£100. The price for the brake fluid product itself (e.g., A.B.S. 7522 Brake Fluid DOT 4 ) can be around £3.99 for 0.25L (inc. VAT), but the main cost is the labour for flushing and bleeding the system. Fuel Treatment & Engine Flush These items are generally offered as optional extras during a service and can sometimes be bundled into a "care package". A combined engine flush and fuel system clean service might cost around £29.99 (inc. VAT) for the engine flush portion alone, or part of a package for a total of approximately £38.98 (inc. VAT). Judging by this the bill should not have been more than around £350-£400 and that is a top estimate! On top of that my fuel guage had 401 miles on it... there is now only 337 miles. There has been 64 miles of petrol used for a 23 mile round trip journey Needless to say I shall NEVER use your service again. And Dean at Dagenham, who asked for a good review can forget it! These people are scammers! I wish I would have read the reviews, otherwise I would not have been caught out. NEVER AGAIN! What sort of organisation are they running?

Took my car for a service...began very polite.called to say some filters and oil needs replacing which were necessary to complete the service. Pressured to agree, called back 10 minutes later to stop the work being carried out....no answer, emailed...no answer, live chat.... Chris then called me back just under 2 hours later, not polite this time sayng the work has been completed and I need to pay or the car would not be released. I was told this is what the garage is charging and the working needed to be done or I wouldn't have the service. I told him I will pay under protest so I did...called him to let him know payment has been made....no answer, emailed...no answer I called the garage and they hadn't been informed to release the car.....I still do not have my car back

Arrange MOT & service 3 days ago. Received a call, advised I needed additional work and was promised a call back advising price. I paid for the service in advance. Never received the call. Texts yesterday advised the car would be picked up between 8am-10am - they never arrived. I have tried to contact them but clearly they have little or no support available. I've now had to raise a claim with my bank to have the payment cancelled. This is where companies like trustpilot let consumers down - they pander to companies, often removing poor reviews. Take a look at trustpilot and servicingstop look OK. Check out other review sites and they're awful.

Avoid like the f-ing plague Trusted mechanic shops would charge less than half for the work and labour stated but I’ve been held over a barrel. Avoid this morally corrupt company

Do Not Use it.  I booked it 4 weeks ahead of my MOT and service, contacted them via email, spoke to customer service, etc., to explain about my car and needs. This morning a guy came to collect my car, I asked for an ID, but he didn't have one.I said how can I trust to give my car then he showed me the app, very unprofessional. I paid £190 for mot and service. Tonight at 5.30 pm Servicing stop guy called me demanding another £225 for some sort of oil and other work. He said my car will be out of warranty if I dont pay the fee. I said my car doesn't even doesnt have a warranty, 12 years old. Then he got very pushy and asked me to make a payment immediately, and said otherwise you wont see your car again. He asked me to make a payment on the phone. I asked for email confirmation and the link to be sent. Just to make sure that it wasn't scammers. I received the email at 5.35 pm, I called the garage to ask about what was this extra payment for, they wouldn't tell me. They said I needed to make the payment, otherwise my car will stay with them until servicing stops permits them. I felt helpless. I didnt know what extras I was paying for as the guy on the phone did not explain, he was in a rush, wanted me to pay quickly. The garage was not helpful either. Then I tried to pay the amount, the link would not work. I tried from 5.35pm till 6 pm, no success, tried two different mobile phones, computer etc. Now my car is kept in their garage. I need my car for work tomorrow. I spoke to Garage, they said, they are closed now, tomorrow, after I make the payment, they can bring my car. Totally disappointed with the service and their unprofessionalism. They could have rang me from 4 pm, giving me time to make payment, not bang on 5.35 pm, when they close their garage. So disappointed. Do Not Use it

Absolutely con and sham service I would never recommend this car service to anyone. Trick customers into thinking value for money. However it is a deceitful way to get customers in and start adding expensive repairs that do not require or much cheaper elsewhere. Here is an example. I was quoted on website £185 Then later on £30 added for special oil. The headlight lamp change; quote £60. On EuroParts the headlight lamp for this car cost from £13 to £19. The engine management diagnostic cost £200 and the same service at halford is £50. They did not even fix the issue at this price. They wanted me to pay another £110 to fix the issue highlighted by engine management diagnostic. Wrong invoice When I tried to pay it is showing nearly £483 The price for the service was with special oil = 185+30 = £215 The price for an engine diagnostic quote on the phone was £200. So they added £68 and no invoice provide yet Overall the absolute terrible car service as well as customer service. The person I spoke to I think named Adam was not prepared to explain the failure and solution in plain simple English. He was using a lot of technical jargon to confuse me and the actual repair required. He was not interested to listen when I said how come a headlight lamp costs £19 and you are charging £60. All he said was; take it or leave it .

This feels like a bait-and-switch tactic and shows very poor transparency. I was told that my car had “additional problems” after it was taken for servicing, and I was asked to pay extra money on top of the original price. I felt pressured to approve the extra charges as I needed my car back. This was very disappointing and felt unfair. The original quote was not respected, and the extra costs were not clearly explained beforehand. I regret using this service and would not recommend this company to anyone. Be very careful, as the final price may be much higher than what you are first told.

Very poor experience. My car was returned without a proper itemised invoice, or clear explanation of what work has actually been carried out. Attempts to contact the company by phone were unsuccessful with the line permanently engaged. Emails resulted in vague responses and long delays despite being told , that my case was “ escalated “. Complete lack of transparency and customer service. I would strongly advise others to read reviews carefully before using this company.
