Do NOT use this company. They are an outfit company that will send you car anywhere. Was charged over £1000 for ‘full service’ and MOT. Since getting my car back I had it checked by a well established mechanic because it was making a whirring noise and despite attempting to contact Servicing Stop multiple times over 2 weeks to get them to have another look at my car. I was completely ignored, emails and phone calls ignored. After having it checked by a professional mechanic it was evident that no work had been completed. Air filter hadn’t been touched or replaced, under tray was full of stones as hadn’t been touched. Coolant level was low therefore hadn’t been checked and service indicator came up on the dashboard the following day. Engine belt was not changed which is what the whirring noise was. Despite it being charged for. Have been in an ongoing battle to claim a refund but they are accepting no liability. Also got tied into a loan agreement to pay for the ‘work’ with a third party company called Payment Assist. I was not made aware that I would be entering into an agreement as all they said was ‘you can pay us on instalments - interest free!’ Complete con companies. SERVICING STOP - PAYMENT ASSIST & FALCON AUTO CENTRE. AVOID!!

Car reg: BW68LKA, was booked to be picked up on the 30th of June 2026 at about 10 am for servicing but it was not on till the 1st of July 2026 at 10pm and to be dropped back by 6pm the same day. I waited and waited till 7pm but the car wasn't brought back. I tried calling the number that called me when it was picked up but no answe, same with the service stop phone number, it says it's closed till the next day. I was so furious, I was not informed that the car would not be brought back that evening. I had work that night and I was forced to take a cab there which cost me over £30. I called the number again the next day 2nd of July, and I was told that they could not bring the car back the day before because they were not told by Service Stop to bring it. The car was brought back in the afternoon, and the key was just dropped through the letterbox. I was not given the chance to check the car, or even speak to the person who brought it. Upon checking the car later that evening, it was so dirty, both inside and outside of the car were full of dry leaves and sand. The petrol level was almost at the full gauge when it was picked but on return it was almost empty. That was not all, upon driving the car the engine oil level signal came up. It was telling me that I need to put engine oil in the car. I was so dumbfounded because this is not the first time that I have serviced my car, and not once has this ever happened after servicing. You charged me £127 for the car service, and yet my car seems to be short of oil immediately after servicing. This is my first time of using your service and it will surely be the last time, I called your company the next day to inform you of this. You told me that you will come and pick up the car again and fix everything that I have complained about but, this is the 15th of August 2016, no call or email from you. I will surely leave a review of this everywhere that I can.

Extremely Disappointing Experience – Unfair Extra Charges and Unexplained Mileage I booked a car service online through Servicing Stop, which included collection, drop-off, an oil change, and a filter change. I paid £156 upfront during booking. However, when I called in the evening to arrange the return of my car, I was told I had to pay an additional £99.33 for the oil and filter change before they would release and return my vehicle—despite this already being paid for in my initial £156 payment. To make matters worse, when the driver finally returned my car, the engine was running excessively hot. Furthermore, before handing the car over, the fuel range showed 156 miles. Upon return, the fuel range had dropped to just 41 miles. Over 115 miles worth of fuel was used while the car was in their possession, which is completely unacceptable and unaccounted for. I am deeply dissatisfied with the extra forced charges, poor handling, and unauthorised driving of my vehicle. I would not recommend this service to anyone.

Booked first service on my 2 year old old van it went to a local garage, later on in the day they told me I need to spend another£100 plus for a brake fluid change. They should have advised me this in the beginning as this is part of a Nissan service.ss I could have had the option to look elsewhere.. person on phone abruptly ended the call very unprofessional.

I always suspected my service would end up costing more than advertised, and that Servicing Stop would try to hard-sell me things I didn't need. For example, a car with only 8,000 miles on the clock does not need an engine flush — yet that's exactly what they insisted the mechanic had recommended. Strangely, when I asked the garage why they'd supposedly said such a low-mileage car needed an engine flush, they told me they'd never said any such thing and went on to give me a list of examples where Servicing Stop had tried to rip off customers. I was also told I needed brake fluid which I had already tested for moisture and knew it was fine, something else the garage also told me they did not state! Since then, the garage said they were not taking any more jobs with "Servicing Shock", due to the risk of reputational damage after a long list of similar issues. The next problem was that Servicing Stop didn't even know what my car needed for its 4-year service — I had to tell them. When they finally came back with a price, it was over £300 more than simply booking with the main dealership. So don't believe the claim that they're cheaper than the dealer; in my experience, they're more expensive. Now for the biggest issue. The garage couldn't reset my service light — something I'd specifically checked with Servicing Stop beforehand, and they assured me it would 100% be reset, along with my online service history. Unsurprisingly, that assurance quietly changed after the service. After a lot of back and forth, "The Shock's" official response was: "To clarify, the service indicator is reset where applicable. In your case, due to the security gateway fitted to your Land Rover, the service indicator could not be reset without the use of a manufacturer-specific diagnostic tool." So, there you have it — they simply lied about it being reset, then hid behind a vague get-out clause. In my view, resetting a service light is absolutely "applicable," and they should change that wording to "possible" instead, since that's clearly closer to the truth. They showed zero interest in offering any compensation, insisting that since the service itself had been carried out, the unreset light wouldn't affect a potential buyer or the car's value, because I could prove the work was done. When I asked my local dealer about this, they said it would absolutely affect the resale value — no question. So that's where it ends with "Servicing Con." I ended up having to beg my main dealer to reset the light myself, at a cost of £85. Luckily, they'd heard all about "Servicing Rob" already and took pity on me. I've learned an expensive lesson, and I hope this review stops others from falling for the same false promises — especially if your chosen garage doesn't actually have the right equipment for the job. AVOID. Before they respond with their we cant find your service stock reply this is my service reference "sstop-260528130126-44506-19795-1929905-a" Also feel free to refund the £85 I had to pay to get the light reset, I will not hold my breath! UPDATE! Servicing Con have come back and offered me a pitiful £45 towards the £85 I had to pay! This is not really acceptable as its not about the money its about their lies saying that the service light would be turned off 100%. What about the 25 miles I had to drive to get the light turned off? Really Servicing Rob should be offering more than the £85 to cover the costs of travel and the day off work I had to take to get it reset! absolutely disgraceful AVOID AT ALL COSTS! IF they do the right thing and offer to cover the £85 I will put another update to let people know! One more thing for you to think about! if you are considering using this company, why are most of their positive reviews from invited people? Something underhand is going on there in my opinion, check out the 5 stars not many from uninvited people, why no 3 star to 1 star reviews from invited people? Its odd that no one has been invited to do a review and given less that 4 stars isn't it?

Horrible service, never going back there. Low prize when you pay for your service but they charge you more on invoice. Very poor communication, and lying that your car will be ready in one day , guess what? I have been using uber and they are not responding to my calls about my cars whereabout and it is day 2. Careful with any invoices they will charge you more if you do not push back and challenge why they are asking you more.

I booked my car with Servicing Stop for an MOT and a full service after being told the vehicle would be returned the same day. That never happened, and I received no update or phone call to explain the delay. Late in the day, I had to contact them myself to find out where my car was because I needed it the following morning. During that call, I was told my vehicle required a "special oil" because it supposedly wasn't compatible with the oil already in the engine. The gentleman on the phone also told me that my car had not been serviced in five years and that it could not be moved unless this special oil was used. This was extremely concerning, as I had only purchased the car a year ago and it had been serviced by the dealership before I bought it. I did not agree to any additional work or charges. When I explained that I did not want the special oil or any additional work, the gentleman I was speaking to became rude and dismissive. After I questioned the additional charge and explained that I had not agreed to any extra work, he abruptly ended the call by hanging up on me. After that conversation, I received no update for over a day. I have a tracker fitted to my car and could see that the MOT had been completed, but instead of remaining at the garage, my vehicle was driven around 20 minutes away and left overnight in what appeared to be a residential area. Things became even more confusing when I tried to find out where my car actually was. I had been told my vehicle was being taken to AutoPoint Garages, but after checking the situation further, I was given information relating to KMR Garages instead. When I contacted the garage I was told about, they said my car was not there. They provided me with the name and phone number of the person who had delivered my vehicle, which was different from the information I had originally received from Servicing Stop. This left me very concerned about the conflicting information I was being given about the location of my own vehicle. To add to the confusion, a member of Servicing Stop's customer service team told me the garage had closed because it was too hot for the technicians to continue working. However, according to my vehicle tracker, the person who had moved my car was still out on the road. The explanation I was given did not match what I could see happening. Based on the movements shown by my vehicle tracker, I became concerned that my car was being used primarily for transportation between locations rather than being worked on. The vehicle appeared to be moved between different places, including being left overnight away from the garage I expected it to be at. This gave me serious concerns that the person handling my vehicle was acting mainly as a driver moving vehicles between locations rather than carrying out or overseeing the MOT and service I had booked. When I refused to pay the additional charge, my car was not returned. I informed them that I would collect my vehicle myself using my spare key. When I attempted to call, the gentleman did not answer and instead texted saying: "Please text me, I cannot talk, I am driving." I later requested that my original key be returned. It took more than a day for my key to be returned, and once again I was told he could not speak because he was driving. When the key was eventually delivered to my home, I could see there was a passenger in the vehicle, so there appeared to be an opportunity for someone to communicate on his behalf. Instead, all communication was handled by text, and I was never able to speak directly with him about the situation. To make matters worse, the full service I had booked and paid for was never carried out. My vehicle's service reminder is still displayed, indicating that the service was not completed or reset. Despite all the delays and inconvenience, I was left without the service I originally booked. One of my biggest concerns is the complete lack of transparency throughout this process. I was not given clear information about where my vehicle was, who had it, what work was being carried out, or why additional charges were suddenly being requested. I was left having to rely on my own tracker to understand where my own vehicle had been taken. From start to finish, this experience was extremely stressful and disappointing. The poor communication, conflicting information, unexpected charges, rude customer service, abrupt ending of the call, unexplained movement and overnight storage of my vehicle, concerns about the work being carried out, failure to complete the booked service, and delays in returning my key have left me with no confidence in Servicing Stop. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company and would strongly encourage others to think carefully before trusting them with their vehicle.

I booked for a 12 month service on My Hyundai Tucson 2025 model only completed 5009 miles, this car is only used for pleasure as I am retired. booked with Service Stop as they offered a £50 discount for early payment, so paid the £125 up front, so far so good however I stared to get Emails leading up to the service date, not had this from any other garage I have used before, this gave me cause for concern as this is a usual ploy to gain your confidence by con men, anyway the car was picked up, no problem, then I immediately received a call from the franchise head office London, all very pleasant, however then less than an hour later I get another call informing me that £560 of additional works need to be carried out. I'm afraid that I lost my temper and refused all the additional works and demanded they return my vehicle immediately, which they did. After looking myself at the filters they said needed replacing, I could have re-boxed both the air and pollen filters and re-sold them they were that clean, my brake fluid which was supposed to be contaminated. the cap has never been off the reservoir since the car was manufactured. This company is a complete ripoff I will never use them again and would NEVER RECOMMEND THEM.

They initially quoted a very low price to attract customers and get my car into their garage. I only needed an oil change, so I decided to give them a try. At first, I was impressed and wondered how they could collect and return my car for such a low price. However, once my car was at the garage, I received a call informing me that they had found numerous additional issues. I was quoted repairs costing thousands of pounds, many of which seemed unnecessary. The salesperson was extremely persistent and applied significant pressure for me to approve the work. It was only after I firmly refused and mentioned that I would contact the police if the pressure continued that the approach changed. Shortly afterwards, I received another call offering a "special price" along with a six-month payment plan, which only reinforced my concerns about their sales tactics. I am genuinely surprised that this business continues to operate in this manner, especially given the number of reviews describing very similar experiences. Based on my experience, I would not recommend them and intend to report the matter to Trading Standards.

They are an absolute rip off they failed to collect my car the first time and tried to call to add on extras like brake fluid, the only problem was my car was sat right in front of me with my key in my pocket! The following week (today) they collected my car then called again at around 4pm to say all was good apart from it needing brake fluid when I argued and said my car was only 7 months old and that I had seen the reviews others had left and refused to have any extras done they hung up on me! I had the garage number from the person who collected it and called them they said nothing was needed but they could not release my car until service stop said they could, I demanded my car back but was told I had to call service stop, when I called they were rude and told me they had released the car but they had not! It took me 2 more calls to them and still they wouldn’t release the car. Eventually the garage agreed to bring my car back but only after numerous calls, they said service stop are rip offs and they had this all the time with them, my car eventually came back at 7.30pm, I waited in work for them only to give up and get an Uber home £30 lighter in the pocket and got a work colleague to get my key back as they lived locally thank god for car tracking so I could see where my car was. Please read other reviews saying the same about brake fluid and don’t waste your money on such a rip off company they should be close down, I will be contacting trading standards about them go elsewhere!!

Following my service and MOT, I received a call from the service advisor to discuss additional work. The call felt very high-pressure, with a strong focus on upselling, and I found it difficult to fully understand the charges being quoted. Premium oil was added to my service at an extra cost, which I was expected to pay for, despite not feeling this was made sufficiently clear. The prices quoted for the additional work were also extremely high, so I declined all of it. I raised a complaint asking for the call to be reviewed and requested a refund for the premium oil charge, as I did not believe it was reasonable. The initial response to my complaint was dismissive and unhelpful. It was only after my second reply that they acknowledged the call had actually been reviewed. I have also requested a copy of the call so I can review it myself, and I am currently awaiting this. Based on my experience, I would avoid this company. I don't feel they take customer feedback seriously, and their approach to customer service and complaint handling is very poor.

Service stop tried to charge me £1200 for repairs to pass an MOT, I declined and then the actual garage called and quoted £500 for the same work. Garages only use them for the advertising, I was told in advance to refuse the quote given by Servicing stop as it will be ridiculous. Servicing stop have also confirmed even if an MOT has failed and £5000 work is needed, they would still continue with all other prebooked services whether your car is a write off or not. You will not be made aware of the fail until they have completed all services booked to ensure they get all of your money. Thanks for the £135 service on my write off Servicing Stop 👏👏👏

Worse. They lie to you about issues of the car. Force you to pay. Guy called “Chris” is absolutely scary to talk to. Has no clue how to treat customers. They almost never pick up the phone. Took day(s) for them to return the car. No communication. Generally 1 of the worse experiences.

Booked in for a service, that was quick and easy. The day of the service I had to call them and ask if they were coming as they were an hour and a half picking up my car. This is only the start of the problem, after my car was collected it was about 3 hours later when I got a phone call saying 'we've found other work what equates to £800 extra. I said to not proceed with the extra work and just do the service. My car was meant to be delivered between 4pm and 6pm that evening. At 630pm I try and call the office and garage where my car was to no answer. I didn't hear all night where my car was and was even close to calling the police to report it stolen. At 8:30am the next day I call the office to.find out what's happened. They tell me my cars on its way and will be with me within the next hour. When my car arrives it still has the service needed on the dash, it's had 120 mile driven in it even though the garage was a 50 mile round trip and was clearly used as someone ride home that evening. With my car not getting back to me till about 9:45am the next morning I had to miss a days work all because they couldn't hold up there end of the contract. After I told them this they said there's nothing they can do about my loss of earnings even though it was there fault. After complaining about this to the customer complaints team via email as you can't call them, I was offering £20 as compensation. I said this is an insult as my time and loss of earnings equals a lot more than this. I for one will not be using this company again and I would recommend you think twice about booking in with them.

This felt like a scam to me. A cheap service offer turned into a repair quote of nearly £3,000, which was later reduced to £1,660 after I challenged it. Some charges seemed extremely high, and I left feeling misled. Please get a second opinion before approving any work. It could save you a lot of money.

If I could rate zero stars I would. Paid for service and car was collected with no issues. Received a call 3 hours later to advise that my car which has only done 22000 miles and is 2 years old needed an additional £393 of work (carbon oil engine flush and brake fluid service) . Questioned if I could get the car back and get the work done elsewhere and was advised that would mean the service wasn't completed. Grudgingly paid the bill. Then quickly called my husband and a friend at a local garage and was advise not only was this untrue but the work the carbon flush was absolutely unnecessary and the brake fluid service is usually around £60. 8 minutes after speaking with Adam at servicing stop I started trying to call back to ask them not to go ahead with the work and refund the payment. Eventually got someone on the phone about 30 minutes later and explained the situation was advised I had to speak with Adam and he would call straight back. Also emailed every email I could find for the company and still no response. Still waiting on a response and the work was carried out and car dropped back home. Absolutely disgusted and from previous reviews can see I'm not the only one. Will be posting my story on every site I can find until to warn others to avoid at all costs!!

I was forced to book online car service and ended up with servicestop today 03/06/2026 morning with advance payment of 120 pound. When this transaction was done bank was reminding suspects of fraud but paid and got booked. After receiving confirmation mail the garage address was not mentioned and was waiting for it till evening. Recieved a message regarding car collection and the text message was marked as spam. Finally I woke up and cancelled the service after I came to see pathetic reviews about them. It was a near miss. I appreciate the efforts of all those who posted their experience in which 90% turned negative. Think twice before chasing something cheap.
