Avoid like the f-ing plague Trusted mechanic shops would charge less than half for the work and labour stated but I’ve been held over a barrel. Avoid this morally corrupt company

Do Not Use it.  I booked it 4 weeks ahead of my MOT and service, contacted them via email, spoke to customer service, etc., to explain about my car and needs. This morning a guy came to collect my car, I asked for an ID, but he didn't have one.I said how can I trust to give my car then he showed me the app, very unprofessional. I paid £190 for mot and service. Tonight at 5.30 pm Servicing stop guy called me demanding another £225 for some sort of oil and other work. He said my car will be out of warranty if I dont pay the fee. I said my car doesn't even doesnt have a warranty, 12 years old. Then he got very pushy and asked me to make a payment immediately, and said otherwise you wont see your car again. He asked me to make a payment on the phone. I asked for email confirmation and the link to be sent. Just to make sure that it wasn't scammers. I received the email at 5.35 pm, I called the garage to ask about what was this extra payment for, they wouldn't tell me. They said I needed to make the payment, otherwise my car will stay with them until servicing stops permits them. I felt helpless. I didnt know what extras I was paying for as the guy on the phone did not explain, he was in a rush, wanted me to pay quickly. The garage was not helpful either. Then I tried to pay the amount, the link would not work. I tried from 5.35pm till 6 pm, no success, tried two different mobile phones, computer etc. Now my car is kept in their garage. I need my car for work tomorrow. I spoke to Garage, they said, they are closed now, tomorrow, after I make the payment, they can bring my car. Totally disappointed with the service and their unprofessionalism. They could have rang me from 4 pm, giving me time to make payment, not bang on 5.35 pm, when they close their garage. So disappointed. Do Not Use it

Absolutely con and sham service I would never recommend this car service to anyone. Trick customers into thinking value for money. However it is a deceitful way to get customers in and start adding expensive repairs that do not require or much cheaper elsewhere. Here is an example. I was quoted on website £185 Then later on £30 added for special oil. The headlight lamp change; quote £60. On EuroParts the headlight lamp for this car cost from £13 to £19. The engine management diagnostic cost £200 and the same service at halford is £50. They did not even fix the issue at this price. They wanted me to pay another £110 to fix the issue highlighted by engine management diagnostic. Wrong invoice When I tried to pay it is showing nearly £483 The price for the service was with special oil = 185+30 = £215 The price for an engine diagnostic quote on the phone was £200. So they added £68 and no invoice provide yet Overall the absolute terrible car service as well as customer service. The person I spoke to I think named Adam was not prepared to explain the failure and solution in plain simple English. He was using a lot of technical jargon to confuse me and the actual repair required. He was not interested to listen when I said how come a headlight lamp costs £19 and you are charging £60. All he said was; take it or leave it .

This feels like a bait-and-switch tactic and shows very poor transparency. I was told that my car had “additional problems” after it was taken for servicing, and I was asked to pay extra money on top of the original price. I felt pressured to approve the extra charges as I needed my car back. This was very disappointing and felt unfair. The original quote was not respected, and the extra costs were not clearly explained beforehand. I regret using this service and would not recommend this company to anyone. Be very careful, as the final price may be much higher than what you are first told.

Very poor experience. My car was returned without a proper itemised invoice, or clear explanation of what work has actually been carried out. Attempts to contact the company by phone were unsuccessful with the line permanently engaged. Emails resulted in vague responses and long delays despite being told , that my case was “ escalated “. Complete lack of transparency and customer service. I would strongly advise others to read reviews carefully before using this company.

PLEASE DO NOT USE SERVICING STOP SCAM Servicing stop will claim to be cheap but once you’re car is collected and delivered to an undisclosed garage you will get the scam call from servicing stop rep telling you that the car requires additional work. The call will say you’re car requires a break fluid change and engine oil flush (the scam this work is not require but almost always quoted cost £385 )+ special oil cost with every service £38 AND MORE ££££ They will use word like break failure/engine fault/must be done to compleat service today pressurising you to agree payment The car will be held almost like ransom there is no contact number or e mail address that will respond to complaints GOD HELP YOU IF YOU USE SERVICING STOP

A total scam……Paid for a service and then they wasted more money for Special Oil what the hell is Special Oil….every service we have had in the past Includes the oil. As the saying goes ..Buyer Beware…

This company is a total scam! A complete rip-off. Every charge on my service, having googled the average cost for my car, was at least a 50% overcharge. When I emailed them to ask about their costs, they consistently ignored me. IF I COULD ZERO STARS, I WOULD Be warned, stay away. TOTAL RIP-OFF SCAM COMPANY!!!

If I could give them zero I would! They are not transparent and use bad garages. They came and took my car away and took it to a garage that is not in my local area, and then the garage called up and the guy was not very polite and told me a lot of things and I ended up paying a huge sum for what they said was essential work. Then the very next day I can hear a scraping noise and go to the local tyre centre because I thought it was a puncture and low and behold all the brakes are so worn down as to be dangerous! The report said the brakes were check and were fine! I have emailed Servicing Stop and no one has replied, there is no option to telephone them or talk to an agent. It is a TOTAL SCAM. They take away your car, do NO work, call and harass and scare you, take your money then send back the car. The worst kind of negligence!

Car booked in for Mot and service. Total price £187 which I thought was great. Half way through the day I got a phone call from them. They told me that I need to pay them over £300 to have the brake fluid and coolant changed or the service would not be completed. I felt at the time that I was pressured into paying this. It turned out that the garage would normally phone me themselves and explain that it would be up to me if I wanted the brake and coolant change and it would not have affected the outcome of the service. I found out later that this company Servicing Stop are a complete waist of time and that they do this to quite a lot of people. They are ripping people off by threatening them that if they don't have something done it will stop their service being completed. Please do not use these people it might seem a good idea but they are a ruthless bunch of ####### and they will resort to anything to get your money. Service book was not stamped.

Bad experience! Understatement, we paid £150 up front for a MOT and service, our car was collected Friday 23rd Jan, not on a trailer they drive your car using your diesel/petrol to a garage that you are not informed of, we found out our car was 60 miles away! They did the MOT but said we needed special oil for a Nissan £36 by the time they had finished telling us what needed doing it came to £980, we did not go ahead with this, asked for our car back with just a interim service, NO CAR arrived on Monday as they said it would, so I then had to take a days holiday for Tuesday as I couldn't get to work! Told Tuesday the car would be back by 4pm, about 2pm a friend of mine saw my car at the top of my estate, locked up just sitting there, so I went to look and it was my car I used my spare key to get in, it was filthy inside, when I started the engine there was no diesel in it at all completely empty!! So I moved the car to my drive, then heard someone putting the car keys through my letterbox! When I opened the door I asked why my car had been parked somewhere else and not on my drive! Why was the service book not stamped he said he could do that now as they carry stamps around with them! But he didn't have one said he would come back and do it, so I would say DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE WITH YOUR CARS mine looks like it's been on a rampage

The worst ever company. Scam artists. I was charged 4 times the cost of the work.They didn't know that I would go and speak to the garage to find out what work was actually done. They charged me for work.They charged me for work that was not done! Also , they overcharged me for lots of other work... 4 x the true cost!! No way to speal to anyone except when they want to take your bank details! Shambles of a company.

Aw yea hidden costs and "extra work" galore. Got my car MOT'd last year and what was a cheap MOT turned into over a grands worth of work that they "had" to do to release my car. Avoid at all costs, Just pay the extra for the service and MOT!

Just had my car serviced by this company, absolutely fuming. A full service was offered at £130. I was charged £465 + the initial £130 for the service. I have been told for the work which was carried out was £85 tops. Steer well clear! Utter disgrace!!!

I would urge anyone looking to use this company to give it a very wide berth. It does present as a slightly cheaper option initially but beware the hidden costs. I was contacted by the team telling me I needed a full system flush before they could change the oul, this was utter nonsense and when I called the appointed garage they advised that no such recommendation was made and the oil change had been completed. Attempted to speak to the individual trying to get me to pay for the “full flush” but lo and behold unable to speak to him. In addition to the sales tactics and the greed for more money it is so very difficult to contact the company. Before you make this choice, just try to reach them by phone on the customer services numbers selecting that your car is booked in and see if you can speak to anyone. It’s a simple Test and will take moments saving you hours of frustration if you need to contact them.

I think your company needs looking into. Reading reviews I’ve had a bad experience today.after my car going in for service. Basically forced into. Getting work done or no car bk. I spoke to local garage for advice said. They would automatically do what I’ve been charged for in with the service an extra £187.00 got on top of £176 upfront. Full service
