“I went to scrivens in Whitchurch, Shropshire. The eye test and the person doing the test were both excellent, talking me through everything. I had never needed glasses before but now needed some for distance and some for reading. The ladies discussed with me my options and I opted for 2 pairs. As I had never worn glasses before their help at choosing glasses which suited me was excellent. I was given a date when my glasses would be delivered but was contacted earlier as they had arrived which was excellent. Glasses are excellent. I would definitely recommend Scrivens.”

“I visited the Mildenhall branch and was greeted with a warm and friendly welcome by Michelle and Donna. I then had my eye test with Eleanor , who explained everything very clearly in an approachable , professional manner . I felt completely at ease and Eleanor recommended I had some occupational glasses as my work is largely on computer screens. I then chose my glasses from a very good selection, with the care and attention of Michelle advising me which glasses suited me best. The glasses were reasonably priced and it was very easy to find a pair I was happy with . I left the store feeling very satisfied after a very pleasant and informative test , and a very high level of customer care from start to finish . Thankyou so much .”

“I’ve been visiting the Tewkesbury branch for a few years and always return due to the personable and professional approach from staff. Staff are welcoming and approachable and nothing is ever too much of a problem. Kirsty always greets us with a welcoming smile on her face and makes me feel a bit more relaxed.”

“Good service on the day I had my eyes tested and was selecting new frames. However when I went back with a problem to resolve, not helpful at all, very unhelpful. I wanted sleeves on the arms of my frames, due to an allergic reaction. This is something previous opticians have always done for me in 35 years of spectacle wearing. The response this morning in your branch was to look on Amazon and do it myself! Not good service at all, won't be coming back and will advise friends not to.”

“My sight test was very professionally done, and all staff were very friendly and helpful during frame selection. There was a huge choice of frames, many designer ranges as well as cheaper options. Measurements were carefully taken, and everything was explained all the way through. I love my new specs, vision is sharp and they fit perfectly. There was a real feeling of customer care at Hoddesdon, I felt welcome and valued. They are a great team, and a real asset to the company.”

“My first experience of an eye test, with additional free hearing test was really lovely. Both Mark and Lesley were friendly, patient and sensitive to all my queries and needs, and I felt at ease almost immediately. The centre felt comfortable and there seemed to be plenty of time to complete my appointment without rush or distraction. I look forward to returning to complete my first experience at Scrivens soon.”

“Service in the Penzance branch is always good. Friendly staff who go the extra mile for customers. Appointments are well-spaced and the branch is light and airy…all very important these days. Good selection of frames and lenses with a wide price range and no sales pressure, just well-informed advice and information.”
