“Very helpful staff. Nothing is too much trouble. It’s a very relaxing atmosphere and you don’t get the ‘hard sell’. I would wholeheartedly recommend Scrivens.”

“My visit was very positive. The 2 members of staff were friendly, professional and informative. The eye examination was at a good pace and, whilst choosing frames, the lady who helped me was honest and very helpful. Throughout I felt well cared for.”

“All lovely and friendly very helpful with picking my glasses only thing they don’t have as much to choose from and it takes awhile to be able to collect but apart from that they are lovely helpful”

“WOW! The service I received at your Tewkesbury branch (High Street) last month was simply brilliant. Nothing was to much trouble for the girls in there. Very friendly and attentive. I don't think you will find service to that standard anywhere else in Tewkesbury. I highly recommend.”

“I took my 15yr old daughter for an eye test and to order new glasses at the Kingstanding Birmingham branch. All the staff were very helpful and professional. The Optometrist was very kind and put my daughter at ease. The new glasses were ordered and I received a phone informing me they were ready for dispensing within 7 days. Fantastic service I was very impressed.”

“I made an appointment for a hearing test at Scrivens, Bromyard, following a visit to an ENT consultant in December. When I arrived the staff were so welcoming and took the necessary information professionally and discretely. The appointment was on time and Adam, the audiologist, was also friendly and welcoming. His examination was absolutely thorough and at every stage he discussed exactly what he was doing and why, carefully showing and explaining each result to me. I have very badly scarred eardrums and he took photos for his records, showing me the pictures and telling me what I was looking at. At the end of the appointment I felt that I knew more about my ears and hearing than I have ever done before, and over the years I have seen several NHS and private ENT consultants. Adam recommended a review in 6months and the reception staff helpfully noted in their diary when this would be due. When I asked how much I owed for the appointment I was told that everything Adam had done was supported by the NHS and there was no charge. I cannot recommend Adam and the fantastic team at Scrivens in Bromyard highly enough. Thank you to everyone for such amazing care today.”

“I have been a customer at my local branch of SCRIVENS HAWTHORN ROAD, KINGSTANDING B44 8PL for some time and have purchased both spectacles and Hearing Aids from them. As my cataracts progressed, so my eyesight deteriorated. At the end of last year, I was advised by the Optometrist that both eyes needed surgery and I was referred to SpaMedica in Birmingham for assessment. Both eyes were operated on within three months and I am now awaiting my new spectacles. Throughout the whole process, all the staff at Scrivens have been supportive and helpful and you could not meet a more pleasant group of individuals. Attiya Rehman, the Optometrist identified my problem and promptly referred me to SpaMedica and the Manager, Emma Johnson, kept me in touch with what was going on. These two, and all the other staff at Hawthorn Road have been excellent and without exception are a credit to your organisation. I highly recommend them and the service that they provide as employees of your firm.”

“I called in this morning as my spectacles needing repairing. The ladies were extremely friendly and helpful and attended to me immediately in a very courteous manner. An excellent family run opticians that I can not recommend highly enough.”

“My Husband and I visited the Wimborne Scrivens for the first time on the 1/3/2022. We found all the staff very professional making us feel valued as customers nothing was too much trouble making it a very pleasant experience. Will have no trouble in recommending them.”

“Had my eye test done to get my new prescription glasses. Asked the lady for help to choose two pairs of glasses and she chose 2 for 100 pounds each not even pointing out the price beforehand. Ended up with 2 pairs of glasses which I cannot use as they give me blurred vision even after I went back to have them re- checked. Before I used Spacesavers and they done my glasses without any problems.”

“I purchased two pairs of glasses some month ago I could not use them one a pair of reading glasses and a so-called special set. the fames are good, but I could not read from either pair, I had a proper eye test in you store ...! waste of time and a lot of money £566 for two pairs of glasses, so I had to go buy some locally. the others are still in their cases with their recite, they were meant for me to read small print as that's what i need to work, there useless , there are more than 40 people on my village fourum who agree.”
