“Amazing attention to detail, no one was rushing around to get you in and out and both the ladies I saw took the time to explain everything in detail to ensure all was well understood and we're thorough and happy to answer any questions I had during my visit. A very personal, yet professional level of care given, thank you. Scrivens will be my regular optician going forward.”

“The ladies who work in your Weymouth branch were lovely especially the Manager. Was recommended here by my friends and I use to go to Specsavers but I liked that Scrivens gave a more personal touch so will recommend you to others.”

“10/10 experience! Sonya, Becky & staff were all warm, welcoming & professional! Sonya who conducted my lights test & hearing screening is very good at what she does & made it all smooth & easy! The optometrist, Navarro Kaur Gill was welcoming, thorough & lovely to talk to. Livingston even had a quick look at my ears as my hearing screening was a bit worrying. All in all, a lovely appointment.”

“Popped in this morning with a screw missing from my glasses, never been there before, a kind lady fixed my glasses with no fee, will definitely go there again ... what a marvellous customer experience”

“Booked it for an eye test at the Fordhouses/Oxley branch after it was recommended by a friend. Had a wonderfully thorough eye examination with the lady optician and was seen by a young asian/indian man about glasses options. They were very knowledgeable and professional however I didnt purchase any glasses. Even though the service i received was exceptional, i was put off as I could hear the manager discussing the numbers of sales they’d done and comparing it to neighbouring stores. This was off putting as I felt like they just wanted my money to reach whatever goal they were set. I understand businesses must make money to stay afloat but i have never heard any other business discuss it so openly. I imagine some commission for the managers is involved. Hmmmm”

“I went to the Ely branch for my eye test and glasses. All of the staff at the front were brilliant, happy to help and a good laugh too. The optician was lovely, I think her name was Ellie. This branch is an absolute credit to you, thank you ladies”

“Customer service at the St Giles Street branch in Norwich was excellent. Especially Shaun who was friendly, thorough and professional. Also credit to the young lady in the branch who answered the phone when I enquired about collecting my new glasses. She was very chatty and friendly, and also professional and efficient. The branch is smaller compared to some of the larger national chains, but this creates a more relaxed, calm and personal environment. All the staff in the branch seem to work extremely well as a team and provide an excellent service which is both friendly and knowledgeable.”
